05/10/2025: We were in Syracuse for 1.5 days and we went here twice. Every single dish we got was a piece of culinary art. The dish of grilled fish was a great choice for two people to try different kinds of seafood. The fish were so fresh they melted in my mouth. The tuna tartar was very delicate and an absolute blast. The sardine and orange and fennel salad? I can’t stop thinking about it. I’ve had cannoli all over sicily and none of them beat the one I had here: light, soft, the right amount of sweetness. The cherry on top is that they’re also pro-Palestine and they have it written all over the restaurant.

12/10/2025: I had lunch at Ristorante Duomo in Ragusa Ibla – and it was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. As soon as you enter, you realize that the highest standards are being met here. The service is excellent – ​​every move is perfect, everything meshes seamlessly together as if in a perfectly staged performance. The wait staff is absolutely superb – professional, attentive, speaks excellent French and English, and explains each dish with passion and knowledge. The kitchen offers a modern, creative, and subtle interpretation of Sicilian classics. The portion sizes are generous – you can truly "taste" each individual course. I was particularly impressed by the seafood and fish – a culinary level I've never experienced before. I was worried beforehand – based on some Google reviews – that I would be rushed through the menu. But no way: The dishes are served quickly, but at no point are you rushed through – they offer enough space to enjoy each course in peace. A special shout-out goes to the sommelier: He served some truly special wines that I won't soon forget. And all of this with extraordinary friendliness and great expertise. For comparison: The night before, I ate at a one-star restaurant in Noto. I wondered if you could tell the difference – my answer: Yes, absolutely. The service and dishes at the Duomo are at least a notch above. Simply: Thank you for this wonderful lunch – I'll be back!

03/10/2025: There is a reason why this restaurant has 2 Michelin stars and it isn't just for its food (which is spectacular). From the moment we walked in till the moment we left both my partner and myself felt like royalty. The service was impeccable and the attention to detail was second to none. There is no other word that one can use to describe the whole experience except for the word Immaculate. I never cease to be amazed when I eat here and I can't wait to go again in just a few weeks time. Chapeau

20/09/2025: Exceptional in every way! Typical Sicilian dishes prepared with top-quality ingredients, local and refined products. All served in an intimate, refined, and welcoming atmosphere. Making the experience even more special is the presence of Mr. Luigi, a friendly and delightful host. Highly recommended!

04/10/2025: One of the most beautiful restaurants in Giardini Naxos. The dishes are delicious, the service is very friendly and attentive, and it's simply lovely! We went there several times, even though we were only there for a week.

01/10/2025: We had the Linguine al nero di Sepia 😍 and the Calamaro a Modo Mio 😍. The appetizer platter is also worth it. Very tasty and fine Sicilian cuisine in a very pleasant atmosphere. The wine selection is extensive and there's something for every taste! It's worth booking a table, otherwise you'll have to wait a bit.

20/09/2025: In this Catania restaurant, the food was good about fifteen years ago, like everywhere else. Hygiene was zero, food was just okay, and if you arrive after 1:00 PM, you have to wait at least twenty minutes, and there's no fish left. As for the wine, let's not even mention it's more of a packet than a grape. Let's talk about value for money; you can probably get a decent lunch for €13. (Not including fish.)

11/10/2025: The food was good. Unfortunately the service and attitude is really really bad. Especially the younger waiters and waitresses. Everyone were more focused with bringing customers into the shop than providing services to customers already in the shop. The attitude can be retraced back to their responses to bad reviews - instead of commenting that they would do better or differently, it's always the customers' fault that they had a bad experience. Good food can also be found elsewhere around the area. Unfortunately attitude not very Sicilian like.

A lunch first narrated and explained by the owner of the trattoria with love and care, and then thoroughly enjoyed with my husband. Mixed fried fish including panelle, fried sage, and croquettes. Amazing eggplant caponata. Swordfish rolls and fish soup, fried octopus accompanied by sweet and sour caramelized onion. To finish, and to die for, ricotta cannoli, the ones from Piana degli Albanesi. A fresh Etna white wine, whose cellar I can't remember now, but they have several. Coffee and house liqueur were included. Very fair prices for the quality, deliciousness, and generous portions. A refined restaurant, simple and elegant. Delightful and attentive staff, providing attentive, unobtrusive service. To say I recommend it is an understatement...don't miss it!!!!!

17/09/2025: We had a wonderful evening with exquisite food and a perfectly matched wine. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly. We immediately felt at home. The menu was chosen based on the chef's advice. We had typical Sicilian starters (10 different), all of which were delicious. We would go back anytime. A visit is definitely worth it!
