17/03/2025: Zazie has now become my favorite place here in Ferrara. Every day there are different and original dishes, vegetarian and vegan, including soups, meatballs, bowls, and rice or couscous salads (the masala rice is delicious!), already ready in very convenient single portions to eat there, take to the office or home for a dinner saver! Another stratospheric thing are the fruit and vegetable juicers, refreshing and not at all banal! The desserts and yoghurts to garnish as you like are also delicious! In short, if you want a healthy but tasty lunch break, Zazie is the answer!!!

06/02/2025: Very particular place with a scent of vegetables, fruit and ginger that takes you to India for a moment. It's a shame for the lady behind the counter... not very empathetic, cold, I ask for a salad, she suggests radicchio, carrot and fennel which are good for goodness sake but I had to ask if she could add a protein, she offers me a spoonful of chickpeas, I had to ask for the water at the end of lunch. A little information for the staff: in the modern age when you request a salad, the most varied protein, vegetable and carbohydrate components are usually proposed, so as to have the complete meal, not the proposal as a side dish for the medium-cooked cut.... Another thing, remember that if you have a job it is for the people who come in and buy what the owner has created with the business in which you provide services, so the aim is to sell, smile, greet and create a minimum feeling with the customer if you don't want to close. S O S for the owner, from director to owner I tell you to take action, I wasn't the only one to notice it... P E S S I M A E S P E R I E N C A, but not for the location but for the human component

24/03/2025: I had already been for a coffee today I had a spritz at Select, well done served with appetizers. Cozy place, family atmosphere, you feel at home. Owners and other staff friendly and professional. Honest prices and excellent service, wide choice of snacks, wines etc. The next time I come to Ferrara I will definitely come back and I invite you to try it. Top!

18/03/2025: La Cambusa is one of those places that seem small but have a gigantic soul. It's one of my favorite places in Ferrara, and if you've been there, you know why. If you've never been there... well, what are you waiting for? Here you can eat mouth-watering burgers, sandwiches and finger food, but the real specialty of the house - even if no one has ever officially declared it - are the crab claws. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and with an irresistible I-know-what: they probably hide a secret ingredient, or it's just pure magic. La Cambusa is also the perfect place for those who love conviviality. Given its size (or rather, its “smallness”), making friends is practically inevitable. You sit down to eat and after five minutes you have already exchanged jokes with someone. Here you enter as customers and leave as evening companions. If you are looking for an authentic, informal place with street food done properly, La Cambusa is an obligatory stop in Ferrara. Oh, and don't forget to order the crab claws. I'm not saying that they are the real reason (besides Paolo, the steward) why this place exists... but almost.

17/01/2025: Very small and intimate place...a real GALLEY in fact, where you feel at home even the first time you set foot in it. This is what happened to us. Paolo's friendliness, kindness and thoughtfulness. Rare gem nowadays.

05/04/2025: Warning, this pizzeria is NOT suitable for people allergic to PEANUTS. The dough of all pizzas contains peanut oil!!! Risk of anaphylactic shock!!! This is not normal in a common pizza.

15/03/2025: Unfortunately, a negative experience, even though I had already trusted them, this time they really did everything wrong. I ask to make me a cake for my birthday, sending an example photo, and specifying verbally to the girl that there shouldn't have been flowers in the cake, that I would have taken them later, because the cake had to be empty in the center since there was a writing on it, and this was also specified in the chat, sending the writing, the font, and the way in which it had to be done. Unfortunately they did the complete opposite, placing the flowers and not writing on the cake because apparently the girl who took my order "didn't write" this detail. I was offered a discount on the flowers from the price of the cake over the phone, which unfortunately was not done. In addition to a "frosting" all over the cake (which had to be only on the edges because there should have been writing in the center) which hardened making it impossible to cut and consequently the cake completely crumbled. I paid in full for a cake that was completely different from what I wanted, without receiving any discount that I had been told, and in the total indifference of the pastry shop.

05/03/2025: My favorite coffee shop in Ferrara! The staff is always very polite and attentive, even when they don't speak Italian very well. The ladies are always friendly. The brioche is very tasty and well-filled. I can't wait to have my breakfast at Chocolat again ❤️
