05/04/2025: I haven't been so satisfied in a long time. Absolutely fantastic appetizer - mussels with gorgonzola and then the main course - spaghetti with mussels. It was a chef's concept of a concert. I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

21/05/2025: Wonderful restaurant, not a tourist restaurant, it is an option for those who live in Palermo. The owners are always present and very friendly, and the waiters are attentive. The dishes were amazing both times we were there. We ate very well. I recommend it.

30/05/2025: Cocktails cost €10, while seaside restaurants cost no more than €8. We had the potato croquettes and two salads. The croquettes were okay, bland but okay. The salads include canned tuna, canned corn, and industrial mozzarella; the salad includes unpitted oranges and olives with roughly chopped fennel. You can also enjoy phone calls from employees and videos watched by the chefs if you eat in the dining room. Much too expensive for the quality of the food and the atmosphere.

12/05/2025: Typical place created from a millstone, typical cuisine even if in the menu there is a slightly confused identity between the proposal of the day and the basic menu. Simple food without excellence of any kind and with some small preparation errors. Precise and courteous service as well as well-trained dining room staff. I was not satisfied with the quality/price ratio... three guests who took only one shared starter and three decidedly basic second courses, without a bottle of wine or dessert we spent 140 euros. A little too much to justify a zibibbo offered at the end of the meal or an entree of bread wafers. Personally I won't return, in my opinion there are much more interesting alternatives in the area

09/05/2025: this is something strange! the owner of the hotel recommended this place to us. very beautiful interior, made with love for details and decor. but we were very upset by the service. there were 2 waiters and a manager. they constantly came and did something on our table, moved, carried, took away (especially the man waiter). stood right in front of us and looked at us straightly. it was very uncomfortable, we were shy during all time. they also discussed us, thinking that we were foreigners and did not understand. the food was delicious, although the portions were small. but this uncomfortable atmosphere made us eat quickly, skip dessert and run away. when we asked for the bill and paid it with a credit card, they also brought us a wooden box with a receipt and a place for tips. i was sitting and looking for money in my bag to find a suitable one, at that moment the waiter-man, came up, opened it, slammed it and took it away!! what was that???? I was so confused. very bad manners, especial with the guest of you country, who is don’t understand something. We have been travelling around Sicilia already 1 week and first time meet so uncomfortable attitude in caffe.

The service was impeccable in every aspect: from the first contact with the team, always professional and available, until the end of the evening, when they were truly attentive to every need. The quality of the food was simply spectacular. Each dish was carefully prepared, elegantly presented and, above all, delicious. You could feel the freshness of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs in combining flavors. The guests were all enthusiastic, and many asked me the name of the catering! In addition, the staff was always courteous, smiling and ready to satisfy every request, without ever being intrusive. The organization was perfect, and everything was served with timing and attention. We couldn't have made a better choice. 12/05/2025: First, let me say that I did not eat at the restaurant. Why should I leave a message? Because I want to thank them, they protected me, when I was afraid, they protected me, a stranger who didn't understand the language. Before nine o'clock in the evening last Thursday, I finished exploring the city and decided to walk back to my hotel less than three kilometers away from the duomo. It was my first time to come to Catania, and the duomo area was very lively. I thought walking back would be a good way to experience the city. I didn't think anything was wrong until I met a man in his 50s on the roadside about 200m away from the restaurant. I glanced at him and he immediately tried to talk to me. I didn't respond and accelerated my pace, but he kept up with me! I walked faster, but he still followed me and called me from behind. I was very scared and didn't dare to stop at all. Suddenly I saw this store, and it was like I saw a life-saving straw. I dived in and found an empty seat and sat down. The store owners (a man and a woman) were sitting at the table next to each other and chatting. They might have been a little surprised by my sudden intrusion, but they didn’t chase me away. They just looked at me... I stayed in the store like this for a few minutes, and no one chased me away. I calmed down and took the initiative to tell them that there was a strange man following me, so I came in to hide for a while. Please let me stay for a while. That’s what the translation software I used said. They read the translation and immediately said, it's okay, I can stay in the store. Then they asked me who was following me and asked me to point it out to them! I was so touched that they were finding the person that scared me. 10/06/2025: This restaurant is run by a Japanese wife, Naoko, and her Italian husband. After climbing the steep stairs to the second floor, you'll find a restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The view from the window is also wonderful 👍 The food was also very good, and the tuna caught here was exquisite. We enjoyed the Italian food, but other customers ordered boat-shaped platters and sushi. The wife, who is the chef, is popular at the market, so you can be sure of the ingredients. The food was really delicious. It's a restaurant I'd like to visit again when I'm in Ortigia. Although it's not in the photo, the frites were crispy and delicious.

04/06/2025: A place to really discover. Ancient, serene and silent atmosphere, from the window you can see a very suggestive glimpse of the sea. The owner is an exquisite person, honest, friendly and efficient, takes all the orders and serves the tables quickly. The food is really good, rich and varied menu, dishes for all tastes, decidedly modest prices especially if compared to the quality of the food and the location. Just think that a few meters away there is a string of tourist and chaotic places that with exorbitant prices do not come close to the quality of the galley. In addition, the place has the particularity of being Italian-Japanese. Absolutely to try and discover. We will definitely return.

20/04/2025: I was at Easter 2025, friendly and helpful dining room staff, menu not up to par for the day and the price. We, like the rest of the guests, were forced to stay in an uncomfortable position without movement and we helped the waiters serve us.
