12/07/2026: An excellent experience at I Sapori del Mare Restaurant! The freshest seafood dishes were carefully prepared and rich in flavor. The staff was welcoming, kind, and always attentive to our needs. The red shrimp, mussels with almonds, and squid ink tagliolini with red shrimp tartare were all excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner with friends. Excellent value. If you're looking for a good seafood restaurant in Palermo, I definitely recommend it!

24/05/2026: I had high expectations for the dinner I booked at Trattoria Corona, and they were fully met. The menu features typical Sicilian dishes, mostly seafood, and the wine list is excellent, with local labels and a few gems from outside the region. The Slow Food award is well deserved. I'd definitely recommend it again and again. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

It's the ideal place for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The highlight is undoubtedly the seafood, the star of the menu. The wide selection of raw and cooked dishes showcases the freshness of the ingredients. Each dish is prepared with care, balance, and elegant presentation, without ever being overbearing. You can sense the kitchen's passion for showcasing the flavors of the sea with quality ingredients and thoughtful pairings. The service also deserves special mention: the Pandetta family is friendly, professional, and always available to recommend both dishes and the most suitable wine, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. 08/05/2026: I paid my bill with a Wise Visa card which I use extensively in Europe for euro purchases. For some reason the bill was charged in Canadian dollars with a very poor exchange rate. I pointed this out to the waiter and he said he can’t change it so I paid. This is the first time this has happened on my Europe trip using my Wise card. Even used it at the same restaurant this morning and it processed in euros. I then asked the server if they could reverse the charge so I could pay the correct amount in cash euros. He said this could not be done. When I got home, I noticed the printed receipt has a note saying “I have been offered the choice of currency”. I clearly wasn’t given a choice. Someone is taking advantage of me. Either the vendor or the the transaction company ‘flat pay’
