Just one word: cotoletta. The best I've ever eaten in my life was here. The appetizers were also excellent (we tried a bit of everything since we were a group of 10) and the chocolate cake was truly exquisite; I recommend saving room for dessert.
Besides the food, the service was also perfect: attentive and fast. Not to mention the location: a little gem that seems to be nestled in a rural area, far from the chaos of the city.
If you want traditional Milanese food but prefer the tranquility of the countryside, this is the place for you! Highly recommended.

I've been away from this ancient trattoria for many years, but the return to this enchanting and charming place is still in my heart: this medieval village, and in particular the trattoria, whose name derives from the ancient "Mons Luparium," was mentioned by Manzoni in his novel "The Betrothed." The trattoria is under new management, very attentive to its customers, and the atmosphere has remained sophisticated, welcoming, and vintage. The dishes are elegantly presented and in generous portions, some of which are revisited traditional recipes, such as veal ossobuco in gremolada served with saffron risotto, the traditional Milanese veal cutlet with skin-on baked potatoes, arugula, and cherry tomatoes, the Sicilian-style eggplant caponata with raisins and pine nuts, with ancient flavors, and the sublime house artichoke. Reliable and experienced managers, clean and elegant premises, wines such as Morellino di Scansano DOCG Cerreto Piano, delicious and balanced with hints of red fruit, spices, and floral notes of rose, and other fine and selected wines. There is an outdoor area for the spring/summer months. The staff is efficient and fast. Reservations are required. I recommend trying the ossobuco. The restaurant offers prices commensurate with the class of this exclusive trattoria. The chef is first-rate. Top marks.

This is a Must go-place if you are in Milan! The most beautiful ambiance and welcoming atmosphere in the outskirts of Milan.
The food is excellent, we tried both the typical Milan dishes as osso buco with saffron risotto and veal cutlet as asparagus risotto and sea bass.
It´s cosy and interesting, historical interior design added even more value to the experience.
