28/11/2025: After work, we went on a trip out of Florence and arrived at this restaurant later than expected for lunch. Despite the delay, the owners, a wonderful couple, seated us anyway. They prepared a sublime first course, delicious; the potatoes were also delicious, and the tiramisu the lady makes was excellent.
16/11/2025: Super delicious schiacciatina and a super friendly owner! I recommend the guy at the bar be a little more cheerful, because he works in a wonderful place: it would be worse in a Ukrainian mine!

29/10/2025: Today I'm writing a new review of my favorite restaurant for several reasons, delicious food, whether it's pizza, meat..... and desserts..... good price, excellent service, semi-family run, I often go to relax and enjoy a beautiful landscape and a nice evening, with my wife or friends, last time there were 4 of us, we wanted meat, but we wanted a mix, and I must say that the waiters, even though it was off the menu, they satisfied us, what more could you want?! Now I'm organizing a dinner with work colleagues, having in addition to the summer outside in the greenery, they have a large room and a smaller one inside, in fact I have celebrated various events there over the years, birthdays and family ceremonies with convenient packages, I highly recommend it!
26/10/2025: This is our second visit to the restaurant, and the food is very good, with attention to food intolerances. Depending on the season, you can also find fresh mushrooms.

19/11/2025: We were in Montecatini on the Saturday night of Lucca Comics and Games. We hadn't made a reservation for dinner, but after calling several places, we found availability here. We entered; the place was about 60% full. On the table, two of the four glasses were cracked. We asked a guy to change them, and he took them. No one brought the other two glasses. After 15 minutes, we asked another girl for them, and a few more minutes later, they arrived. We ordered an appetizer to share, the tagliere del corsaro. The vegetables were on top of the cured meats and cheeses, and the oil had run all over the bottom, resulting in all the cured meats tasting of oil. The pasta dishes were acceptable, and the baked potatoes were a side dish, arriving about 20 minutes after we'd finished the first courses. The potatoes cost €6 per portion; they were boiled, really poorly cooked, and there must have been 8-10 pieces per person. To top it all off, as we were leaving, we saw a waiter, who was new there, complaining to a colleague that since it was pointless, he was going home, having complained to the manager. The restaurant was half-empty on Saturday, November 1st, when everyone else was full. The food (except for the pasta, but messing up a pasta dish is almost impossible) was almost inedible, and the service was sub-par. Little else to comment on.

10/12/2025: I'd say awful... three adults were seated at a table in front of the door with a constant stream of people waiting their turn... we ordered a tagliata... stewed wild boar... and Sienese ossobuco... dessert and coffee, we opted for a coffee maker... the icing on the cake was the €97.00 bill with no receipt... what can I say!!!
09/12/2025: We're giving the food 3 stars because the meat was tender and the porcini mushrooms were flavorful. Otherwise, however, the execution of the dishes was disappointing: the tagliatelle were overcooked, the salad was truly sparse, and the bread seemed days old, not to mention it looked like it had already been passed around. The staff welcomed us, yes, but it was clear that the management was poorly coordinated. We waited a long time despite the waiters rushing around, not caring for their own tables. The atmosphere was also rather sad, and considering that neither the service nor the cuisine were up to par, we can only say we made a mistake in choosing to eat at Boccon del Prete.

It's an interesting approach, which can make dinner a pleasant social occasion for those seeking tradition and culinary stories. That said, our experience suffered at crucial points. The Florentine steak arrived cold, and even after asking to reheat it, it remained lukewarm: a detail that greatly impacts the enjoyment of the house's signature dish. The service was adequate but unwelcoming—not even a smile—and the place appears neglected and in need of some renovation and upkeep. Despite all this, the price is quite high. In short: good for tourists attracted by the atmosphere and the idea of ​​a shared table, less suitable for Italian customers who are passionate about food and dining culture and seek attention to detail, temperature of the dishes, and warm, personal service. With a few tweaks to cooking times, hospitality, and space, CocoLezzone could offer an experience worthy of its history.

04/08/2025: Fuldstændig fantastisk mad! Noget af det bedste hjemmelavet pasta, vi har fået i Italien. Så skøn, afslappende stemning og fantastisk betjening. Selvom vi havde vores 1-årige med, var der plads og overskud til det. De havde desværre kun åbent til frokost i weekenden, ellers havde vi været der flere dage i ugen!

10/11/2025: Osteria Bonanni is a Tuscan trattoria that focuses on traditional cuisine, serving typical dishes and a lively, almost boisterous atmosphere, in keeping with the style of old-fashioned osterias. The ambiance is pleasantly rustic, but unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by inefficient service. Orders are taken only by the owner, a decision that slows down the entire process and creates inevitable disruptions. In our case, we waited over an hour for our dishes to arrive, already halfway through our second bottle of wine—a wine list that, incidentally, wasn't even brought to our table. When the dishes finally arrived, the quality was inconsistent: the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, for example, was prepared with rehydrated dried mushrooms, not fresh ones, a disappointing feature for a cuisine that focuses on Tuscan tradition. Another sore point: the wine prices. The Chianti and Tuscan wines on the menu are significantly higher than the average for other restaurants in the area, even though they're the same labels. When we received the bill, we expressed disappointment, but the explanation we received—"It's Saturday, we're full"—doesn't justify the long waits and poor organization. In conclusion, Osteria Bonanni has interesting gastronomic potential and an authentic atmosphere, but the service and overall management aren't up to par. With more attention to detail and customer service, it could really make a difference.
