13/10/2025: A delicious dinner at Profumi di Cous Cous in San Vito Lo Capo, an elegant and refined restaurant where the Mediterranean atmosphere permeates every detail. The staff is friendly and attentive, the service is quick yet discreet, and the outdoor garden offers a truly evocative setting.
We chose two signature dishes: the Rais couscous, rich and fragrant, with an intense broth and the freshest fish, and the Pantesca couscous, more aromatic and bold in flavor. Both are impeccable in balance and presentation. The desserts are also excellent, carefully crafted and delicious, the perfect end to a truly successful dinner.
An experience that combines tradition and sophistication, highly recommended for anyone who wants to savor the true spirit of San Vito Lo Capo.

11/10/2025: A place that exudes history, walls filled with photos of famous customers and cuisine from various eras.
Small but beautiful, with just the right amount of discretion, perhaps even accustomed to a clientele that isn't just casual tourists.
So, expectations were high, and we got off to a slow start, especially since it was our fourth day dining in Palermo.
A sfincione for four to share was very good, followed by four first courses: tortellini in broth, busiate pasta with pistachio and shrimp, paccheri with pork ragù, and ravioli with tomato sauce filled with eggplant and smoked scamorza.
Everything was very good, although the ravioloni were the highlight for us.
Having resolved our reservations, we ordered a mixed boiled meat with saffron potatoes, pleasant and delicate in flavor—good, in fact, very good.
Good value for money.
A restaurant worth trying if you come to Sicily.
09/10/2025: You might be told that in Sicily, especially in Palermo, the food is good everywhere. But at Casa del Brodo, the food is truly delicious. The menu offers excellent suggestions. The dishes have flavors that enrich the palate, such as the eggplant rolls or fried red mullet. The dessert was a delight. The wine list is simple but offers good choices. The price is reasonable. A restaurant to recommend. Reservations are recommended.

01/10/2025: A good restaurant in the Capo Mulini area of Acireale.
What can I say? I was pleasantly satisfied with everything I ate.
Ultimately, the tasting menu is the best choice because you can sample quite a few dishes, from appetizers to first courses, while still keeping the portions fairly generous.
The appetizers are very varied, starting with smoky flavors, moving on to oysters and raw fish, and finishing with seafood fritters, mussels, and other dishes.
The first courses, a pasta dish and a risotto, were both delicious and flavorful. Perhaps my only personal complaint is that I wouldn't have used trofie for the pasta, which isn't typical of Sicily, but rather opted for another type of pasta.
For the rest, two glasses of wine are included in the price.
Reservations are recommended.

I’ve been in Sicily for 12 days. Have had meals of all sorts — “nicer” ones, more casual, etc. so far most of my favorite food has come from chill little spots run by one or two people…but Andrea just salvaged the “nice” bucket.
You can tell the team has experience, and found their voice a long time ago. You can’t fake a connection — if it’s there it’s there.
Perfect meal. I just canceled my dinner reservations for tomorrow because I have to end my trip on that.

La cucina si distingue per l’approccio monoproteico per piatto, con sapori netti e ottimamente bilanciati. Menù degustazione (noi quello da 10 portate), accompagnato da bollicine siciliane. Piatti di carne e pesce tutti centrati. Finale sorprendente: il dessert si compone al momento, davanti al cliente, scegliendo tra vari ingredienti. Esperienza tecnica, elegante e coinvolgente.

02/10/2025: OK place, OK service, average appetizers. PIZZAS: average-high price for the pizza, good dough, but what about the toppings? Let's draw a veil over them. The pizzas are over-topped, with a soft center, and the flavors are therefore mixed, you can't distinguish anything, so everything is messy and the pizza is very heavy to digest, in fact you can only eat half of it. A good pizza must have the right toppings, not too much, because you need to feel the crunchiness of the dough. The toppings that make up the pizza must be distinguishable, it must be light and digestible. QUANTITY IS NOT ALWAYS SYNONYMOUS WITH QUALITY AND ABOVE ALL GOODNESS.

When we arrived, the waitress greeted us without a smile. Afterward, there was a bit of an argument between the waiters.
For a pizza, mussel soup, a chicken skewer, and a sparkling water, it cost 40 euros. Neither cheap nor excessively expensive.
