29/10/2025: Today I'm writing a new review of my favorite restaurant for several reasons, delicious food, whether it's pizza, meat..... and desserts..... good price, excellent service, semi-family run, I often go to relax and enjoy a beautiful landscape and a nice evening, with my wife or friends, last time there were 4 of us, we wanted meat, but we wanted a mix, and I must say that the waiters, even though it was off the menu, they satisfied us, what more could you want?! Now I'm organizing a dinner with work colleagues, having in addition to the summer outside in the greenery, they have a large room and a smaller one inside, in fact I have celebrated various events there over the years, birthdays and family ceremonies with convenient packages, I highly recommend it!
26/10/2025: This is our second visit to the restaurant, and the food is very good, with attention to food intolerances. Depending on the season, you can also find fresh mushrooms.

18/04/2026: All style, no substance.
The service was rude and dismissive from the start. I ordered a cheese omelette, there was barely any cheese in it. The salad was thrown on the plate completely dry, no vinaigrette, no effort. It came with a mini loaf of bread… and nothing else. No butter, no jam, just dry bread.
The €4.50 espresso showed up in a tea cup. Trying to be fancy, but the coffee itself was genuinely bad.
This place feels like it exists for photos, not for actual dining.
Save your money and keep walking.

Welcoming staff, excellent service. Quick service, relaxed atmosphere.
The house wine was very good, and the first course with wild boar ragù was delicious.
The wild boar was homemade.
And all this with a beautiful view of the square.
Highly recommended.

12/04/2026: We stopped at this restaurant during a motorcycle tour. It's a simple exterior, but the food is excellent.
The staff were friendly, and the platter and the "pastelli" were much appreciated. We'll be back.
04/04/2026: A delightful discovery! We had a delicious pizza for dinner and then discovered the delights of Ilenia's desserts. I personally recommend the sambuca tiramisu and the truly delicious cantucci. Ilenia welcomed us with extreme kindness and courtesy. We left with a huge supply of excellent cantucci. What can I say? Highly recommended! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

22/03/2026: Lovely team, very friendly and attentive.
The food unfortunately was not the best. Even the tiramisu was a disappointment. Not made in the traditional way. The La Reine biscuits were too crunchy. I wouldn't mind if the prices were low but you pay a lot for the lack of quality. Also felt unwell after dining there.
23/01/2026: We ate here last night. The atmosphere was very subdued, with soft lighting and pleasant background music. We had the artichoke flan, the pici cacio e pepe, the cheek with mashed potatoes, and two different desserts...all delicious! I didn't use a knife to eat the cheek... The prices were more than reasonable. All "topped off" by a very kind owner who had already brought water for our dog in no time... Highly recommended!!!!

13/03/2026: We ordered two tagliata with sides. The tagliata arrived after 10 minutes (so the timing is appreciable), but instead of receiving the whole slice of meat cut into large pieces, we received cold, roast beef-like slices. This circumstance didn't even make me appreciate the quality of the meat. The impression that they had been prepared a long time ago and not cooked specifically for us is very strong. I will definitely not return.
09/02/2026: The dishes would have been good, but unfortunately, everything had too much salt. What a shame...

20/01/2026: We ate at this place about two years ago. The food and atmosphere are very good. The service is also very fast and the price is fair. Even though Pienza is small, it's easily accessible because it's located at the entrance/exit of the historical part of town. We would definitely go back.
24/12/2025: From appetizer to dessert, everything was wonderful and delicious! The staff was attentive to detail and kind! Rita in the kitchen was the best! Highly recommended!

04/09/2025: I'd known the place for years but had never stopped in. Even though it wasn't on our agenda, we stopped in for a quick bite. We quickly learned it was under new management, managed by Albanians only a few months ago. The products looked inviting at first glance, and the schiacciata dough and pizza slices were good. We ordered two schiacciatas and three pizza slices, a small bottle of water, and a coffee for about €30. Definitely too much. The prices were high, and would have been justified if there had been table service, but instead they hand you a canteen-style tray and you go find a place to sit. I don't think I'll go back.

16/08/2025: A truly bizarre experience. Almost slapstick. Disastrous decor, virtually no service, and the staff couldn't have been more rude. Plastic plates, no wine glasses.
The buffet food was authentic and not bad at all, but certainly nothing special.

My daughter, one lunch and two dinners, didn't touch anything, she and her entire school.
But don't be ashamed, I say, but you know that behind those kids are parents.
I'll also report them to the agency that chose you and they'll hear from me.
Raw cutlet, pasta with cream.
But not even in prison do they make pasta with cream. 🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐 and I'll stop here.
29/03/2026: We stayed here for dinner, and it was particularly bad. The fries were served cold and the tiramisu came straight from a packet. I wonder if they even bother to put decent food on the table.

31/10/2025: We stayed at this campsite for 3 days, with a beautiful beach and wingfoiling on a 7m and 4.2m sail.
I recommend it.

07/03/2026: Too bad. Until recently, they told me it was a good restaurant, now... For God's sake. I have Spanish friends and I know how they eat in Spain, so I speak with knowledge of the facts. Let's start with the menu: it's okay that the concept may have been adapted, but in a Spanish restaurant I don't expect to find carbonara or pasta alla sorrentina among the first courses, so I think: "Is this a way to meet demand?" Then I continue browsing and find serious inconsistencies. Okay, I'll have something typical: polpo a la Gallega (Galician-style octopus, served with potatoes and pimenton - paprika -)... so four octopus tentacles on five slices of boiled potato with low-quality paprika thrown in by the bucketload. Not a drizzle of oil, not a pinch of salt. A bland dish, without identity, without flavor. To be honest, not even in a canteen does one eat so blandly (and not for free, mind you, €10 a portion). Okay, let's see the broken egg (an egg cooked a certain way, with prosciutto and sliced potatoes, as per the original recipe). A simple fried egg is brought with pre-fried potato sticks and three slices of prosciutto on top (also not cheap: €10). Okay, let's get down to the wine; a bottle of Ribolla, a white wine, was warm. Extra virgin olive oil from Carrefour. In short, for the price, I expected more, a more thoughtful and refined dish, but instead, it was a disappointment on all fronts. The ambiance would even be nice if it weren't for the pieces of sheet metal here and there, the dusty fake vegetation, and the decor that's meant to look radical chic but is actually a jumble of metal chairs and tables mixed with shoddy IKEA furniture.
Hasta luego... Never again.
22/02/2026: It was a lovely discovery in Empoli, near the station. The place is meticulously maintained and features sophisticated, trendy decor. Excellent for an aperitif with tapas.
