The typical local food is excellent! And the beer is superb! The quality is simply top-notch! The atmosphere is refined and typical of a local brewery. "Family" is the perfect word! The staff is polite, friendly, and helpful!

04/05/2026: They were kind enough to make me spaghetti with mussels, and generally friendly. We had two starters, both good. I found the price a little excessive, especially the €3.50 cover charge, considering three pieces of bread for two (which I had to remember) and dirty plates that left a ring of squid ink (I imagine) on the tablecloth. I spent €42 (spaghetti with clams, spaghetti with mussels, 1 bottle of water, and tea), which I think is seasonal and local average. I found the pasta a little salty, but that's a matter of personal taste. I wouldn't go back, but I wouldn't discourage it either.
02/05/2026: Excellent welcome and service, truly good food. I recommend the eel with polenta. Prices are reasonable.

16/05/2026: And always a certainty, carefully prepared traditional Ferrarese dishes, the best Italian mixed fried food ever!
12/05/2026: We had lunch after visiting the exhibition at Palazzo dei Diamanti, which is a short walk away. The welcome was courteous and professional, but not "stiff," and the menu was informative. The food was typical Ferrarese, tasty, and plentiful. The atmosphere was beautiful, with the option of a pleasant outdoor seating area. I recommend it. The price was fair.
