15/12/2024: Nice and clean restaurant, from my point of view the service was very very slow, we ate gnocco and tigelle, decent tigelle, very greasy dumpling, good cold cuts. The fact is that the tigelle arrived and there was no cold cuts, the cold cuts arrived and there were no tigelle, we always had to ask to bring something and when we asked that there was clearly no food they seemed amazed, so the service left something to be desired, Fair enough value for money, then as I always say what you spend always depends on what you drink, what leaves me a little perplexed is that since it was a dinner already organized for a birthday where there were only us in the restaurant that evening ( about twenty people with menus already decided) we waited so long I don't want to think even when there are other people. Let's say that a bad evening can happen to anyone so seeing is believing. However, the restaurant also has a large, very convenient car park.

02/12/2024: Unfortunately I have to say that I didn't like it at all as a place but above all as food. I took a fish starter but it was rubbery and smelled as if they had been pickled, without taste. The stria had too acidic tomatoes, in short nothing good.I will definitely not go back. I am sorry....

17/11/2024: Passed by yesterday evening, simple rustic environment, clean and tidy even the bathrooms, punctual and kind service, but a little long waiting times. Discreet appetizers like pizza. Quality, price is right...

31/07/2024: Cena a base di gnocco e tigelle. Gnocco nella norma con pezzi piccoli, tigelle indecenti. Il tutto incastonato in menu con i pezzi contati. Salume senza infamia e senza lode. Eravamo in 5 e 3 hanno preso il dolce. Vino in caraffa. Il tutto per la modica cifra di 35€ a testa! Non male....

30/07/2024: Stopped for lunch, 1.15pm, many tables already left empty by those who had already had lunch. I ask for a table but they send me away saying that "they don't do table rotations". That is, they prefer to send a customer away rather than clean and set a table. At the checkout there was another customer who was paying the bill and who I had just seen get up from the table. Inconceivable and never happened in 25 years of business trips where I had lunch in half of Italy. Absurd.

26/11/2024: Excellent food, try the udon and the chicken with potatoes. The only thing I would do is give the place a freshen up..

04/11/2024: As for the quality of the food, I preferred the old management, now everything is much greasier and the flavor isn't exactly the best. Being close to home sometimes I would get something but now, given the times, they have further increased the prices, if before I spent around 15 - 17 euros, now we are around 25 - 28, I have stopped going.

14/07/2024: Ok food and service but I think we were overcharged. For a very basic 1 starter, 1 vegetarian pasta, 1 main (these 3 dishes were shared between 2 of us), 2 ice creams and 2 coffees we paid 60€ without a breakdown of the price. The main was a cottoleta Milanese which had almost no chicken in it. Non transparent pricing.

05/11/2024: Prices beyond all logic. On the menu it says that the burgers come with a side dish of your choice, including baked potatoes, but then they add a surcharge. The cover charge is pointless since you are eating on a paper placemat. The changes to the menu are also inexplicable, they didn't make me add an ingredient to the sandwich, but at the next table they did. €12 for frozen meat, pan-fried pizza that couldn't be any poorer. Arrogance and rudeness but they are free, but on the other hand this can also be seen from the owner's responses to the reviews.

14/12/2024: High quality dishes, the tortellini in broth are excellent, the service is excellent and also the attention at the table. The price in my opinion is too high.

08/12/2024: Near the central station after the overpass there is this place, possibility of parking nearby. The entrance is welcoming and warm with well-kept vintage furniture. I was with my family and an acquaintance and we immediately felt at home due to the welcome shown by the staff and the owner. We started with a minimal appetizer, to focus on the important courses. Pickles made by them as well as stuffed chillies to try followed by some cured meats and then off with tortellini in broth and the latter was an immediate winner. If you had doubts about capon or meat, well in this restaurant they serve capon broth! For the boiled meats, the chef arrives with a huge trolley and makes you choose the pieces of meat with the side dishes. Truly noteworthy. For desserts we received exquisite homemade amaretti biscuits and an almond semifreddo and trifle, we are on average in quality. We were alone in the restaurant with the owner waiting for us at the cash register but at no time did we feel pressured by the 11.30pm time slot. Definitely coming back! Well done

16/12/2024: Despite the rain, the restaurant immediately proved to be welcoming and warm thanks to the fireplace in the room. I ordered the tagliatelle al torchio with culatello and was surprised by the small amount of pasta. I had the impression that it was just a taste. Usually I'm full with a first course, but I also ordered pork fillet in a ham crust. The meat was a little too dry for my taste, but all in all both the first and second courses were good. It's a normal restaurant, prices a little high for the quantities.

04/11/2024: Beautiful place, nestled in the hills of Modena, breathtaking view on the terrace and top hospitality with welcome aperitif, but there is a but... I paid 93 euros for 2 For 1 starter, 2 first courses, 1 bottle of Lambrusco, 1 second course and 1 dessert...and what do I remember? The dessert and the starter with gnocco stracciato were really excellent Really a bit little for the amount spent....so I would say good food but within the norm....for this amount I should eat better than at home....anyway good experience....recommended knowing that it is a little over the top in terms of price.....

01/08/2024: Pleasant place in terms of aesthetics and well-managed spaces. Very uncomfortable chairs. Food average for places of this type, prices slightly above (and even in the evening some courses require a surcharge compared to the buffet menu). Some dishes that you usually find are missing (for example soups, skewers, some types of ravioli, rolls). The sushi courses are unfortunately characterized by an excess of sauces and condiments that do not let the fish stand out. The "kitchen" dishes, on the other hand, are discreet, but lightly seasoned and a little anonymous. Rough, slow and awkward service. Furthermore, the dishes arrive in random order and even after a long time from the order. The ordering system via smartphone is convenient and effective.
