We went to lunch at Cavaliere perso yesterday, June 19, 2026.
The place is nice, with just a few tables and covered with photos of famous people who have lunched/dined there. Besides the Stranglers, one of my favorite bands, who were there in 2023, there are signed photos of Silvio Orlando, Sigfrido Ranucci, Subsonica, Tinto Brass, Giovanni Allevi, and at least fifty other VIPs or so-called VIPs.
The restaurant employs only women; the owner is friendly and chatty. The atmosphere is good.
Getting down to business, we chose:
- Creamed cod, excellent
- Anchovies all'ammiraglia, excellent
- Veal with tuna sauce, excellent
- Cappellacci stuffed with herbs and almonds topped with buffalo mozzarella and pine nuts, delicious
- Saffron purée, very good
- Prosecco
- Mineral water
- 2 coffees
Simple but efficient service.
Bill: €90.00 total. In our opinion, well spent.
Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant in the center of Pordenone. Friendly and helpful staff. On a challenging evening due to sudden and unexpected weather changes, they handled the situation perfectly. Good, high-quality food, typically Friulian. Excellent value for money. Worth a try.

I opted for two courses: Sauris prosciutto with formadi frant and frico with polenta.
The quality of the ingredients was truly excellent, and the service impeccable!
The prices are in line with the quality of the dishes and the restaurant's location.
If you're passing through Pordenone's city center, a stop here is a must!

I had dinner with my daughter on Easter Saturday. We dined in a lovely, tastefully decorated alcove. The service was impeccable and warm. The food was excellent and plentiful. The price was absolutely in line with the quality of the cuisine. A great dinner!

Ylenia and Sonia are two wonderful people, passionate about good food and fine local wine.
They'll delight you with stories about the ingredients that go into each dish and related anecdotes.
We had lunch on the terrace, which was delightful despite the wind.
After the welcome appetizer accompanied by an excellent Ribolla, we ordered gnocchi filled with formadi frant cheese with chamomile and a celeriac sauce.
I took advantage of my dessert cravings to try their baked cheesecake with berries.

Excellent dinner. We ordered a frico with lard to share, and then I ordered the rib-eye steak with potatoes. Everything was excellent and reasonably priced.
