Came across this restaurant on the Michelin guide. I don’t think it should still be on it. As other reviewers have noted the service is quote cold and the food is completely average. The salad we got was like a canteen salad and the pastas were fine. The tables outside under the mock orange trees are charming.

Nice place, good service. A negative note: the food we were served seemed pre-cooked, and the price for two half glasses of wine and a tiramisu was a bit too high.

I booked to celebrate our wedding anniversary. When I booked, I mentioned it was a special event, but last night, not a single word was said. Service was inattentive, except for the gentleman who explained the bread and oil and the young man who took care of the wine. The food was wonderful, but I'm happy with my choice.

A wonderful experience. Truly excellent food, carefully prepared dishes using quality ingredients. The staff is kind and attentive, always available without being intrusive. The location is beautiful and makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. A perfect place for a special dinner or just to eat well. I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!! 😋

An exceptional restaurant! I had the best pasta with sardines here in my life. The menu is sophisticated, and I absolutely recommend trying the couscous, which is truly fabulous. We've been back for dinner several times, and it's always a sure thing. I drank a glass of white wine from the Noto area (I'm trying to find the label), which I highly recommend.

An excellent experience at I Banchi, Ciccio Sultano's project in Ragusa Ibla. A restaurant, bakery, and pantry all in one space housed in a historic cave.
We enjoyed the five-course menu with wine pairings: welcome tapas, Sicilian fried fish, spaghetti with sardines, pork shoulder with chocolate, and artisanal Colomba cake for dessert. Everything was carefully curated and rooted in Sicilian tradition, yet with a contemporary twist.
The bread and scacce made with ancient grains from Molino del Ponte were truly remarkable.
The ambiance was charming, the service attentive and friendly. Thanks to Gabriella Cicero, chef Federico Paz Zavalia, and the staff for their hospitality.
We'll be back.

Ibla is already very beautiful, but if we add a meal here, everything is even more fantastic.
I recommend the seafood tasting menu, truly excellent. The dishes are carefully prepared, and all the courses are truly delicious. The staff is young, courteous, and attentive. They use only local products, and even the restaurant interior is very pleasant to visit, full of art and color! Highly recommended! We had lunch at the outdoor tables.

This review was inspired by the enthusiastic feedback I'd read online. The food was pleasant but average, with no notable highlights. A negative note was given to the service, which seemed decidedly slow: the wait between courses was excessive, even though the restaurant wasn't fully booked. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, but time management could be improved.
