E come il critico del famoso film di animazione Ratatouille si ritrova proiettato nella sua infanzia da un piatto « comune » che gli viene proposto dallo chef, così è capitato a me, una sera di marzo in questo angolo del Delta del Po. E, ripensandoci, è questo che cerco in una cena in famiglia: una cucina che si fa forte di tradizione, qualità e ingredienti locali, localissimi, che non potresti trovare altrove e forse nemmeno più in zona se non sapessi dove cercare, lavorati con sapienza antica, senza andare a ricercare effetti speciali e stranianti. E pazienza, se la piastrelle del pavimento si sono incrinate per i movimenti del fondo sabbioso e il piano così perfettamente orizzontale non è, quello che si trova nei piatti è in perfetta armonia con i luoghi e permette anche agli avventori di entrarci. Potremmo chiamarla: estasi.

06/04/2025: I can't tell you whether it's the friendliness and thirty years of experience of the owner (I could listen to him talk about meat and farming for hours), the absolute quality and flavor of the products (the meat comes from animals raised by him, at zero km), or the exaggeration of the quantities (fortunately a colleague had warned me and the starter for one, would have been enough for three), or the simple, warm, clean environment, without blowjobs, but it was a cathartic experience. I will definitely be back and as soon as possible. You absolutely have to try it. Word of a pimp.
