We had a wonderful time here. Marvelous food and wines. We had pasta with duck ragu and Argentinian steak with green asparagus. And to start a board with cheese and cold cuts. Really great waiter. Magnificent overall.

We were lucky to find this place on a Friday night. The staff were incredibly friendly and treated us very well as tourists. They spoke English, explained the menu to us, and offered us Wi-Fi. The food was absolutely delicious—the best pasta we had in Trieste—and the wine was amazing too. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for the warm welcome; we will definitely be back.

What can I say? This is a truly fantastic little place. The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is quiet and not at all noisy. The food was excellent, and the kitchen is run by two very talented young people! My compliments to the entire staff.

Surely one of the nicest and most authentic Italian restaurants in Trieste? Every aspect here is perfect from the cosy, relaxed ambience to the succinct but accomplished menu. Each dish we ordered was the best we'd tasted of its kind: the beef carpaccio was wafer-thin yet full of flavour, a rich carbonara was perfectly enhanced with crispy guanciale, gnocchi goulash was tender and flavourful, and we finished with a delectable Black Forest chocolate fondant. The accompanying wine was also delicious, and we appreciated the advice from our knowledgeable server. An added bonus is that it's also very fairly priced which is a welcome treat for this standard of cooking in central Trieste. We hope to return!
