06/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place quite by chance a few nights ago. The place is really cozy and has a wonderful, elegant feel. The food was simply delicious, and the staff was super friendly and very attentive. We really enjoyed our time here. Hopefully, we'll be back soon!

25/09/2025: I went for dinner because I had a €50 discount from a well-known booking app. Honestly, I had high expectations for this place, especially since I've been frequenting Porto San Rocco for a long time as a guest of a shipowner. The entree was brought, but there were no cutlery, and the waiter disappeared. I'd say it turned out to be the best dish. The mussels appetizer had no seafood flavor, and the sauce was practically nonexistent. The spaghetti with clams was far too al dente, needing at least a couple more minutes of cooking, and was very dry. A plate of crudités, which I didn't eat; I was told only the shrimp were up to par. We asked for bread between the first and second courses, but it never arrived. Bottom line: despite the €50 discount, the quality/price ratio was really poor. Definitely not recommended.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review. I'm a fairly regular customer and have already complained several times about pizza being raw, burned, or having pieces of coal under it, which you end up nibbling on most of the time. My family and I go out for pizza. I specify that they don't burn it from the start. We order my son's pizza, which arrives promptly burned. The biggest insult is my wife's, which is a buffalo mozzarella with more raw mozzarella. In the chaos of the evening, a regular Margherita arrives... my wife points out that it's not a Margherita, but a buffalo mozzarella with more raw mozzarella. Unfortunately, they added ham and left out the Margherita (thinking customers are ignorant and don't know the difference between regular mozzarella and buffalo mozzarella). I order the wrong pizza (my mistake in ordering a white pizza and I wanted a red one). They kindly tell me they'll remake it. I accept and thank them. The new pizza arrives with the same toppings as the previous one, and the tomato added. It's overcooked and bitter as hell. The taste???? I'll leave the reader to think about it. I needed four more jaws to eat the whole pizza. At least don't say, "We'll remake it." If you then transfer the pizza, I find it absurd and awful. It's clear the old pizza chef is gone. Both in terms of the dough and the oven management. On a positive note, the waiters are always smiling and courteous, and they pamper the customers.

29/09/2025: Excellent pizzas, and prices are still reasonable considering the competition. I often order takeout, but eating in is also nice. A quiet place with an excellent selection of pizzas and desserts.

29/10/2025: A special evening spent at this restaurant. Excellent food and friendly, smiling staff. The owner is a true gentleman. The chef, who you watch cooking and preparing the dishes, is a true artist. Definitely recommended, especially since the price per person versus the amount you eat and drink is very attractive.

25/08/2025: Very nice, family-like service. Delicious and fresh food, the pastas, pizzas, salads and appetizers were all delicious! Next time we are in Trieste, we will definitely go back!

30/09/2025: Fantastic setting. Free-roaming animals and greenery everywhere, which I admit, must have its costs. These costs are passed on to the food, which wasn't appreciated by all guests, not even by me. It could be much better. The paper tablecloth and napkins don't match the prices, and then, the desserts, while good, €7 per portion seems disproportionate given their simplicity. To conclude, speaking of fairness (it's the law), there are no prices displayed, not even a menu.

06/10/2025: The atmosphere is quite noisy. The food, however, is good and usually served within reasonable waiting times. The price, however, is slightly too high, especially if you request modifications, such as substituting a side dish.

24/09/2025: We had two sandwiches, both cold, the cheese wasn't even melted, which was a shame. The service was quick, but I would have preferred to wait a little longer and have the dish hot. The staff is very kind.

18/07/2025: I admit I've returned to this place after a long time, and management must have changed. The place is a typical bar with old-fashioned vintage furnishings that feel like a step back in time, but the old management was the perfect combination of a family atmosphere without any pretensions, good food, and unsurprising prices. Bearing this in mind, I still wanted to try it, so I ordered two small pastries—not the famous carsoline, which were already sold out, but a different kind of dessert. It's certainly good, but I don't find five euros a portion justified, neither for the type of dessert, nor for the service offered, nor for the type of venue (identical to the old one and not renovated). I repeat, the dessert was good, but overall it wasn't worth the asking price, especially considering it was a takeaway. A real shame, because I appreciated the decision not to alter the bar's structure and menu.

14/09/2025: First time at this butcher shop Very friendly and helpful staff, ready to offer advice!! The counter is very well stocked, with many delicacies. We cooked the "exceptional" chicken skewers, truly delicious chicken!! The same goes for the beef skewers "bombette" and asado. The prices are normal. We will gladly return.

15/08/2025: I've been shopping at this butcher shop for many years: I've always found the quality excellent, with a wide variety of meats. The owners' helpfulness is also remarkable. I've recommended this butcher shop to many people, and everyone has given me very positive feedback, so much so that they even come from other parts of the city to buy.

03/06/2025: Very neat and original place with a hidden outdoor space, bar discovered by chance but from now on it will be my favorite bar for the excellent staff and the particular atmosphere. I tasted their brioches and they are very good and with particular flavors such as raspberry and mango

19/09/2025: The sushi was delicious! Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't very inviting and felt more like a snack bar. Additionally, the waitress made it clear she wasn't interested in us or tourists. She was extremely rude and placed two forks on the table for our sushi, as if she didn't trust us to eat with chopsticks. It's a shame, we won't be coming back!

19/09/2025: We ate for two, a three-person boat, two gounkan, and five ravioli: €40 each. The price was reasonable, especially considering the quality of the fish. The service was super friendly, and we'll definitely be back!

02/10/2025: A trattoria does not decorate the plates like a Chef with your food, this is what this place did. This is not a TRATTORIA !! Expensive and not good at all.
