12/05/2026: We had lunch after visiting the exhibition at Palazzo dei Diamanti, which is a short walk away. The welcome was courteous and professional, but not "stiff," and the menu was informative. The food was typical Ferrarese, tasty, and plentiful. The atmosphere was beautiful, with the option of a pleasant outdoor seating area. I recommend it. The price was fair.

17/05/2026: We found all the dishes very good and authentic. We had non-Italian guests who greatly appreciated the Ferrarese dishes. The staff was very kind and attentive. If I may make a comment, I find it inappropriate to broadcast music videos (obviously randomly played on private radio stations) that harm the image of women, and since there were many children present, I believe we should take care of what they see for the future of everyone. Thank you.
10/05/2026: I went to this place on a Saturday night because they introduced gluten-free pizza. The gluten-free pizza was almost inedible. I had an anchovy pizza for €18, and that was nothing special either. The tables were so small you couldn't eat. I don't recommend it.

05/05/2026: Wide selection of beers, tasty sandwiches. Management has changed, but the place has remained largely unchanged. One negative observation is that we went on a weekday evening, at 8:00 PM without a reservation. They only offered us a "perch" in front of the register, which is fine if you show up at 10:00 PM on a Saturday night, but not at any other time or day with new customers.
02/05/2026: If you're in Ferrara and don't stop by Wilson's, you're missing out. Without a doubt, it's the best pub in Ferrara! The staff are simply fantastic: always smiling and super helpful. They have a huge selection of beers, perfect for those who love to experiment. And the sandwiches? Probably the best I've ever had in my life, so good they don't seem like a simple sandwich, but a true Michelin-starred dish. Special mention goes to the owner, a truly talented man who will go far, his passion, and his authenticity. If you're looking for the best, come here.

21/03/2026: Roxy's Vertigo Cocktail Bar is a lovely spot near the Porto Garibaldi waterfront, where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast or an excellent aperitif, served with a generous plate of appetizers for a reasonable price. The owner is very professional and friendly. I'll definitely be back for an aperitif when I'm in the area.

10/05/2026: The grilled fish plate did not look like grilled. The waitress said it came out of the oven... Well? The guy where we paid claimed it was grilled and the other waitress would not know...
Also the portion was small for 30€. And again: not really delicious. Only the Gnochie were good.
Also no customer friendly service with our issue.
04/05/2026: They were kind enough to make me spaghetti with mussels, and generally friendly.
We had two starters, both good.
I found the price a little excessive, especially the €3.50 cover charge, considering three pieces of bread for two (which I had to remember) and dirty plates that left a ring of squid ink (I imagine) on the tablecloth.
I spent €42 (spaghetti with clams, spaghetti with mussels, 1 bottle of water, and tea), which I think is seasonal and local average. I found the pasta a little salty, but that's a matter of personal taste. I wouldn't go back, but I wouldn't discourage it either.
