17/05/2025: I finally did it: I had been meaning to have dinner at one of the various restaurants located in via delle Volte for a long time (naturally after a nice walk 🚶🏻‍♂️ there) and, just one Sunday some time ago, the right opportunity presented itself. As soon as we entered, we were cordially welcomed by the waitress 👩🏻 who led us into the room; we then took a look 👀 around choosing the table at the back in the corner (very intimate and private). Browsing the menu 📋 we were pleasantly surprised by the good variety of options, all of which were also relevant to the renowned local culinary tradition. In the end we opted for an appetizer based on radicchio, pancetta 🥓 and hot balsamic vinegar (truly special in taste and delicacy), cappellacci with pumpkin 🎃 and salama da sugo with mashed potatoes 🥔. All valid without a shadow of a doubt, also in the face of a quality service 👌. The only criticism I feel like making concerns the wine: we had only ordered two glasses of still red wine 🍷 (choosing a good Fortana but, when it came to paying the bill at the cashier, we discovered that we had been charged for the entire bottle (which was still opened in front of us at the table, I stress). At that point we were told that the "by the glass" service was not provided, but that we could easily take the bottle home (and so we did). I think it was simply a misunderstanding, a trivial lack of understanding perhaps, however I continue to be a bit perplexed (not to mention that, to return to the car 🚘, we had to cross 🚶🏻‍♂️ the center of Ferrara with the bottle in our hands like two drunkards 🙄). Honest prices and a very characteristic place, especially with regards to the theming and attention to detail in the furnishings. I give the fifth star ⭐ in this review 📝 since anyway we had a great time, but I invite the owners to carefully consider what was mentioned above. RECOMMENDED 👍. 12/05/2025: Pleasant experience in a historic place a few meters from the Trepponti, great attention to detail starting from the bread baskets inside a can of marinated eel. The menu features traditional Comacchio dishes and classic fish dishes. The service is professional and the waiting times are very short. Very good food! I recommend the tagliolini with eel and the mixed fried food. Excellent quality/price ratio, for an appetizer, two first courses, a second course and wine we spent just under €40 each.

31/03/2025: Last night I had the pleasure of dining here with my girlfriend and the experience was truly excellent. We started with a portion of French fries, crispy, dry (no oil) and served in generous quantities, perfect for starting dinner. We had two pizzas, I chose a seafood with vegetables: very good, but next time I will have it without peppers, which did not go, in my opinion, perfectly with the rest. My girlfriend, on the other hand, tried a pizza with raw ham, figs and mascarpone, and was thrilled with the balance between sweet and salty, a contrast that made each bite unique. To end the evening on a sweet note, we chose two desserts: a nougat with Amaro del Capo, an unexpected and delicious combination that we had never found elsewhere, and a classic zuppa inglese, also very good. The service was attentive and courteous, the atmosphere welcoming and the quality-price ratio was definitely excellent. We will definitely be back! The only advice I would give is to update social media, perhaps adding the online menu, so you can easily choose a pizza for takeaway. Highly recommended!

29/05/2025: Returned after some time to "pamper" my wife, in my opinion he lost the charm of a "family" relationship by looking for gourmet dishes. I got up not full ... too bad.

25/05/2025: We were for the first time in this splendid location, surrounded by greenery We ate well, a pre-set menu that we found delicious, what was missing was the empathy... perceived by all the guests and the rush to bring to the table... a "cold and due" kindness, a real shame.

25/05/2025: Very nice and well-kept place. All you can eat formula excellent and with honest prices. The method of collecting orders is a bit inconvenient as you can connect with only one phone per table. Fresh food and really everything excellent. Recommended!
