12/05/2025: This was a wonderful place to have an elegant meal at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, helpful, efficient, and professional. The papardelle with Ragu and the tagliatelle pesto were unique and beautifully prepared. We shared a catch of the day - a grilled sea bass with pistachio crust. A wonderful experience after a day of sightseeing.

01/10/2024: Ristorante piccolino posizionato nella parte più esterna di Ortigia, dietro il mercato. Abbiamo prenotato tramite The Fork con uno sconto strabiliante e tutto è andato benissimo. Innanzi tutto il servizio: due ragazze di cui una, la responsabile, professionale ed attenta, l'altra molto giovane a cui si perdona un po' di ansia nel gestire il tavolo :-) Le pietanze ottime. Soprattutto il tonno, per qualità e tecnica di cottura: eccezionale. Sull'arancino un appunto: era ancora freddo all'interno. Conto perfetto CONSIGLIATISSIMO

26/05/2025: I had been many times at the Cavaddari in the past during my visits to Sicily. This one was disappointing. Pasta overcooked and with no taste, there was too much noise, children running everywhere like in a kindergarten. They have changed decoration and the place has lost its character and personality. Staff polite and service good. What a pity…

03/06/2025: To start this review, I must comment on the dishonest business practices of this hotel after a very poor stay, the worst we have ever encountered in Italy. We left the hotel after one night of a three night booking. The room was significantly below the standard for a 4 star hotel. After leaving the hotel, the hotel called me and offered a refund of "50% of the third night" of our stay and sent the attached legal release of claims. If you read the document, you will see that they offered 300 Euro for a gag order so that I could not post a review on Trip Advisor or any other site. They had this legal document ready to go and clearly use this strategy to "buy off" guests with bad experiences to make their reviews look better online. There was never any contrition from the hotel for our bad experience and in my many years of travelling I have never encountered this lack of integrity and total disregard for whether we actually enjoyed our stay. I would prefer that other travellers are able to avoid this hotel and its manager. We paid 1400 euro for a three night stay in May for a Double with Seaview including parking. It was a very hot stay and the air conditioning did not work properly in the room. The vents were incredibly dusty and the filter clearly had not been cleaned in some time. We requested a fan from the desk three times and were refused. Overall the room was dirty and dingy and stuffy with poor air quality. The mattress was incredibly lumpy and uncomfortable and we struggled to sleep our one night there. The linens felt like plastic. The room was much smaller than the photos online and it was difficult for two people to move around. Many of the fixtures in the room and bathroom were cracked, chipped, and very worn. In sum, the room was very worn, dated, and needs refurbishment. The hotel also full charged my stay 3 weeks ahead of time despite their policy only being 7 days prior to arrival, a further dishonest business practice, coupled with a no cancellation policy (which can be waived by a hotel but which they chose to enforce). We returned to our prior hotel in Noto where we had excellent service and were able to salvage the remainder of our trip. Stay clear of any hotel asking you for a GAG ORDER and having such little respect for their guests. With so many options in the area, you should skip this hotel.

05/05/2025: The hotel is incredibly well located. It is old and has a lot of charm. Reception is excellent. Very helpful. Recommendations for dinner were excellent. Breakfast is great. You can order a hot item from the kitchen and or enjoy the excellent buffet. There were some special treats at breakfast. Overall, all things considered, would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

22/03/2025: I went there this summer with my family and my brothers-in-law, both the service and the food were fantastic. My son is also celiac so he also received excellent service and as confirmed by my son, the food was also exquisite. We will be back soon

05/06/2025: A restaurant/pizzeria in the historic center of Palermo in a central pedestrian street. It is run by 3 brothers who respectively take care of the kitchen, the pizzeria, the dining room, therefore highly specialized. Traditional restaurant that offers historic and more modern dishes with the most appropriate techniques and excellent raw materials. No gourmet cuisine. We tried the pizzeria, awarded by 50 Top Pizza and Gambero Rosso. Special flours for multiple types of dough, traditional, modern, Roman pizzas and the ruoto di Cagliostro with a technique that makes it very soft. Worth trying.

05/06/2025: A place overlooking the port of Marzamemi, with a magical view and excellent quality. We were welcomed by a very kind girl, who (as requested by phone) reserved a place for us near the sea. Very young waiters, perhaps inexperienced, with the exception of the boy with a Roman accent and South American features who knows perfectly how to win over customers, but always super helpful and welcoming, ready to help with a smile. Octopus appetizer, pasta alla norma and fried food of a truly high level!

05/06/2025: Spectacular service from the entire team. The food was delicious; you can tell the produce is fresh. We had octopus as a starter, pasta a la norma, and fried rice. Everything was delicious! We'll be back.

09/03/2025: I'll start by saying that I had never been there and I must say that I was very surprised by the variety of foods offered in the starters and the quality obviously no less. We booked for 8 and we all appreciated the good food proposed by the chef including the dessert which finally wasn't packaged but handcrafted, specifically a mimosa cake, a profitterol and a panna cotta, all three very good, the place was very quiet, a location not far out of town but quiet and away from city traffic, all in all a good experience, low costs.

01/06/2025: I had the feeling of not being in a normal restaurant but at a friend's house, right from the welcome. Then the dishes cooked according to tradition strengthened the initial sensation and each course, from appetizer to dessert was a triumph of flavor, a joy for the taste buds. Don't miss the caponata appetizer and the pasta with lobster, a triumph of flavor and the cod with the inevitable Marsala prawns are the 🔝

23/05/2025: Nabij de haven gelegen Restarant met terrras, uitgekozen op basis van de reviews. Ontvangst was netjes. Via de ar code - menukaart - gekozen voor vis- goulash (deze was lekker) en lamskotelet - alleen vet, bijna geen vlees en teruggegeven. Keuken gaf aan dat een nieuw stukje lamskotelet er het zelfde uit zou zien en dus voor een ander gerecht gekozen: rundvlees. Was iets beter, maar het vlees zat deels vol met zenen, jammer! Na een dessert en een koffie, enigzins teleurgesteld vertrokken. We hadden er meer van verwacht. Prijs/ kwaliteit is redelijk.
