19/10/2025: We happened to be here today and were given a very friendly welcome by the restaurant's owner. While there's no menu, you're served all sorts of delicious Sicilian antipasti, along with water and, if you wish, red wine. We highly recommend a visit; the little village on the mountain is truly stunningly beautiful; anyone heading towards Cefalu should definitely stop here. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

19/10/2025: The guide recommended it to us, and it was fantastic. We had pasta with clams and baked sea bream, both delicious. The sea bream that morning was breathtaking. The fish of the day. Well cooked. The service was very friendly and warm. The atmosphere was discreet, elegant, yet warm. We didn't try the desserts because we weren't hungry, but the cannoli and tiramisu looked amazing.

17/09/2025: After traveling all day, it was such luck that I walked by and happened to find this place. Unique courtyard with such peace. Super delicious food! Ate pasta Norma and a salad. Want to go back🙌🏻😍

08/11/2025: A few days ago, I received a birthday gift from my children: a gourmet package from the Burgio brothers, straight from Sicily to Sardinia. The package was shockproof and contained several specialties. I have yet to try the fennel pesto, pistachio pesto, and jams, but the Nebrodi black pork sausage already took me back to my childhood, when home-raised pigs were processed in kitchens amidst the fire and smoke. The caponata and the large seasoned olives were an explosion of flavors and colors, and finally, I tasted Modica chocolate for the first time and discovered another universe. Thank you, Burgio brothers, for your attention to detail; the caponata and olives definitely beat aftershave as a birthday gift.

07/11/2025: Fantastic every time an incredible experience, the atmosphere and the high quality of the cured meats and cheeses and the freshness of the ingredients create an authentic and unique atmosphere

12/11/2025: I got a table between the main dining rooms in November, which was drafty and cold. We had to wear jackets while eating. The antipasti were bland. The fish was overcooked... I wouldn't eat there again.

14/09/2025: Everything was good, the service was fast, the location was very nice, authentic, they didn't rip you off, and the food was good. Not the easiest to get to if you don't know Macchia.

12/09/2025: The panoramic view of the Ionian coast, the terrace for summer evenings with live music, and the spacious interior make this place ideal for friends and family. The restaurant is ideal for events or simply for an evening with friends. My group and I, when we're looking for a cool evening and great food, this is the first place we think of. Dario, his wife, and all the staff make you feel at ease. See you next time!!

08/11/2025: I am super dissatisfied. They have a menu on the internet, we choose our food and make a reservation. After which we go to the place and find out that the menu is completely different dishes from one plate. Pretty poor. I do not recommend. We paid for our water and went to another restaurant. This is the first time something like this has happened to me in Sicily.

26/10/2025: We had dinner on Saturday evening on the recommendation of an acquaintance, whom I will forever thank for recommending this restaurant. We felt welcomed like family. The explanation of each dish was a true tale of how and why that offering was on the menu. All seasoned with passion and expertise. We had a wonderful evening, dining beautifully and feeling a little pampered. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: We were looking for a good restaurant, but everything nearby was already booked and not very comforting, despite the reviews. Finally, we found the Antica Locanda. It's been a long time since I've found a restaurant as magnificent as this one. Everything was exceptional, from the menu to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and I'm not the type to leave positive reviews often. I enjoyed the local dishes recommended by the staff, and I must say it was truly worth it, not to mention the desserts, which were explained in detail. I highly recommend it; I give it 6 stars, even though the maximum is 5. If I ever return to Ortigia, it will be my first stop. Wonderful.

28/11/2025: This was our first tasting experience and probably my favorite meal I’ve ever had. This one is for the adventurous eaters who don’t mind raw seafood. Every single dish was incredible and so delicious. The service was unmatched. I will be thinking about this meal for a very long time.

07/10/2025: My favorite restaurant! I've been going here since 2019, and I immediately knew it was a place that made a difference! The menu has a wide selection: excellent pizza, delicious and unique restaurant dishes. The highlight is the SUSHI! The best I've ever eaten! This year, when I started planning my wedding, I immediately contacted Dario and Egizia, the owners, because I absolutely wanted to celebrate at and with them! The expectations were high, and they lived up to them and beyond! Of course, sushi was a must; I've seen people who have always had a negative opinion about sushi eat it! My guests were amazed by the quality of the lunch! San Martino de Kamerata is home to me, and I'll continue to go there to try all their dishes! I highly recommend anyone who doesn't know it to eat there; it will become a fixation for you too! Dario Egizia ❤️

23/08/2025: AMAZING! A very pleasant surprise. Everyone at the table enjoyed everything. We had appetizers, traditional first courses, and sushi, and every course was truly delicious. Compliments for the cuisine and also for the friendly and fast service. Recommended!

03/12/2025: Low-quality meat arancini... I'm sorry because it's not the first time I've eaten them at your place and I have to say it's always been impeccable... but this time it was inedible. It crumbled with every bite I took, and the ragù was flavorless.

01/12/2025: Looked forward to Aranchine her as I have had so many nice ones for 2 Euros in Sicily. Paid 4 Euros here for a grissly fatty cold Aranchine. Such a shame. No Toilet here either.

20/11/2025: Very nice, family-friendly place. I tried an appetizer with samples of all kinds of fish and a second course of fried calamari, everything good and fresh, the owner is a very kind person, I recommend you go. I will definitely go back.

25/10/2025: We went to this place for dinner for two. The interior is charming, resembling a piazza, and it's always very Neapolitan in style. The waiter was very rushed, so I asked for a minute to order because we hadn't even had time to sit down. He had already come over to ask if we'd decided. I ordered a raw fish appetizer, so I was expecting a varied dish. I'll add a photo so you can see what the dish looked like. I put down my fork to take the last bite, and the waiter quickly cleared my plate. While I was deciding whether or not to have dessert, there was a spoon left on the table unused, and I, though completely wrong, had fiddled with it. The waiter, without asking, took it and put it back in the drawer at the counter among the clean things, and nothing stopped my craving for dessert.

The place has a nice atmosphere, great for both relaxing and enjoying good food. I’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

05/11/2025: Highly recommended restaurant in Agrigento. We not only enjoyed exquisite food, but the menu also featured gourmet options of exceptional quality and value. We loved everything. The atmosphere was beautiful, and Andrea was the best! His service was excellent; he was very kind and friendly, and he speaks Spanish, which allowed us to ask him anything we wanted about the dishes. It's definitely a place to visit if you want to eat well, try typical Sicilian cuisine, and enjoy a lovely evening.
