19/08/2025: We ate here for our last night in Catania and it didn’t disappoint. There is a lovely courtyard area behind the restaurant which is very charming. The Carbonara and Seafood pasta were delicious. Highly recommend.

In an ever-evolving market, only the quality of their service and the deliciousness of their dishes are evolving here... with prices a touch below average... it's always a pleasure to return.

06/07/2025: I Cascinari is a place of the heart. It is the grandmother's cooking kept alive and reworked by chef Vito. It is the welcome of Piero and the very kind boys who serve in the dining room. Every time we return to Palermo, at least a couple of stops are a must. Exceptional value for money. Often after eating we also take something to take away. In my personal ranking: appetizer (free and for everyone) of panelline and croquettes, eggplant meatballs, spaghetti with black ink or Sicilian pesto, stuffed squid... but I mean, it's not possible: I would have to list the entire menu! It is essential to book, they are always full

27/07/2025: A good restaurant with delicious food and atmosphere, the only thing I would change is the chairs and sometimes there can be problems with the staff that you have to wait 1 minute before entering. Oysters were brought in 13 minutes,ravioli 35 minutes,water is served immediately and if you ordered wine, you can choose which one tastes better to you

28/08/2025: Almost all of my reviews are positive, with this exception. Very rude wait staff; caters to locals who cut in line, without reservation, over tourists with reservations. Look elsewhere.

27/08/2025: Service needs to be reevaluated. The appetizers were very good and fresh. The first courses were good, but I focused on the clam dish. It was a mess, tasteless, and watery dish, with even pieces of shells. I mentioned my lack of enjoyment in eating them to the waitress, who couldn't answer. I think it's a good thing for a restaurant owner to care about the customer's enjoyment (two plates of spaghetti with clams remained whole on the plate). Very disappointed. Overall, a good experience.

12/07/2025: The waiters are impatient and do not help with menu too much. The menu is a 1-line menu with no details on what the food contains. We walked a lot to get there because it was on a gluten-free site. They had very limited gluten free choice.

04/08/2025: Taste and flavor in Taormina. In a city where it's not easy to eat well and escape the tourist traps, we found Malvasia. A traditional, quality restaurant. Flavorful dishes, extremely friendly service. I really appreciated the honesty of the waiter/owner in suggesting the best dishes to order, and those to avoid. These suggestions turned out to be perfect. It shows when someone knows what they're doing. Prices are very fair for Taormina standards.

It would be better to slow down. Otherwise, nothing to complain about: the food is excellent and the portions are generous. The staff is very kind and attentive.

26/08/2025: We were able to get a table on the balcony, although the place was empty. It's truly beautiful to dine there overlooking the main street. The food was incredible. We ordered vitello tonnato as a starter (highly recommended) and spinach and ricotta ravioli for our main course. The olive oil they bring to your table is delicious too. Super reasonable prices.

25/08/2025: We tasted the ink and sea urchin pasta, the sea bream and the beef pasta. Excellent!!! I really recommend it and the dessert, the millefeuille, is simply sublime. I really recommend it, Stefano took great care of us and offered us a digestif. Superb!
