22/02/2026: A very intimate atmosphere where I felt welcomed rather than served. The dishes were simply but carefully plated, without the frills we're used to. The quality of the ingredients was good, and they could be enjoyed even with just oil, salt, and pepper, or even with more elaborate condiments. There was a good selection of wines from the region and neighboring regions. Overall, a very positive experience just a stone's throw from home, highly recommended.

24/01/2026: My wife and I have been frequenting Carpacceria Goretti for several years now. With her welcoming nature, owner Denis always makes everyone who walks in the door feel special. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing. The dishes—prepared by her "invisible" (because he practically never leaves the kitchen) husband, Giovanni—are a true delight, with unmistakable flavors. Whenever possible, I've brought people who weren't familiar with the place, and they've all been delighted. It's definitely worth it. :-)

08/02/2026: Historic restaurant in Cividale! It was a Sunday in February, and the restaurant was packed. The wait for the appetizer was a bit long; about 40-45 minutes! Too long! Excellent quality dishes featuring typical Friulian cuisine!

25/01/2026: A restaurant just steps from the city's historic center, with a large outdoor area for aperitivo. We went on a Sunday and I must say we had a great time. The menu features mostly traditional Friulian dishes. Service was quick and attentive, considering the restaurant was busy that day. The scoopable gelato served at the end was the icing on the cake. If you go, make sure to try it!

20/02/2026: We had a great time, the place was very large and clean. I appreciated the cotton tablecloths, not the paper ones (which many people use nowadays). We had pappardelle with venison sauce, which were very good and plentiful, and the pizza of the month with porcini mushrooms and pumpkin cream. FANTASTIC. The staff were friendly and made you feel at home. PS: Two small flaws: the bread that came with the pasta was burnt, and a little less oil on the pizza would have been appreciated. Anyway, I highly recommend it. We'll be back. Thank you all.

05/01/2026: I'm giving it two stars because behind every business there's undoubtedly a family and work, but I left this place with the distinct feeling of having been ripped off. The quality of the cuisine is what you'd expect from a historic trattoria, with some simple, ready-made dishes (creamed cod and lasagna, for example) that speed up and simplify service. However, it's 2026, and no matter how much you want to maintain your traditional character, no matter how much you don't want to lose your rustic, family-style identity, prices need to be communicated. I chose dishes from a verbally explained menu, without knowing the value of the dishes. At the table, I was brought water, bread, and wine without asking, but ultimately paid. The final bill was what I expect in a restaurant with service, a written menu with prices listed, the option to choose your own wine, and greater attention from the waiters. The lack of a menu listing prices and the waiter's quip, "The prices are reasonable," were clearly incorrect (and I believe illegal). I don't doubt that they are reasonable and well thought out, but I think it's appropriate to let the customer choose.

14/12/2025: Because of us, the experience was faster than it should have been. We were immediately delighted with the entree accompanied by a sparkling wine, followed by the restaurant's unique choice of having the menu brought to your table directly by the manager—a much appreciated experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming and attentive. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The food is refined yet faithful to tradition. We tried the poached egg with white truffle, the Friulian cappuccino (very popular, there was one at every table and the comments were all positive), tagliatelle with venison ragù, and ravioli with formadi frant and pumpkin, accompanied by glasses recommended by the staff. A delight. P.S. The only downside: the price was a surprise.

16/11/2025: Osteria restaurant in Villalta di Fagagna. Delicious food with a focus on local products. The paccheri with Montasio fondue and Friulian truffle are highly recommended. Roberto is knowledgeable and friendly, with a quick wit. Highly recommended.

07/03/2026: Charming historic venue, friendly and attentive staff. I definitely recommend the monastery's cjalsons, delicious! I would have preferred the creamed cod crostini warm/tepid, not cold...what a shame.
