Osteria Al Cappello In Palmanova

Wandering around Palmanova, we found this charming little restaurant. The food was excellent, the cod Vicenza-style was fantastic, the tartare was excellent, and of course, the prosciutto crudo. The wines were EXCELLENT. The lady was very helpful in offering recommendations and, understanding our tastes, made us feel at home.

I almost never leave reviews, but here I have to. Excellent in every way, top-notch cuisine, generous and delicious dishes, excellent service. Highly recommended.

Excellent value for money. Typical Friulian cuisine with traditional flavors, just like my grandmother's cooking. I recommend it.

We stopped for a quick lunch without a reservation. Even though they were busy, they found us a seat, and we had tripe, frico, and San Daniele prosciutto. Everything was delicious!!!

This osteria is a MUST-visit if you want to meet normal people in Palmanova! Cozy, down-to-earth, and authentic. We'll be back. ...and we've been back!
