05/06/2025: Very good toast and if you ask for it well done they don't give you any explanations and the toast is cold. They give you the toast well done!!!

02/05/2025: Nice corner spot at the head of a two-way street. Not very large, but welcoming. Outside there is space for several tables. Friendly and prepared staff. Above average service. The sandwiches are good and very varied and they also serve cocktails. More than decent coffee. They sell cigarettes. Definitely worth going if in the area.

13/09/2025: This osteria is a must-visit if you're in Trieste. Paolo and Donatella are exquisite. Delicious and delicious food. A top-notch! You eat what's available because it's authentic cuisine, only fresh, daily ingredients are used: and we ate everything, even mopping up the bread. You have to reserve by phone, otherwise you won't find a table. We'll definitely be back.

20/07/2025: A unique experience in a restaurant with a casual and welcoming atmosphere. The set menu offered to all guests makes for a convivial dinner, with well-designed and carefully crafted dishes. It's family-run, with simple, authentic service. The food was excellent: quality ingredients, tasty preparation, and balanced portions. My only complaint: the final price seemed a bit high, but it's still an interesting and unusual place. Worth a try, especially if you're curious to enjoy something different in a unique setting.

22/08/2025: It was a last-minute decision; unfortunately, there was only a small menu, but everything tasted good and the staff were friendly.

18/07/2025: Easiest 5 stars. We came here without expecting much looking at other reviews, were we in for a treat! The host is a sort of Italian Robin Williams combining a unique dynamic flair, easy hospitality and personal interaction. This seems to reflect in the food that is not just tasty, made and presented with attention but also engaging and interesting. Loved the spaghetti with black garlic, and the pasta with goulash was to die for. Not to mention the lasagnetta with pesto and pea sprouts on top. Served with excellent local Vitovska wine and an excellent tiramisu this lunch approaches what is for me the perfect restaurant experience.

09/08/2025: Came by this place after a chilly swim at the city beach. Food was lovely but the waitresses was pretty sad. Tried by best to alter this but no luck. Probably students at summer jobs. Lovely concept but hey, get a grip.

03/08/2025: The place is cute, located on a busy central street. It has tables both inside and outside, a varied menu, and a section dedicated to "Smash Burgers." Unfortunately, the sandwiches aren't smash burgers, as the meat patties (about 90g) are simply flattened and don't have the cooking characteristics of a true smash. Furthermore, the bread and salad were disproportionate to the burger, which was submerged and very small, losing its meaning. On the plus side, the fries were plentiful, crispy, and perfectly fried. The beers were limited, but good. Given the current state of the sandwiches, I think the prices are high compared to the quality and competitors, but there's definitely room for improvement, and I hope to be able to raise the star rating in the future.

08/07/2025: maybe the best coffee I ever had. also, cookies and cupcakes are excellent. prices are ok, and the atmosphere is beautiful. staff is nice but sometimes a bit slow because it is usually crowded. the location is perfect: near the park and not so far away from the sea. I regret for not buying coffee for home (I haven’t realise that they sell coffee in bags, for home) but I do really hope to visit Trieste again soon. this is a place to be!!!

Rooms not very large but perfect in every aspect from cleanliness to furnishings that are in a modern style Parking impossible, but be careful you can leave the car a few meters from the hotel and through their paid service the car is picked up and brought back by them at the time you need Common areas very well furnished, breakfast to try in terms of service and customer attention You are right in the center so you can reach everything on foot

17/05/2025: The condition of the room is satisfactory, although I wouldn't call it too stylish in an otherwise classically beautiful hotel. The price-value ratio is adequate. The location is fantastic for a little Trieste adventure! 🙏🙂♥️🥂🍾

23/08/2025: Without frills but with a lot of passion and quality products, Dardo Rosso stands out for offering dishes that satisfy the pleasure of eating well. Meat first and foremost, including roast beef and beef fillets cooked to perfection, but not just meat. The fries are special, the grilled vegetables are excellent, the omelettes are delicious, and so on. It's a family business that deserves a round of applause. The selection of lactose-free desserts is absolutely appreciable. And, in addition to the great quality, it must be said that the portions are generous and the prices are absolutely fair. Highly recommended!

02/09/2025: Well, this was great. One of the best gastronomic experiences of our vacation. Everything was great, service, prices, quality! The pizza was simply flawless. And then we tried the TIRAMISU. I never thought I would ever say this, but it was the best tiramisu of my life. Just to eat here, I would drive several hours from Česká Ostrava to get there! ♥️♥️ Thank you, Mrs. Roberto!

02/09/2025: A delicious place for pizza!!! There's no need to look for something in Trieste. The best way is to take the historic tram to Opicina and choose this place. The pizza is fantastic, and Mrs. Roberta is the life and soul of this place. Finally, the tiramisu was so amazing, it's a must-try. And the prices are fantastic!

22/08/2025: Unfortunately, we arrived at 2:30 PM and everything was already sold out, which is a good thing for them. I can't review it because I only had the meatballs. I thought they were good, though. A tip: arrive before 2:30 PM 😉

As a tourist I was unlucky to visit a lot of bad restaurants in Trieste, but this place gave me back the hope that there are still places with the decent service in this city. The food was incredibly fresh, the dishes were carefully prepared, and all our customization requests were accommodated without a hitch.
