25/07/2025: Aufgrund zahlreicher sehr guter Bewertungen haben wir uns für einen Besuch bei Orsucci da Amando dal 1936 entschieden – in der Hoffnung auf eine authentische Pizza-Erfahrung, zumal das Lokal mit Tradition in vierter Generation wirbt. Leider können wir die Begeisterung vieler nicht nachvollziehen. Das Konzept, nur zwei Pizzen anzubieten, ist absolut legitim. Auch das eher schlicht gehaltene Interieur ist Geschmackssache und grundsätzlich kein Problem. Was jedoch auf dem Teller landet, steht aus unserer Sicht in keinem Verhältnis zur Tradition, die hier kommuniziert wird. Der Pizzateig war weder fluffig noch luftig, sondern zäh und am Rand regelrecht hart. In der Mitte hingegen war die Pizza kaum durchgebacken. Eine typische neapolitanische Pizza sollte genau das Gegenteil verkörpern: weich, aromatisch und mit einem charakteristischen Rand. Auch grundlegende Elemente wie Basilikum oder Parmesan fehlten völlig. Eine Variation mit Sardellen mag kreativ sein, ersetzt aber nicht die Basis einer authentischen Zubereitung. Die Pizza ließ sich nicht typisch italienisch falten und essen, da sie durch ihre Beschaffenheit sofort zerbrach. Auf meine zurückhaltend kritische Rückmeldung – ein schlichtes “okay” mit entsprechendem Gesichtsausdruck – reagierte der Betreiber leider nicht mit Gesprächsbereitschaft, sondern drehte sich kommentarlos weg. Das fanden wir schade, denn ein offenes Wort hätte vielleicht zu einem konstruktiven Austausch geführt. Positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass die Qualität der Zutaten in Ordnung war. Das Grundhandwerk und die Umsetzung jedoch lassen aus unserer Sicht stark zu wünschen übrig. Wenn man für sich beansprucht, Pizza in vierter Generation zu backen, sollte man entweder das Handwerk beherrschen oder sich gegebenenfalls noch einmal von der neapolitanischen Schule inspirieren lassen. In Summe bleibt bei uns der Eindruck: viel Tradition auf dem Papier, aber leider wenig Substanz auf dem Teller. Daher sehen wir uns leider gezwungen, nur einen Stern zu vergeben.

25/07/2025: Very friendly and fast, and the pizza is as good as Orsucci's in Padua (his cousin Marco is great), where I live. But here in Ferrara, I had the pleasant surprise of the chickpea farinata, which I adore, and theirs is masterfully made. WELL DONE! I can't wait to go back.

07/07/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and everything was perfect. Fast and impeccable service, good food (special mention to the pumpkin cappellacci and the tenerina cake), excellent price. Also appreciated is the welcome towards pets. Recommended

22/06/2025: Perfect place for an evening with friends or as a couple. The outdoor area is welcoming and perfect if you want to dine with your dog. Very good and quality food, served in generous portions. Fusilloni and mixed gratin to die for. Super plus: the service. Annalisa SUPERLATIVE: rare courtesy and professionalism!

22/07/2025: It's not on the menu, but they also have gluten-free pizza! Small but good (the burrata is amazing!!). But be careful: there's no dedicated oven, so there might be some cross-contamination!

19/05/2025: I was there yesterday to celebrate my son's communion, and it was all beautiful. Very helpful staff, excellent food, beautiful piano bar, the people who work there are really exquisite and also the entertainment they proposed to me is really excellent. Beautiful location well prepared and also the owner of the structure really kind and very helpful.

14/05/2025: We celebrated my mother's 60th birthday, everything was perfect!!! Location was neat, clean and staff were kind and professional, attentive to the needs of all guests. The food was plentiful, quality and varied. The piano bar and music were very nice and prepared. Thank you, thank you and thank you again to Mr. Giovanni for helping us and supporting us together with his collaborators in the success of my mother's party. What more can I say: try it and believe it! See you next time...

08/06/2025: Excellent ice cream! The lemon is just perfect, and the pistachio and raspberry are delicious... A wonderful discovery. Located facing the beach between Scacchi and Pomposa. We'll be back.

20/05/2025: Excellent Gelato. Personally I prefer it to the other ice cream shop. It has a slightly more normal consistency and I think it also has less cream added which makes it more digestible.

21/07/2025: Fantastica scoperta! Non ero mai stata in questo locale, ne avevo sempre sentito parlare dal mio ragazzo... passeggiando per Ferrara ci siamo ritrovati davanti al locale e perchè non provarlo? Siamo andati abbastanza sul presto (orario da aperitivo per intenderci) motivo per cui c'era quasi nessuno. Siamo stati accolti in modo molto cordiale e accompagnati al tavolo, ci è stato spiegato tutto bene nei minimi dettagli e poi ci è stato lasciato il tempo per poter decidere. Partiamo dal presupposto che le scelte sono letteralmente infinite... ce ne sono pre tutti i gusti ma, la cosa bella e che i panini sono piccini (non esageratamente il giusto) in modo che se ne possano provare di più (come concetto ho apprezzato molto). Abbiamo ordinato diversi gusti che poi ci siamo divisi giusto per provarne diversi. Devo dire che erano tutti buonissimi... anche quello dolce che abbiamo preso ci ha piacevolmente soddisfatto! I prezzi sono davvero competitivi. Bhe che dire, sicuramente ritorneremo! Complimenti per il format!!!

06/07/2025: I was there last night, I had already been there a couple of times in the past. The food was excellent, I always had pizza and it was always delicious, nothing to say, if you want a good pizza in Cento they do it well here. Last night our order didn't arrive after 40 minutes of ordering. We asked the waitress and she said it was because they were full and that it would arrive. I don't know about the other spaces, but there were free tables near us. At the end at a certain point after almost 50 minutes the male waiter looks at the table and passes by and says: "hasn't anything arrived yet?" Shortly after he comes back saying that there had been a mistake with our order, they would offer us dessert for the inconvenience and the pizza would arrive in a few minutes. About 5/10 minutes later it arrives, excellent pizza, we didn't order dessert because we were full, so they offered us drinks. Nothing to say about the quality of the food and the waiter who tried to fix the situation, but saying that it was full and not going to check what had happened was not positive.

04/07/2025: The staff is kind and friendly, the place needs a bit of renovation. The "pulled" pizza is very good, but its digestion was difficult. 18.30 euros for lunch with raw pizza, water and coffee: too much.
