13/04/2025: I happened to be in Porto Garibaldi by chance, again by chance I have parking near the Bagno Roma restaurant bar, so since it was lunch time, I decided to stop for lunch in a place unknown to me. I had a great time at first glance, then I had a fish-based lunch, I would say delicious. I recommend it, for the good fish and the excellent service

05/04/2025: If you want to eat fish "seriously" this is the right place. Fresh and local raw materials (in Porto Garibaldi there are hundreds of fishing boats...), cooked in a simple way that does not cover the flavor of fish and shellfish. Generous portions. Today we ate (among other things) Maurizia's risotto and Daniele's fried fish ((fritto di paranza): amazing. The grilled eel is excellent. The environment is simple and tidy with a view of the beach and sea. The expense is adequate for the quality of the food. We were there for the second time and will return.

15/03/2025: The quality of the food is excellent and you pay for it. The courtesy of the service is not very convincing, a little forced. However always present. I recommend ordering à la carte and not agreeing on the menu to avoid unpleasant surprises.

19/09/2024: Great place, IMPECCABLE service!! A huge thank you to Gabriele who always welcomed us, served us with attention and speed even though it was the middle of August! Always with an attentive eye on the tables and available to find alternatives to satisfy the customer (my father-in-law wanted a fiordilatte ice cream with coffee but they didn't have ice cream and he brought him a coffee cream in a larger glass and poured it into the coffee! My father-in-law is super happy!). It's a shame we only discovered this place in our second and last week of stay, otherwise we would have come much more! Excellent food from raw to FIRST courses (risotto and seafood SPECIAL) to the super mixed grill which I had 4 evenings in a row, SPECIAL... too bad I didn't even have a photo!! Abundant dishes and prices in line with other restaurants nearby. Really super recommended, thanks for everything!

12/04/2025: Abbiamo mangiato la degustazione di pesce e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, sia per la particolarità dei piatti e della preparazione, che soprattutto del gusto; porzioni giuste e ben servite. Per essere la nostra prima volta, siamo rimasti molto contenti, anche per il servizio: ragazza molto cordiale, gentile e preparata e sempre attenta alle nostre esigenze. Prezzo della cena appropriato alla qualità e quantità dei piatti. Noi ci torneremo.

12/04/2025: Cena con famiglia e amici. Prenotato per 5. Tavolo apparecchiato per 4 poi con aggiunta di un posto molto velocemente. Locale intimo, silenzioso e romantico forse non per amici che fanno baldoria. Antipasto di pesce buono. Carne e verdure grigliate riferite dagli amici buone. Patate al forno salatissime (le ho fatte assaggiare ai componenti del tavolo pensando fosse un mio gusto, ma di fatto non erano mangiabili). La ragazza che seguiva il tavolo si è offerta di portare altro, e ha portato via la pietanza rimanente, scusandosi (di fatto portata pagata ma non fa nulla). Dolci non assaggiati e caffè ottimo. Vino solo in bottiglia o calice, non per chi non è ferrato in vini come me. Comunque soddisfatti.

18/11/2024: The best trattoria in Ferrara. Here I ate the best pumpkin cappellacci in Ferrara (sweet and savory as they should be). They still make "timballo" (baked pasta filled with cappelletti) which you can't find anywhere now. Salamis sauce with mashed potatoes just as it should be. We are all waiting and "hoping" that it reopens unfortunately without the presence of Arnaldo, a true "Oste" like you can no longer find. The other restaurants with the excuse of "gourmet" offer you the usual traditional dishes with sometimes ridiculously small portions. The authenticity and simplicity of the true cuisine that we were still lucky enough to find here has been lost.

07/03/2025: We went for lunch....the place was empty and we paid 14 euros for a plate with 7 cappellacci...good but 2 euros per cappellacci is a bit much....

Trascurato e scarsa pulizia, la macchina del caffè e la postazione in generale era sporca La barista credo la figlia della titolare molto presuntuosa e scortese, sia verso i clienti che verso le dipendenti In 4 dietro il banco e si correvano dietro l'una con l'altra, mentre noi clienti aspettavamo .... anche NO!
