05/01/2026: My only regret was that I went to dinner a bit full from lunch, because the quality was excellent and I would have liked to try other dishes. The fresh pasta with sardines was superb. The ricotta-filled ravioli served in a meat broth with generous pieces of meat were also delicious. Generous portions and friendly staff.
05/01/2026: Everything was perfect, the best pasta I've ever eaten. They were fast, helpful, and kind. The place is also really cute and warm.

17/12/2025: In October, we hosted our wedding guests at this splendid venue. We were treated with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. The food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The staff were extremely helpful and cooperative in organizing the event. This is the epitome of San Vito's fine dining experience. Special thanks to the owners, Vito and Matteo, and special praise to Nello, head waiter, and the entire waiting staff. We are so happy we chose this venue. Highly recommended!

13/01/2026: The osteria is located on a small side street near the theater. It's a pleasant, harmonious place. The food is excellent, and there are some off-menu dishes suggested by the chef. We had a seafood salad made with fresh raw and cooked fish and a pasta dish with shrimp and bottarga—absolutely delicious. We paired our meal with a glass of white wine, but the wine selection is varied and offers a selection of interesting wineries. We finished lunch with dessert—the Sicilian cassata, which completed the deliciousness. The staff is very attentive to the customer's needs. I highly recommend it. Tourists and anyone in the area should definitely go there, you won't regret it.
06/01/2026: Located in the historic center, adjacent to the city hall and the beautiful Teatro Pirandello, the restaurant is welcoming and elegant, filled with theater posters as if it were a foyer. Service is fast and impeccable, and the dishes are simple, authentic, and unfussy. Fish is Ruga's signature dish, whether in broth, baked, or fried, the ingredients are treated to achieve excellent results. Highly recommended.

09/01/2026: The location is beautiful, inside the renovated stables of Palazzo Cattolica. The food is excellent (compliments to the chef), but given the overall quality, I would have expected more attentive and meticulous service.
04/01/2026: A very pleasant evening in a refined setting. Very good food and attentive service. They even got me a cassatella, even though it wasn't on the menu.
Worth a visit.

03/03/2026: Friendly place on main tourist restaurant street. Portions are smallish; the house white was a little sour for my taste, and on reflection I wish I’d declined it.
11/01/2026: The entrance is barely visible, but as you walk through, you pass through a beautiful room before arriving in an unexpected garden.
You can enjoy typical dishes like Syracuse-style spaghetti or Sicilian rolls. Save room for the delicious tiramisu.

25/02/2026: Absolute must when visiting Taormina. The restaurant is split into two either side of a terrace, one side is more "bistro" compared to the other side a bit more formal, however when we were here (off season) both served an identical menu. Fabulous food, great service, lovely wine ... what's more to want?
07/01/2026: Not the experience I expected. Quite unwelcoming waitress. Thought she was mad at something. Tasteless Bread. Caponata was okay, but Spaghetti with Bluefin Tuna Caviar smelled really fish, felt it's from rotten fish. Cod with mashed potatoes were just plain, mediocre at best. When I asked about a few other menu like cuttlefish salad, she simply said it's a summer menu. In January, thir menu indeed are quite limited. The worst experience I had in Sicily
