08/05/2025: I had dinner with a friend in this CasaVersa place which in the past has certainly seen better times, potentially the restaurant would be nice but unfortunately very poorly maintained starting from the toilet with broken sink and hole in the floor, the paper napkins, the opaque glasses and in general everything quite neglected, From the menu we ordered some drumsticks with good ragù, but my second course of baked pork ribs seemed more like boiled meat, plus between the fat, sinews and bones there was very little to eat, If the service is a bit like "long live the parish priest", the bill certainly isn't, 2 first courses / 2 second courses / 1 bottle of water / 1 liter of loose battle wine / 2 coffees / 1 bitter = around €70

12/05/2025: Together with my colleagues we often come for lunch taking advantage of the "business lunch" option. We would like to underline the courtesy and helpfulness of all the staff and in particular of Annamaria, Samara and Simona who always welcome us with a smile and serve us excellent dishes every time!

08/05/2025: I came to book for my birthday and I must say that some things that I didn't know were explained to me very well by Samara at the reception. to whom my thanks go for making simple what I didn't know. On my birthday I went to celebrate it in this splendid place and, instead of talking about the food that deserves a special mention in every dish we ate, I would like to mention each of the people who in their own way were able to transform a birthday into an event. Special thanks go to Anna, Jo and Carmine and lastly Simona. of strong visual impact, I recommend the sweet tiramisu composition with a delicate taste, it is prepared directly by the waiter at the table

25/04/2025: We chose this place in view of my birthday which coincides with the Liberation Day because, not being local, we wanted to try typical Friulian products based on the photos and reviews of the place which among other things is considered a historic place in the area. First of all, the welcome was not warm so we felt embarrassed. Once we were seated and looked at the menu we were disappointed because the typical dishes that we so wanted to taste were not mentioned such as, for example, the platter of cold cuts and cheeses, the frico etc... We asked if there was still the possibility of being able to taste them but the response received was arrogant to say the least without giving us the opportunity to reiterate because it didn't give space for a possible dialogue, a lot of presumption. My partner and I believe that the house chopping board is the basis of an excellent image of the place and that it is absolutely not to be taken for granted even though, according to them, they offer it every day and prefer to vary it on holidays. At this point I take this opportunity to advise customers during a reservation to inform customers that the menu will vary due to holidays. Our request was very simple because we asked for a platter and certainly not an out-of-season dish, furthermore the proposed menu was very poor and once we asked for the second dish we were told that it was finished. Out of four choices, one was already finished so I leave the considerations to you. It's the first time we've stayed in a venue for such a short time, we literally ran away. If you want to feel at home this is not the place for you because once we decided not to continue with our lunch they immediately took away our plates and cutlery and didn't even ask us how our lunch went. Never again!

31/05/2025: A small historic tavern in Chiavris, with the characteristics I love: the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff very kind. Top canapés, I recommend the one with porchetta and caramelized onion. For those who want to keep it lighter, the focaccia with cherry tomatoes and stracciatella is excellent, for those with trucker tastes like me 🤪 the sandwich with gorgonzola, walnut sauce and a lot of other things that I don't remember but if I think about it now it makes me really hungry! In short, a place to come back and come back 💛

29/04/2025: I ordered the sandwiches on the phone and 15 minutes later they were ready for collection, very fresh and high quality ingredients not to mention the very nice owners who know how to make you smile even after a bad day! Artisan sandwiches with freshly cut cold cuts, highly recommended, next time try the beers or aperitifs too :D

31/05/2025: A must-see for a quick lunch at a reasonable price (€7 for a large sandwich). They have a wide selection of cold cuts, all of excellent quality. The wine is also excellent. Large internal room and large external patio. They also have seats on the barrels at the entrance to the restaurant. Recommended.

20/03/2025: What can I say, we got there after seeing an advertisement that said fixed menu also on Saturdays (which seemed strange to me, but if you find it on a post advertised on the restaurant page I believe it, 1pm empty restaurant and a bit chilly atmosphere, a lady welcomes us, when I ask for the fixed menu she replies that there is no Saturday and that the advertisement I saw is wrong, that whoever manages the fb page was wrong (to this day it is still on the page). She didn't apologise. So-so pizza, very good the schnitzel with chips is good.

01/03/2025: We went on a Friday evening to try the giropizza (available from Wednesday to Friday at a cost of €13 per person, excluding drinks and cover charge). Giropizza consists of eating special, particular pizzas, which arrive at the table divided into parts based on how many you are eating. You can eat up to two pizzas each (so if there are 5 of you, up to a maximum of 10 pizzas) and it always ends with the Nutella pizza. The service is very fast unlike other pizza places where you wait a long time between one slice and another and the pizza is shallow and very light. We ate the pineapple and parmesan pizza; pizza with speck, courgette, asiago; pizza with pumpkin cream, radicchio and smoked ricotta; pizza with sausage, corn, onion; pizza with Mortadella, balsamic glaze; pizza with cheese, pepper, onion and pizza with buffalo mozzarella, rocket, cherry tomatoes. We didn't even manage to reach the maximum limit of 10 pizzas. The waitress who served us was very friendly and helpful, she even gave us a candle to put on the Nutella pizza to celebrate a friend of ours. So recommended giropizza and pizzeria! You just have to be ready to eat flavors you wouldn't eat every day and to have hungry companions 😁

28/05/2025: We had lunch at the restaurant on the occasion of a family ceremony. The food was very good and the service was efficient and fast, the place was a bit small and undersized compared to the amount of seats set up.

22/04/2025: Siamo venuti qui apposta per assaggiare il crudo 36 mesi dato che ovviamente non si trova nei supermercati. Purtroppo la cameriera ha preso la comanda a memoria, senza scriverla.. risultato: abbiamo ordinato due porzioni di prosciutto 36 mesi e ci è arrivata una sola porzione. Per la seconda abbiamo dovuto chiedere. Ma al momento del conto ci siamo accorti che ci hanno servito il 20 mesi, dato che ha un prezzo inferiore. Fatto presente l'accaduto la ragazza alla cassa ha fatto spallucce senza nemmeno scusarsi, dicendo che salvo diversa richiesta loro servono sempre il 20 mesi. Peccato che la richiesta c'era stata, ma se non si prende nota è difficile offrire un servizio corretto. Ps.Non parliamo dell'abitudine ormai diffusa di accettare l'ingresso di cani anche molto grandi che scodinzolando spargono peli tra i tavoli mentre le persone mangiano.

The ice cream is sold in scoops like abroad, so if you want two flavors you have to bust your stomach and get the medium cone.
