16/09/2025: Got the table while was still not busy, at least for the first hour. Front house staff was lovely. We ordered 1 starter and 2 main courses and a bottle of wine and water. Drinks came very quickly. Then long break, but that's fine we are in Sicily... But the table next to us received their food, managed to eat it and pay and we were still waiting for our starter. Starter came along with only one main course. We asked waiter if another main is coming. He left and queried another waiter about our order. In very short moment another waiter came apologising as there was a mistake made by the kitchen and our 2 main course will be served shortly. We were fine with that as mistakes are happening and as they promised second main course was served within few minutes. However, the food was bland, cous cous was under seasoned, fish stock sauce had no taste, it was tasteless and salty. Such a heartbreaking meal. After we finished, we asked for the bill and you think what else could go wrong... Well... The cockroach decided to stroll across our table (thank God that was after the meal) we jumped out and rushed to pay the bill, and when we wanted to pay their card machine stopped working 🤣 so we had to wait until they replaced it with a working one.

14/09/2025: I've been going to this place for many years. My family tradition is to take couscous home for takeout, but eating at the table is also a wonderful experience. The food is always fresh, well-seasoned, and flavorful. Their couscous with fish is renowned, and that's exactly what I decided to take home, along with some fried cappuccetti (little red clams) and their legendary fish broth. The only downside is that in the summer, tourism makes the place almost inaccessible (I make a reservation until around 7 pm, and then you have to go check if there's room, which sometimes makes the wait a bit long). I recommend going outside of the summer season... takeout isn't always available either. You'll have to see how busy they are, but when they do, it's truly fantastic.

30/08/2025: Exceptional food. Excellent chef and a welcoming, family atmosphere. Friendly and very helpful staff. The owner prepared Messina braciole for me on the spot, demonstrating the process live. The seafood and meat appetizers, the scabbardfish rolls, and, last but not least, the stockfish. We will definitely be back. Recommended for discerning palates.

30/08/2025: Terrible experience, 90 euros for three fried foods and 3 skewers of chops, 4 chops per skewer! Never again!

15/10/2025: I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. What made the lunch time even more special was the owner, Francesco, who played beautiful music on his guitar, creating such a warm and charming atmosphere. It felt personal and full of heart. A perfect place to enjoy great food, lovely people, nice view in the heart of Noto and live music. Highly recommended!

15/10/2025: Francesco welcomed us warmly, accompanying our coffee break with traditional Italian songs played on the guitar. The food was very good, as was the coffee. ☕️

10/09/2025: I went for dinner. It was very noisy, with no soundproofing. Otherwise, the food was good and the service was prompt.

05/09/2025: Ensure you have plenty of room in your stomach! The food is sublime ... we enjoyed every mouthful. We decided on a la carte instead of degustation and asked the sommelier to recommend a red that suited both (my partner and my) chosen dishes. His recommendation was outstanding. We have recommended this restaurant privately to our chef and sommelier friends in parricular! 🙌

14/09/2025: We had dinner on Saturday evening and ate the tasting menu for €30 per person (appetizer, first course, second course, and sorbet), excluding drinks, and we had a great time. The waiter, Franco, was very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try Sicilian cuisine!

25/08/2025: This restaurant is on the sea, so it's a beautiful and relaxing location. We were served by a very kind and professional woman, so top marks for service are definitely deserved. The food was so-so. The mussels (peppered) were overcooked, with too much wine in them, so they didn't evaporate properly and were otherwise tasteless. We tried the pasta dishes, but nothing memorable. It's a shame because the place and location are definitely a plus.

26/09/2025: Good and authentic, we had a great time. Authentic, well-prepared food, exceptional caponata, excellent swordfish rolls. Fairly priced.

23/09/2025: Fish goulash and tuna in pistachio crust are rich in taste and super delicious! Make sure to book a table if planning on going there after 18:30.

05/10/2025: Historic local restaurant. Excellent location with outdoor seating under the trees. We had busiate alla norma and caponata for dinner. Everything was good, but not exceptional. Excellent desserts. Average prices.

05/10/2025: We've been to this trattoria for lunch several times and have always been satisfied!!! The excellent quality food, unmistakable Sicilian flavors, and friendly staff make it definitely one of the best places to go if you want to eat well and taste good! Highly recommended!!!
