I went to a communion lunch, beautiful place

I went to the restaurant, but I didn't stay overnight, so I don't know what the hotel is like. However, the place is very nice and has a panoramic view of the hills. The restaurant and service are excellent.

A beautiful location surrounded by greenery. Tables are available on the terrace, inside, or under the portico. Everything has been beautifully restored and meticulously maintained, with views of the hills. Lunch for two during a detour to visit a winery on our way back from a short vacation in Croatia. We had been there a few times before, but under this new management, we noticed a further improvement. Excellent ingredients, gourmet preparation and presentation, fast, precise, and attentive yet unobtrusive service. A remarkable selection of wine pairings. A small entrée included herb butter and homemade bread. We had two appetizers: cream of asparagus with a fried egg and crispy speck flakes, and a grilled brioche with marinated salmon and herb sauce. We then continued, one with a Friulian dish, cjarsons, and the other with white and green asparagus with an egg foam and a hint of crunch. We finished with two desserts: a crispy wonton filled with ricotta, topped with orange zest, and cinnamon-sautéed apple cubes. The other, a bonet with semi-whipped cream and caramelized popcorn. Finished with a caffè corretto (Italian espresso) and a biscotti. Everything was exceptional, expertly prepared. Excellent value. We'll be back soon. Highly recommended.

The aperitif with prosciutto breadsticks was excellent, and the Tenuta Stella Friulian wine was very good. We also stopped for dinner. I informed the staff of my lactose intolerance, and they were very accommodating with various options. I had risotto with asparagus and speck, which was truly excellent. They also had lactose-free desserts, but I was full. I'll definitely be back.

A business lunch with a local client, recommended and booked by him. The location is fantastic, in the Collio area, passing through beautiful villages nestled in vineyards on the way from Piacenza, with a fantastic view just a few kilometers from Slovenia. We ate traditional local dishes, starting with a stellar San Daniele. Special mention for the local wine, a superb Ribolla Gialla.

This place always lives up to expectations. The perfect location for a romantic evening immersed in a beautiful atmosphere. The service is always impeccable and helpful. The dishes are always refined and beautifully presented. The quality/price ratio exceeds expectations.

A great spot for a relaxing break with the opportunity to enjoy a glass of excellent wine and delicious appetizers. A great place to sleep and wake up in a magnificent setting.
