We asked a man on the street who seemed local for a good restaurant. He recommended Seby. "Tell him he sent you..." We went and had a divine lunch. Typical dishes, carefully prepared with ingredients and presentation. We had a table in the ancient courtyard because we hadn't booked, so it was packed inside, very atmospheric. Not unimportant: the service was very efficient and courteous. Finally, a place where they serve food on warmed plates so it doesn't get cold quickly.

If you have been here and didn't give it five stars, give your heads a wobble.
Service was superb. Bespoke plates for me as a vegetarian, superb wine, divine tiramasu, and a lovely setting in the garden (its april, its warm!), and extremely well priced for the quality of food your getting.

The food is fantastic. We were a group of 8, all had different dishes which were all excellent. Also Wine by the glass was very generous.

It was my first time eating seafood, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. We started with appetizers and fried fish of rare quality and freshness. Next, we tried three different fish-based entrees, all excellent and expertly prepared. Without a doubt, one of the best seafood restaurants we've ever been to. Impeccable quality and authentic flavors: an experience we absolutely must repeat.

We came here once and decided that we needed to return for our last meal in Ortigia.
Absolutely phenomenal pasta - the tagliatelle dish was literally a ratatouille come to Jesus moment for me. Lobster pasta was also insanely good. And whatever that dessert was drenched in liquor was TOP!
Great service and cute, unpretentious atmosphere. Gracie!
