I've been to this restaurant several times and have always left satisfied. It's a family-run business. Three brothers make food as it should be, using quality, fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it.

One of the very few remaining restaurants—truly authentic, serving excellent seafood. Family-run for two generations. Much better than the restaurants with balconies (we tried them), where you pay for the ambiance rather than the food.

A restaurant offering traditional Sicilian cuisine in Milan's Bovisa district. The atmosphere is simple and homey, and the service is attentive and friendly. We ordered a mixed antipasto and a Sicilian-style fish trio: all the dishes were delicious, and the portions were generous. The bill was reasonable.

I went because I was invited after a communion. This family-run restaurant specializes in seafood: a mother serves with her son, and another son is the head chef; the father, a Sicilian and the founder, passed away a few years ago. I ate excellently; the fish was all fresh (nothing frozen), and my wife, who doesn't eat fish, had a very respectable seafood menu. The only downside is the ambiance, which is clearly dated: the two dining rooms are in need of a radical renovation.

Dinner with friends on Saturday evening. The restaurant was full but with well-spaced tables, the service was always attentive, and the appetizers and main course were delicious. The wine list was decent but reasonably priced and catered for all tastes. The price was absolutely fair for what we ate. Finally, the owner was friendly, which is not at all a given. A positive experience. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.

Antica Trattoria Monlue

07/08/2026: This very discreet trattoria is located in a small village near Milan Linate Airport. In a charmingly vintage atmosphere, you can enjoy delicious traditional dishes. We ordered tuna, salmon, and sea bass carpaccio, followed by lemon fish risotto and tiramisu for dessert. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable.
