11/08/2025: I don't know if it was by chance or if it's always like this, but I liked the fact that there were few people in the restaurant, which meant less confusion and a peaceful atmosphere where the atmosphere became intimate and relaxing, all accompanied by simple but excellent food. It was truly a wonderful experience in every way! Hoping to find the same atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

16/08/2025: When we come to the beach, it's the first place we stop upon arriving in Portogaribaldi. We have a great breakfast here; the croissants are AMAZING, especially the mandarin one, which is my favorite. The girls are very kind and helpful.

15/09/2025: I used to come to this beach resort about 50 years ago (I'm 58 now) with my family when it was called Bagno Bar Sport, and we always had a great time. In those days, Lido di Spina held a certain magic for both young and old, even for me as a child. I don't think much of that magic remains these days, especially since I haven't been to Lido di Spina for a few decades. Times have changed, like everything else, but those were happy, carefree years.

14/10/2025: We had a great time on Sunday, October 12th, celebrating our birthday. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by this establishment, perfect for lunches and dinners with friends. The cured meats with pinzini and piadina were delicious, as was the Ferrarese tradition of caplaz, grilled meat left over from when we were full. I hope to return soon, guys.

13/10/2025: In response to the owner: Right, the cured meats, pinzino, and piada were tasty and good. The fact remains that cappellacci, if they only taste of nutmeg and don't taste of pumpkin, are terrible cappellacci. As for the tagliata, I'm not criticizing the well-done ones to satisfy all tastes, but I reiterate that the meat, depending on the degree of doneness, needs to be cooked properly, and the one served "rare" was without the maillard and therefore as if it were boiled. The fact remains that €40 (I had omitted the price out of habit) for what we ate and its relative quality, in my opinion, is too much. We went to this place for a friends' party. I have a lot of experience, but I think I've rarely eaten such a bad meal, in my opinion. We started with a savory aperitif, which was actually well-packaged and delicious. Then at least two hours passed before the first course, consisting of cappellacci with ragout and butter and sage: the cappellacci were truly awful, so much so that you couldn't taste the pumpkin, completely covered in the nutmeg flavor (perhaps not a coincidence), the ragout was completely tasteless, and the ones with butter and sage... well, those weren't even seen or tasted because they were declared sold out. Then the meat arrived: regular grilled coppa and beef tagliata, which actually tasted good, but either completely overcooked or undercooked but lacking the "Maillard" flavor, so boiled. The vegetables? They served so-called spinach that had nothing to do with spinach: tough, practically just stems and tasteless. The "house" red wine was horrible, truly undrinkable, so much so that it was left at all the tables; we swapped it for a bottle of ripasso (this time it was good). And all this for a truly excessive price! Personally, never again.

04/12/2025: I have to be honest, I was hesitant at first... but I changed my mind... truly digestible pizza with top-quality ingredients... excellent service, excellent beers... I recommend the pizza tour to everyone... served with taste and logic... really good and super competitive price... I will definitely be back...

19/11/2025: Very nice place, but the service wasn't so great. We called to eat, but the owner gave us a very limited time to arrive, and we weren't the ones who made the decision. We had to hurry and then leave, so the owner, in short, didn't have the best personality. There was no one in the restaurant, and it was deserted. My family and I went in for a coffee, for nothing else. So I'm not judging the food, but the place was deserted, so maybe the food wasn't the best. I didn't eat because I got called from work for an emergency, so I couldn't eat. I went out, got a coffee, and then went to work. Initially, I wanted to eat, but I couldn't, and then I heard his way of doing things—giving us a limited time or telling us to hurry up.

01/11/2025: One of the best Neapolitan pizzas in Ferrara. They have a wide selection of ingredients, all of which are top-quality. I really enjoyed the appetizers (the montanare). They also have a good variety of desserts; in my case, the apple strudel and tiramisu were very good.

02/11/2025: A wonderful experience! We stopped by almost by chance, but we'll definitely be back. Parking is right in the courtyard. A thoughtful menu, fantastic first courses, and more than adequate portions. I had no trouble finding vegetarian options. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the location is very tidy and clean. I recommend not skipping dessert!
