I went to this place several times and tried their dishes including the characteristic soapstone. Going to this restaurant is certainly an experience because it allows you to cook the meat/vegetables independently and for a different lunch or dinner than usual it's worth it. Recommended both as a couple and in company. The environment is homely, made of wood, it makes you feel at home (clearly by cooking on the stone the smell in the room will be quite persistent but it is not unbearable as read in some reviews). The only not very positive note in my opinion: the service of a very cold waiter, unlike the older gentleman who was very kind and friendly towards all customers. We will definitely be back

Excellent and fun: we enjoyed a first course (tagliolini San Daniele) and, obviously, the stone soap, that is, a mixed grill served raw to be cooked to your taste on the aforementioned stone. The quality is really high, and cooking it is a real fun! To try!
Obviously we then concluded with a dessert (my coconut cake was truly excellent), "sgroppino" and coffee, all excellent... even the ramandolo which was a perfect match with the cake!
Just a tip: the grill is really plentiful: as a single dish it would be challenging to finish it, but if accompanied by a first course, a dessert, etc. .. better to share it with someone!

Nice place with large internal space (with large window) and many outdoor tables (ideal for the summer). The first is the meat I took, they were good and well prepared, the only flaw is not being able to choose between baked potatoes or fried potatoes, they decide based on the day. Professional and courteous staff. Price around €40/person I would say is correct for the quality of the raw materials and presentation of the dishes.

Definitely worth trying for the typical and characteristic cooking of meat and vegetables on soapstone, tasty but not exceptional first and second courses, beautiful external view

Beautiful place, outside is spectacular for events such as weddings or birthday parties. The meat was excellent and the wine was delicious. We stayed very well. Excellent quality price. Highly recommended.

Ristorante tipico, ambiente caldo e accogliente. La carne è la specialità della casa. La particolarità è data dalla possibilità di poter gustare diversi tipi di carne, formaggi e vrrdure, potendoli cuocere da soli servendosi di una pietra ollare calda portata al tavolo. Anche la cheesecake alla crema di nocciola è davvero buona.

Il Locale è una tipica trattoria friulana paesana, carina e accogliente. Preso il piatto sulla piastra di roccia rovente, diverso, ma buono, ti fa anche passare il tempo è ti tiene impegnato. Buona scelta di piatti e prezzo nella media. Personale gentilissimo. Locale un po’ imboscato, ma … da provare e tornarci
