A lovely dinner with a mix of typical food for us couples: fish appetizers and fish soup on one side, the whole cauldron on the other, and everyone was satisfied in the end. We even made peace with the waiters, a hasty and almost irritable welcome (perhaps because of the time, it was after 9 pm), but in the end, we earned a small smile.

We had the pleasure of dining here for two days, and we couldn't have had a better experience. From the warm and genuine welcome from the owners and staff, to the simple and comfortable atmosphere, and finally, the cuisine, which respects traditional ingredients and flavors. Thank you so much for filling us with such love! Highly recommended!

Visited a few months ago for work and a quick dinner, and on vacation with friends. A genuine osteria, just the way I like it. The dishes are typical of Trieste's meat (excellent) and fish (perhaps a little less, but still very good). The service is simple and efficient, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a traditional trattoria.

Traditional Trieste dishes, Jota, to say it was delicious is an understatement, eating it brought a tear to my eye, a dish you eat with your family, prepared by mothers and grandmothers with love.

A small but very comfortable restaurant, traditional trattoria-style, classic. Typical menu, good quality, good and fast service, super helpful and welcoming staff. Outside the city center, easy to reach on foot. Quiet, more peaceful atmosphere.

08/08/2026: Amazing. You wouldn't expect boiled meat to be this good. We went in for a sandwich, and returned for the mixed boiled meat platter after 2 minutes.
08/08/2026: A place from another era that specializes in boiled meat, a perfect choice because they do it well. I recommend the boiled meat, beer, sauerkraut, and strudel combo to immerse yourself in the Austro-Hungarian roots of Trieste/Trst. EXCEPTIONAL!

09/08/2026: The pork tenderloin in savor was very good, the jota was truly delicious, as was the goulash. I don't understand the point of the small bottle of water.
08/08/2026: A typical family-run Trieste restaurant offering traditional Central European meat dishes. The restaurant is very small and intimate, so reservations are highly recommended, as it only opens for dinner at 7:30 PM. We were lucky to arrive at opening time without a reservation and found the only available table. The experience was wonderful: friendly staff, a traditional and relaxed atmosphere, delicious, well-balanced, and satisfying dishes. The restaurant also offers very good craft beers. We ordered potato gnocchi with goulash, cheese and spinach crepes, Bohemian gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts, two beers, and three desserts. Highly recommended!
