20/05/2025: In visita culturale a Pienza con Gruppo il Lions Club Soncino, abbiamo prenotato per tempo per 28 persone, ci è stata allestita una sala praticamente solo per noi, siamo stati accolti con il sorriso da parte di tutto il personale, simpaticissimi ed efficienti - predisposta tavolata a ferro di cavallo molto conviviale. Il Menù è stato concordato per un pranzo Light, in realtà pur avendo optato per una solo portata di carne "Tagliata di manzo ai 4 pepi con verdure grigliate" che ci è stata servita in dosi abbondanti con più passaggi, personalizzandola alle richieste di chi desiderava la stessa con o senza il pepe, chi l'ha preferita ben cotta piuttosto che al sangue.... insomma non ci sono stati problemi, sono stati carinissimi ed hanno esaudito tutte le richieste. Si è proseguito con il dolce Crostata con marmellata fatta in casa, davvero buona. Nota bene avevamo nel gruppo degli intolleranti ad alcuni alimenti ed una celiaca ed ed andato tutto bene senza alcun disturbo alimentare nei giorni a seguire. Tutti soddisfatti , consigliamo vivamente il Ristorante La piazzetta.

16/02/2026: Go for the tortellini in red sauce or cream, the ragu is also very good! The tiramisu was also very good. Additional they have some nice red wines by the glass, not a huge selection but good! Service si very fast even during lunch time and we found a table even when it was crowded. I would recommend to make a reservation though.

27/09/2025: Good food and good wine—that's what dinner should be like. And that's exactly what it was. The staff were very friendly, witty, and entertaining, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The selection of food and drinks was good, and everything was reasonably priced. The food was tasty, as was everything else. The decor is very pleasant, typically Italian and not too touristy. Perfect. A lovely, natural Italian restaurant with very good value for money.

25/04/2025: Tutto appena discreto e qualcosa meno. Vale per i piatti che abbiamo mangiato e anche per il servizio. I servizi igienici sono molto puliti ma bisogna fare una rampa di scale per arrivarci.

16/02/2026: One of the most beautiful places in florence. Esthetics everywhere: design, plates, atmosphere. It’s also a flower and home design shop. Coffee and brunches are great, the rest of the menu is nothing special. This time I took a salad with goat cheese and radish, was super simple and the radish was not good (looks like it was frozen and than got transparent and with no taste). The waiter was kind enough to bring me extra radish but it was still the same quality :(

29/10/2025: Today I'm writing a new review of my favorite restaurant for several reasons, delicious food, whether it's pizza, meat..... and desserts..... good price, excellent service, semi-family run, I often go to relax and enjoy a beautiful landscape and a nice evening, with my wife or friends, last time there were 4 of us, we wanted meat, but we wanted a mix, and I must say that the waiters, even though it was off the menu, they satisfied us, what more could you want?! Now I'm organizing a dinner with work colleagues, having in addition to the summer outside in the greenery, they have a large room and a smaller one inside, in fact I have celebrated various events there over the years, birthdays and family ceremonies with convenient packages, I highly recommend it!

26/10/2025: This is our second visit to the restaurant, and the food is very good, with attention to food intolerances. Depending on the season, you can also find fresh mushrooms.

17/01/2026: 🍷🇬🇧 Ristorante Da Loro is a magnificent place. The pasta dishes are exceptional: high-quality, well-seasoned, and above all, very generous. One of the best dishes I've tasted is the Ox, a true delight: beef wrapped in pancetta, flavorful and cooked to perfection, truly satisfying. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I've been going to this restaurant for years, and each time it confirms its quality. Highly recommended! 😉👌

09/01/2026: The owner welcomes us, he seems friendly, and we simply ask if they do the daily menu (for workers). There are two of us, so... two first courses, two second courses with side dishes, water and coffee, €16 each! Fresh, well-cooked food, really plentiful! The place is warm, simple, and welcoming. If I happen to be here again at lunchtime, I'll definitely stop by.

02/06/2025: Da fiorentino consiglio sicuramente questo locale con cucina tipica toscana di alta qualità e un servizio super simpatico. Prezzi ottimi in san Niccolò, quartiere storico fiorentino.

15/06/2025: Abbiamo chiamato ahimè, alle 13 per chiedere se fosse possibile un tavolo per le 13.30,il cameriere, giustamente ci ha detto che la cucina chiude alle 14,quindi abbiamo fatto il prima possibile ad arrivare in questa splendida location! All'arrivo ci hanno detto subito che il menù era quello scritto su un tabellone e di fare in fretta nelle scelte, rimembrando che la cucina stava per chiudere! Scegliamo in piedi ma, se volevano far veloce potevano anche darci la carta dei vini... Prendiamo: 1 tagliere Salumi e formaggi 1 gnocco 1raviolo(l'unica cosa positiva forse, dico forse perché alla pasta mancava qualche minuto ancora 1 tagliata al sangue ma servita media Partiamo dal tagliere, per 20 euro poco più o poco meno ti aspetti qualità o quantità ma a dire la verità qualità non mi sembrava tanto eccezionale e quantità non ne parliamo proprio che erano 2 fette di crudo, 2 di salame, 2 di coppa 3 tipi di Pecorini 1 triangolino a pecorino, che quasi non riuscivo a dividerlo con la mia ragazza Lo gnocco si attaccava al palato, cosa irritante ed il raviolo era quasi crudo, tutto ciò perché i cuochi dovevano andare a casa Li capisco, faccio lo stesso mestiere, ma ricordo loro che le persone pagano per andare a mangiare!! Fine delle 3 portate, ricordo noi arrivati alle 13.30 finite le 3 portate alle 14.11,nemmeno andassimo a prendere un aereo, il cameriere si butta subito dicendo :"Caffè?", anche se noi avevamo voglia di dolce abbiamo preferito non dare fastidio alla cucina! Quindi abbiamo detto di sì al caffè e senza nemmeno ascoltare il cameriere ho fatto scegliere a lui l'amaro,perché vedevo fretta La cosa che mi ha fatto più ridere, essendo cuoco, all'arrivo del caffè arriva un'allegra famigliola di 4 persone, li avete fatti accomodare e avete anche detto di sì alla pasta Gluten free del cliente! Quindi vorrei chiedervi, coerenza per i prossimi clienti e professionalità visto che comunque abbiamo pagato un bel conto anche se non ci è piaciuto tanto ciò che avete fatto!! Buon lavoro!

28/07/2025: Quaint and rustic. We were looked after by the personable and very obliging and helpful Ivan. Our visit also included a wine-tasting of biodynamic wines. Perfect for a Steiner educated family 🥰 Morizo was our wine guide who schooled us on Brunello and Rosso. We are absolute philistines and knew nothing about this type of wine. So this added to our southern hemisphere repertoire of Pinot Noir and Barossa valley reds.

02/02/2026: Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with the food being of very poor quality and tasteless. Tagliolini with truffle made with truffle cream and not with truffle. Tartare completely tasteless. Tiramisu unthinkable.
