20/07/2025: First time at this restaurant and I must say it was a great experience. The place is very beautiful, informal yet elegant and well-maintained. The menu is simple yet interesting, with a few dishes but very interesting, including some flower menus that are offered regularly. The wine list is beautiful and varied, and the cellar is well-stocked and varied. The food is not only interesting to read on the menu but also to see on the plates and to taste and enjoy. I tried their GNUDI and I must say they are fantastic, then the steak, with a choice of various cuts, was fabulous and melted in the mouth like butter. The desserts were very good. Needless to say, a pleasant discovery.

13/08/2025: Everything was delicious, but it was a robbery for two people. I understand that quality comes at a price, but it's the usual tourist exploitation. As for the rest, keep the staff because they're competent, but remove the country music, which is out of place. Then, when you feel like it, open every now and then.

01/08/2025: Highly recommended if you're looking for traditional Florentine dishes. We had the pici and the Florentine steak and were very satisfied. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff is friendly.

The staff are incredibly kind, humble, and smiling, with a rare desire to make their guests feel welcome. Even though we arrived near closing time, they welcomed us with kindness and attentiveness. Excellent food, carefully crafted dishes, and interesting off-menu options. A truly delightful experience that I recommend to anyone seeking quality and genuine hospitality.

22/07/2025: I'd call it a culinary experience amidst the flavors of Tuscany or Maremma. Everything was exceptional, from the quality of the food, the wine, the service, the hospitality, and the magical and romantic setting. The only slightly negative note is the price. I fully understand that quality comes at a price, but for the same quality, you can find something a little more affordable. For this reason, 4 stars for the service, which was truly exceptional: kind, friendly, and made for a wonderful evening. Thank you (The toscaNELLO dessert was exceptional, see photo)

21/07/2025: We visited this restaurant several times a few years ago and I just had a very disappointing return. The food has gone from delicious to very average. A real shame.

16/07/2025: Estaba sentado en el jardín, donde podía ver a los camareros corriendo de arriba abajo en la calle desde el restaurante principal de abajo. Mi mesa estaba rodeada de rosas y la comida era, bueno, simplemente excelente! La pintada fue cocinada por un dios y rellenada por un ángel, el vino era néctar toscano! En una noche ardiente, prefiero estar aquí que en las entrañas santificadas del restaurante. ¡Volveré!

06/08/2025: An amazing food experience with an absolutely lovely owner and wait staff - genuinely the best dinner we've had in Florence! ❤️ Started off with a complimentary delicious carrot soup (forgot to take photos as it was too yummy) with different types of bread and a Prosecco. I had a pici with beef ragu that was absolutely delicious; while my partner had the tasting menu which was very good value and each dish showing off the fine ingredients used in a wonderful manner. Thanks so much for the wonderful service, dining venue and masterful food 🥰

31/07/2025: Haven‘t been to such a great restaurant in a long time. The food is so delicious and the service outstanding. They are so kind and always check if you need anything. Definitely worth a visit!!

My partners bistekka was overcooked and they offered us something else, then offered us a free dessert and complimentary biscottis. They were very apologetic. The food was delicious and they had a great selection of dishes

13/08/2025: Questi accoglienti, piccoli ristoranti intimi che sono sparsi in giro per l'Italia e che offrono cibo fatto in casa, li amo. Siamo stati fortunati a trovare l'ultimo tavolo e provare l'incredibile risotto con asparagi, i rigatoni, o il pollo impanato. Tutto buono, abbondante e ben servito. Da tornarci. Il prezzo del menu con vino, 30 euro a persona.

21/07/2025: I ordered the Florentine steak and my partner ordered the Pepe pasta. The steak was.. OK. The potatoes were very not ok (he told me after they cook them in the morning and reheat them on order - ya that explains it). The Pepe pasta was nice and the vino della casa (rosso) was nice. Overall not a memorable experience unfortunately... oh well Edit: Chatted some with the waiter at the end. Was a nice guy! Gave us each a shot of lemon chello just before closing, which was kind. It was solid!

28/07/2025: After three days of eating sandwiches (some of which were good), I needed a real dish to celebrate the birth of my first child. And here's this discovery: perhaps the best risotto alla Milanese with cheek and braised beef I've ever eaten! Recommended!
