08/08/2025: A superb dinner at Osteria Expanificio! We enjoyed a creamy risotto and seafood linguine, both perfectly cooked and rich in flavor. Paired with a refreshing Hugo Spritz, it was simply divine. The staff is attentive, discreet, and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention goes to the clean restrooms—a detail that really counts! The establishment offers breathtaking views of the majestic Valley of the Temples: a magnificent setting for a memorable meal. The only downside is that you might want to bring some cash—it's a great payment method. In short: delicious food, elegant ambiance, and exceptional views—a perfect combo that you absolutely must try!

21/08/2025: Among the best restaurants in Sicily (or Italy?). Excellent cuisine with top-quality ingredients, traditional combinations, and no crazy dishes for Instagrammers. Everything is excellent, proving they don't need stars just to brag. We'll definitely be back. P.S.: The chef and his wife are also very friendly and welcoming.

02/08/2025: Una piacevole sorpresa a Ragusa Ibla! Locale davvero delizioso, ben arredato, pulito e con un’atmosfera tranquilla. Menù molto invitante, qualità del cibo ottima, servizio rapido, cortese e attento. Grande attenzione (e pazienza!) nei confronti dei bambini. Pizze squisite, caciocavallo alla griglia favoloso, salumi, bruschettone… tutto buonissimo e ben presentato. Un plauso speciale va… alla pulizia dei bagni! Siamo arrivati a fine serata ma erano davvero puliti e profumati, davvero un ottimo biglietto da visita. Torneremo!

10/08/2025: Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy it. We tried the €24 appetizer for two, consisting of 10 courses: five were nice, but the other five seemed like they were just filling. For example, the green salad was inedible, the cheese was extremely dry, and there were figs with balsamic vinegar, a combination I don't understand how it could be included in an appetizer. We also had the French fries, but they were soft and tasted like they'd been soaked in water: completely inedible. For the main courses: the donkey meat was good, but with so much vinegar that it was inedible; the two fillets with gorgonzola, one cooked well and one requested medium, arrived with the main course practically raw. The chicken breast, on the other hand, was extremely dry. At the end, they offered us limoncello with some biscuits, but they weren't good either.

08/08/2025: Excellent restaurant, we had a wonderful dinner. Top-quality products prepared with recipes that reflect Sicilian tradition. We particularly appreciated the attention shown to the customers by both the owners and the waitresses. Excellent advice on food and wine pairings. Every suggestion was invaluable. I recommend trying the shrimp tartare and the Mazara shrimp. We will definitely be back.

03/08/2025: We were booking in advance. However, when we arrived we were waiting 10 min and three different persons were asking if we have a booking. The calamari fritti were the main highlight. The pasta alla Norma (one of the only vegetarian dishes) was somehow acid and I wouldn’t recommend it. The other dishes were average and the best within pasta options was the one with gamberetti. I find it is not worth quality / price.

08/08/2025: I went to this restaurant for dinner with family, mainly to try the couscous. I know this dish well, so my expectations were really high. First of all, you absolutely have to book. They have two sittings for dinner, 7:45 and 9:30 p.m.; we chose the second sitting so we didn't have to wait. We had fish appetizers, which were really good. For the couscous, I definitely recommend the duo option for €25. It basically brings you two half portions of couscous of your choice on one plate, complete with sauces and gravies for both. The portions are normal and well-seasoned. We ordered wines, a truly vast selection, although the wine prices are slightly higher than other restaurants. The location is truly beautiful and unique. Inside, there's a "renovated" garden with paving and olive trees, a must-see. Excellent service; the waiters are kind, attentive, and helpful. Medium-high prices, commensurate with the quality and service. The only thing I can say, more of a suggestion than anything else, is that they should better organize the waiting lists and wait times.

06/08/2025: Compared to other restaurants in Mondello, this one stands out. The food was great — we had the best dessert we’ve ever tasted! The staff were friendly, and the wine was good. I would recommend adding this place to your list if you're in the area.

02/08/2025: This place is truly one of a kind in the area. The moment you step in, it feels like you’ve entered another world. Peaceful, authentic, and far from the touristy buzz of Mondello. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The food was outstanding: both in taste and presentation. The service was impeccable, with professional staff and an incredibly accommodating chef who not only greeted us but also took our order personally! A special thank you for the birthday candle on the cake, such a thoughtful gesture. It made the evening even more special for my boyfriend. We truly appreciated it!

12/08/2025: Spaghetti with sea urchins was fabulous. Grilled octopus accompanied by a turmeric puree, an original and tasty dish. Fried cod was average (considering the restaurant's name, a more varied cod menu would be appropriate). Sicilian cassata was good. The prosecco was also good.

14/06/2025: Really panoramic place, spectacular pizza and very kind staff. I recommend it if you want to eat a pizza or maybe taste the fabulous cutting boards accompanied by a light piped music and a pleasant coolness.

Appetizers, pizza and meat of the highest quality ... what can I say 🥰🥰🥰🥰 value for money I couldn't find better, thanks again, I will definitely return 🫶

12/08/2025: The food and service were excellent. Among the appetizers, I particularly enjoyed the ricotta fritters. It's a shame I didn't get to try the horse meatballs, which weren't available the night I visited.

15/08/2025: I'd like to share my experience at this restaurant with you. The appetizers were subpar...very salty olives, frozen products...the fried Tuma cheese. The Florentine steak was very tough and full of fat. The dining room was very hot because it was far from the air conditioning. The wine list was good, including the liquor list.
