Honestly, Nonna couldn't cook better. The best fish in Trieste, accompanied by fantastic sparkling wine. Just follow their recommendations; they know what they're doing. Molto Grazie.

A picturesque, warm, and romantic place where you can enjoy excellent crudités and fresh fish served with passion by genuinely friendly (husband and wife?) staff. As a seafood lover, I recommend this restaurant run by a friendly and passionate Trieste restaurateur (proudly of Austrian origin, which doesn't hurt). Summary: fresh fish, excellent wine, beautiful setting, delightful owners. Also great for young people on their first romantic dinner: the fish is undoubtedly very fresh.

I only made a quick stop here, as I already had a reservation elsewhere (unfortunately). They don't usually offer aperitivo, but after a brief exchange and my request for a glass of Blanc de Blanc Champagne, the host agreed to my request, and I ended up having one of the best crudos I've ever had. Super fresh, excellent local quality, and just Maldon salt and oil with a touch of lemon – divine! The Champagne was equally impressive; the glass was pre-chilled with ice cubes and then rinsed. Top-notch service, something I wouldn't have expected from the owner, who, based on my initial thought, should probably be spending the evening at home with his grandchildren. But perhaps I'm just an unusual guest, asking for an aperitif alone at 6:00 PM in a Champagne restaurant… Regardless, it's definitely worth a visit!

I’ve been eyeing this restaurant for about a year, and yesterday we finally got the chance to try it. The staff were friendly and professional, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely. The portions are small, but absolutely worth it.

A truly excellent experience! We ate the freshest raw oysters, delicious lupini with pasta, and a perfectly cooked sea bream with potatoes. Everything was top-quality, with authentic flavors and attention to detail. The service was professional and the atmosphere very pleasant. The bill was quite high, but absolutely in line with the quality of the fish and the overall experience. Definitely a restaurant to return to for a special dinner. Highly recommended!

Truly exceptional seafood restaurant. I've never tasted such delicious raw fish: incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared. The waiters were excellent, always kind and with just the right amount of humor to put you at ease. They recommended dishes impeccably, and every suggestion was spot on. The restaurant is also beautiful, with a refined and elegant interior. A truly excellent experience, I'll definitely be back!
