Tuscan cuisine where meat truly takes center stage! Very friendly and attentive service, historic and elegant setting. Interesting traditional dishes like fried brains.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years, and it never disappoints. The service is excellent and always attentive, the food is truly delicious, and the prices are absolutely reasonable and not excessive. Honorable mention goes to the liver pâté and the dessert (cream and fruit tart), which is not a given in a restaurant.

One of my favorite restaurants in Bologna. When I want to eat authentically, in a clean place, and be greeted with warmth and kindness, I don't think twice and book immediately. Everything is delicious, from traditional Tuscan dishes to Bolognese dishes (exceptional tagliatelle with ragù, tortellini in parmesan cream, Tuscan antipasti, Florentine steak, tartare seasoned on the spot—a work of art even just watching it being prepared—and much more...and spectacular desserts to top it all off). Stefania and Simona are the hosts, and the kids are part of the family. The atmosphere is truly healthy and pleasant. Kindness and spontaneity round out everything superbly.

The tartare (made tableside to your taste) is exceptional -- flavorful, light texture. The fiorentina was expertly grilled -- a strong char yet perfectly rare interior. Enjoy the house red by the bottle, a very good pairing.

The food was very good! The Service was great although they were over booked, tjey still accomodatr us. they could still make a chit chat with us and check if everything is fine!

It's not the first time I've been here; I've always had a great experience, except this time. I was very disappointed. The dish I ordered contained pork, but it wasn't listed on the menu at all. I noticed it halfway through and left it as it was. I asked the waiter, and he informed me it was bacon. For religious reasons, I don't eat pork, so I couldn't finish it. The most serious problem is that someone with an allergy, not knowing it, could have had a serious reaction. A reputable restaurant must declare all allergens and main ingredients. I ask that the menu be updated immediately to avoid problems for other customers.

26/04/2026: We had lunch and only ate the Florentine steak and baked vegetables, everything was delicious, but the steak, about a kilo, was Oscar-worthy, congratulations!!!
20/04/2026: A true trattoria, one of those increasingly rare these days. The handmade pasta is exceptional, every dish was delicious. I was only supposed to stop for lunch on Saturday, but I returned for dinner that same day and for Sunday lunch as well. The staff was very kind and welcoming. If you're passing through Porretta Terme, it's a must-see!
