20/08/2026: Food was ok, three of us had pizzas mostly with other small stuff. Food takes FOREVER, we waited for minimum of one hour while we saw people who came to takeaway pizzas were served within 15 minutes. We got seated in a narrow long aisle with no ventilation and we started sweating immediately. No one came to take order even for drinks or brought us water for at least 30 minutes. One of us got up and approached a bar keeper who was staring blank for some water ..finally we had water to drink. The same gentleman took our order on our request and we waited for more than an hour for the first pizza. When we inquired whether our order was correctly received: the guy from the kitchen screamed at our lady : its only been 20 minutes and you need to have more patience. (Like, seruously?) After that, some 1-2 started coming to take orders. We got hold of another African looking guy and asked for water. 40 minutes no water..we got up and went back to the bar reception for water and brought it ourself to our table. All of the waiters were unfriendly, no professionalism or small smile at face as if someone is holding a gun to their heads for their service. I had high hopes from this place seeing their reviews on Google but skip it if you can.

13/08/2026: We booked over a week in advance for Wednesday, August 5th, but when we arrived, the restaurant was closed. Of course, no one had warned us!

05/08/2026: We decided to eat here because there was a lineup and our ‘old school’ method was right! It was worth the wait!! (Wait was short too). Great friendly service and excellent food. The gnocchi goulash was amazing- would get it again! And yes the flowerpot tiramisu is cool and instagramable but it is also delicious. Eat on the patio if you can!

04/08/2026: Welcoming, though very crowded, restaurant. Reservations recommended. Efficient and prompt service, despite the large number of customers. Tables a little too close together (we dined outside). Well-prepared and tasty dishes. Prices perhaps a little higher than average.

08/05/2026: I couldn't have found a worse place. A sort of fixed menu for €18, including an embarrassing cod tartine and something that should have been a sautéed mussels. When we asked for a bottle of wine, the waiter insisted on "cashing in right away"... never happened in my life! I felt ashamed for them... never, ever again in this awful place. Grand finale: we were served two portions of calamari and the question was "What do you want, two squids too?"... Shame on you!

06/05/2026: When you come to the restaurant after shopping🙈 and you come at a time when it is closed, but the restaurant is family-run, it is run by our people, wrestle and when the owner tells you that it is not a problem, he will arrange something, and he will arrange a delicious fish platter for two and treat you to an excellent cod spread. 07/08/2026: We discovered this agriturismo by chance a few months ago, and we've been coming back ever since. The staff is delightful, and the dishes are truly delicious: the menu changes weekly and is always delicious, but if you can find them, the vegetable lasagna and carbonara are definitely worth a try.

06/08/2026: I've been to the Gran Malabar in Trieste, and I was truly satisfied. The place is welcoming and well-kept, with a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to linger. I had an aperitif accompanied by excellent appetizers, all fresh and well-prepared. The staff was kind, attentive, and always smiling, offering fast and professional service. An ideal place to spend a relaxing moment with friends. I will definitely return and would happily recommend it.

16/06/2026: A unique and inimitable play center that has stood the test of time. A great place to grab a good sandwich or a delicious meal and play a game. Good value for money. There's also a tobacconist and a newspaper stand. What more could you ask for?

14/08/2026: The location is incredible! The place is excellent, with a stunning sea view and, especially, the sunset. Great staff, who can manage all the tables. The food is home-made, and the food is delicious, with typical farmhouse dishes.

07/08/2026: The location is beautiful, with a fantastic view of the sea, which is why I give it 3 stars overall. As for the dishes, the prices are a bit above average for what's served: for example, the portion of "pasticcio" was really small for its cost...moreover, it wasn't really a traditional pasticcio, but rather a base made with béchamel and lasagna, which was simply covered with the chosen sauce, in this case red radicchio. The wild boar stew was very good, but it's a shame that the dishes were simply reheated in the evening, as was the grilled meat (some of the pieces were still a bit cold in the middle, and the rib meat wouldn't fall off the bone; perhaps it should have been cooked a little more). The waiters were friendly.

24/07/2026: l had a quick coffee ☕ and a croissant 🥐 here and it was delicious 😋 fresh and the coffee was superb. The girl at the bar was super nice and helpful. l will be back 👍

17/04/2026: I'm not giving it 5 stars for the simple fact that unfortunately the place is a bit small, otherwise nothing to say, friendly staff and really well-made cocktails and they have evenings with different types of music.
