Beautiful place in San Daniele del Friuli. The only drawback is the limited seating inside and the tables are too close together. But there's a great outdoor space for cooler days.

I happened to be in those parts by chance 3 years ago and had a great time, a really nice and well-kept place, the kindness is at home and the food is EXCELLENT, all the ingredients for a few hours of happiness. As soon as I can I make those 2-hour drive to go there, now I go there very often. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

23/03/2026: Located in Maiaso in Carnia, this osteria offers truly excellent food. I already knew the place, and I must say it never disappoints. The selection isn't extensive, but everything is expertly prepared. The owner is very friendly, and the staff were very kind and attentive to all our needs. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Ai Cjastinars Trattoria

01/05/2026: We stopped for lunch. I had a local specialty, cjarsons, and a mixed grill with polenta and beans my way. The food was truly excellent, very well prepared, and the rooms were spacious. My only slight negative comment was the quantity of cjarsons; I would have liked a little more, but that didn't affect the top rating. The portions of the main course, meat and beans, were very generous.
