04/04/2026: One of the very few real bakeries left in Ferrara. A real baker in the workshop and staff behind the counter who cares for you. If you want someone who can get you out quickly without providing any service, go to one of the many photocopy shops that have filled Ferrara. In 3 minutes you're out. And after 5, use the pizza to scrape the stovetop... away with the Ferrarese white art made with love. ❤️

19/03/2026: Loved this friendly bar. Free nibbles, a great selection of beers, decent wines and welcoming staff and customers. We came for one drink and stayed all night.

06/01/2026: I only went into the restaurant to ask for information and confirmation about the menu, as I had already looked it up online. Contrary to what is written on their menu, they do NOT serve gluten-free sandwiches, piadinas, or bruschetta. This was disappointing, as I had found the restaurant listed on a gluten-free restaurant website. So, no one with celiac disease can eat here!

10/10/2025: We celebrated my daughter Martina's graduation last September 19th. We're not from the area, but we arranged everything with the owner over the phone, and she was truly wonderful and helpful. It was a wonderful party because you can get there in a flash from the Cona educational center. There were 3 graduations, but everyone had their own space, and there were 20 of us. For the aperitif, nothing was missing; in fact, there was plenty of everything. The appetizers were very good, and the staff and owner were friendly and very helpful. Excellent value for money. I really recommend it, we had a great time!!

06/06/2026: This pastry shop disappointed me. I had high expectations, but it was nothing special. The tenerina isn't the best in town. They also charged me for a glass of water after I'd ordered it. As a Southerner, that's unacceptable.

05/06/2026: Great selection of delicious items. Very attentive and friendly staff. I was asked whether I wanted my Americano as a diluted espresso or filter coffee. The diluted espresso was the most delicious coffee I've had in a long time. Thank you!

12/09/2025: Having traveled throughout Italy for work, I've had the opportunity to visit many grocery stores and butchers, including the very famous CECCHINI in Panzano. I can confidently say that MACELLERIA RIZZIERI IS ONE OF THE BEST BUTCHER SHOPS IN ITALY. The wide selection of meats and their quality, the result of rigorous control of the supply chain, exercised by Rizzieri from the birth of the animals, to the rigorous feeding, to the environment in which the animals must live to ensure their health, etc., are among the qualities that make up their superb meats. The cured meats are also excellent, especially the RIZZIERI ham, and the various roast rolls and carefully selected cheeses are excellent. In the shop you can also find many other delicacies, from jams to pasta to chocolates, etc. It is a place of excellence that absolutely must be frequented!!!

28/08/2025: The meat is excellent and their dishes, such as asado, BBQ ribs, etc., are also fabulous. A real guarantee.

29/04/2026: They welcomed us to a table of 25, including chaperones and members of a BaskIn team, having called half an hour earlier. It was a Sunday in April and it was already 1 p.m. This isn't a given, not at all; they were truly patient and accommodated us, letting us celebrate well past the usual closing time. They accommodated both small and large needs: splendid service. Splendid food! Truly generous dishes, a menu with a decent number of choices, and all the combinations were sophisticated. Ferrarese tradition is respected with pumpkin tortelli, slightly wide but delicious tagliatelle with ragù or mushrooms, and the fried fish and grilled fish are also excellent. Outstanding desserts to round it all off, with the babbà taking the cake. I'll definitely return, perhaps more slowly, without the wild crew, but we had a wonderful time. The à la carte menu is mid-range in terms of price, fully justified by the quality of the fish and the generous portions. Highly recommended.

28/04/2026: Friendly and professional staff. The spaghetti allo scoglio was very good: fresh seafood, perfectly cooked pasta, and a flavorful sauce that made us mop up the sauce with bread. Well done!

01/01/2026: We went to New Year's Eve dinner, paying €100 each, and were served six "appetizers," of which only one was a good one. For starters, they brought gnocchi that fell apart on their own and ravioli that were nauseating... the main courses were good, but the desserts were nothing special. The staff was friendly, although there's a lot of room for improvement.

01/01/2026: Terrible experience, at the New Year's Eve dinner paid €100 per person, they served us 6 unspeakable appetizers except for maybe 1, moreover my girlfriend felt sick after the appetizers, there were some gnocchi that broke when touched and some ravioli that were passed off as butter and sage when inside there was a cheese that now I don't remember the name, the second courses were good but the dessert with a nauseating semifreddo and the panettone good.

20/12/2025: Expectations were confirmed: the pizza was soft, well-leavened, and easy to digest; the combinations of ingredients were interesting. Delicious! Definitely worth trying again. Less appreciable, however, was the staff's repeated insistence on reminding us, on several occasions, that we had to leave the table at 9:30 PM. Prices were generally reasonable, with the exception of the pizza of the month, which seemed excessive and, moreover, wasn't explicitly stated on the menu or even mentioned verbally by the wait staff.

08/06/2026: A lovely restaurant near Lido degli Scacchi. The atmosphere is refined and the service is prompt and courteous. The selection of dishes is good and the food is of good quality. Excellent value for money.

22/02/2026: Excellent bar, opposite the university (Via Mortara, behind Mammuth). Wide selection of lunch options, including homemade pasta dishes. Excellent prices. Highly recommended!

17/05/2026: We found all the dishes very good and authentic. We had non-Italian guests who greatly appreciated the Ferrarese dishes. The staff was very kind and attentive. If I may make a comment, I find it inappropriate to broadcast music videos (obviously randomly played on private radio stations) that harm the image of women, and since there were many children present, I believe we should take care of what they see for the future of everyone. Thank you.

10/05/2026: I went to this place on a Saturday night because they introduced gluten-free pizza. The gluten-free pizza was almost inedible. I had an anchovy pizza for €18, and that was nothing special either. The tables were so small you couldn't eat. I don't recommend it.
