10/05/2025: Tremendo. Potessi gli darei 0 stelle. Prezzi super gonfiati per delle pietanze che di qualità potevo ricercare al supermercato . Non sto scherzando. Un'insalata dell' Lidl buttata dentro una ciotola direttamente dalla busta: non condita, con appena un po' di frutta secca. Buoni i gamberetti, ma seriamente 5 di numero x 15 euro? Per non parlare della paella. Mai neppure vista. Appena sedute (siamo arrivate alle 19:10), ci dicono che avremmo dovuto aspettare mezz'ora. E va bene. Aspettiamo aspettiamo e aspettiamo, e alle 20:30, chiediamo della pietanza per due e ci dicono che bisogna aspettare un'altra mezz'ora/40 Min. E il locale era pure semi vuoto. Ora capisco il perché. Ci siamo alzate e siamo andate via. Mai più.

26/04/2025: Very welcoming place in the historic center of Trieste. I opted for the Valencian paella accompanied by sangria. Excellent choice of products.

01/08/2025: A perfect little place. Brilliant interior, plenty of good alcohol, and friendly service. The downside... The place offers a siesta break during the day from Monday to Friday.

18/07/2025: I admit I've returned to this place after a long time, and management must have changed. The place is a typical bar with old-fashioned vintage furnishings that feel like a step back in time, but the old management was the perfect combination of a family atmosphere without any pretensions, good food, and unsurprising prices. Bearing this in mind, I still wanted to try it, so I ordered two small pastries—not the famous carsoline, which were already sold out, but a different kind of dessert. It's certainly good, but I don't find five euros a portion justified, neither for the type of dessert, nor for the service offered, nor for the type of venue (identical to the old one and not renovated). I repeat, the dessert was good, but overall it wasn't worth the asking price, especially considering it was a takeaway. A real shame, because I appreciated the decision not to alter the bar's structure and menu.

18/08/2025: Excellent pizzas made with quality ingredients. The delivery service is efficient, especially the friendly and helpful girl on the phone. Recommended!

09/08/2025: At a certain point, they stopped answering the phone. I was waiting for confirmation of my pizza, but nothing, I was left without it. This shows a truly lack of professionalism and customer service... a shame, since my friends had opted for another pizzeria, but I really wanted to try this one. Good to know for the future, though: both I and they will avoid it!

26/07/2025: My favorite Chinese restaurant in Trieste, and I've tried many, almost all of them! Generous portions, very fair prices, and a varied selection of dishes. I recommend the seafood fried rice; you won't find anything like it at other restaurants!

26/05/2025: Excelente comida. Teníamos el pollo y la tagliata de ternera, ambos muy tiernos y cocinados por expertos. El vino de la casa era un delicioso merlot. Ambiente muy relajado y acogedor. Tenemos nuestro conserje del hotel para agradecer la recomendación, ya que desde la calle parece un bar de vinos. Está a dos cuadras del lugar donde atracan los cruceros, por lo que es muy céntrico.

09/03/2025: Como recomendó el conserje en nuestro (excelente) hotel en Trieste, esto fue acogedor, buena comida, super elección de vinos por copa y buena relación calidad-precio. ¿Qué más se puede pedir? Tuvimos una comida variada y magníficamente ejecutada - el sarro de ternera y el pollo lento - cocinado eran ambos sobresalientes - y cuando el conserje del hotel y sus colegas llegaron para su almuerzo, entendimos su recomendación! No lo dudes.

01/09/2025: I remembered Joia restaurant as one of the best in the city, but now it seems to have become a tourist hotspot, neglected and neglected. The service was terrible: we waited about 40 minutes for each dish, despite being among the first customers seated, while everyone around us was being served. After asking for clarification, we were simply told to be patient. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't make up for the wait either: mediocre and lacking in character. I know both Joia and Tenda Rossa well, but unfortunately, both have gone downhill a lot recently. I don't know what happened :/

24/07/2025: Restaurant with easy parking in a suburban neighborhood. Typical but standard lunches with the option of some local specialties... and some new additions. Service is prompt. Excellent product quality. For Trieste, an excellent alternative to... the city center! Prices... could use a bit of a shake.

12/07/2025: Sono andato a prenderlo di persona altrimenti avrebbe accumulato ulteriore ritardo, il locale aveva al momento due tavoli serviti, ed inoltre mi è stato chiesto se volevo una bibita in omaggio per il ritardo, quando in realtà l'avevo ordinata

21/07/2025: Strange. The sushi was okay, but I was told that the soup doesn't come before the main course, but rather when the chef has time. After a long wait, we canceled the appetizers when paying. The pretty waitress's shabby outfit seemed inappropriate to me.
