11/05/2024: I highly recommend this restaurant. It was the most pleasant place we visited during our week in Taormina. Everything we ordered was really very tasty, homemade and of high quality. But what impressed me most was the service. Always welcoming, friendly, very attentive attitude and atmosphere. It was nice to feel such an attitude and enjoy the incredible tastes of Sicilian cuisine.

24/03/2024: Simply terrible! What saddens me most is that in a place like this you end up eating a horrible cut of tuna. Absolutely wrong cooking, I even had doubts about the quality of the fish, given that in some places it had a strange taste. Furthermore, as a side dish, a badly fried artichoke that leaked oil and was cloying on the palate. The appetizer and the service were appreciated but in a quality restaurant you cannot afford to offer dishes like this. Finally, I left the second one and no one bothered to ask why and I honestly felt ashamed for them to point it out. I will not return.

28/02/2024: this is a great restaurant, friendly service + nice atmosphere but the truffle pasta was not al dente. Very hard to chew. The bread was to much on the side for 1 Person. Cute little starter - i think it was a little omelette. But im sure the pasta was an accident. I will definitely go back to try the fish. My italian was sadly to bad to give a friendly feedback :(

05/04/2024: Wow, my last restaurant visit in Sicily and the best so far. If you don't come to eat here, you haven't been to Sicily. The food was very delicious, the service was very attentive, the atmosphere was very appealing and the patron had everything in view. I'll be back on my next trip to Sicily. A very clear recommendation!!!

04/04/2024: A classical Trattoria with very efficient and friendly service. The food was very good with perfectly cooked pasta, tasty swordfish and surprisingly good desserts.

05/05/2024: Good restaurant but certainly unwelcoming and very slow. It is advisable to take fish, meat is to be avoided. We ordered a plate of scallops with lemon but we had to send it back, no one cared why and we even had to pay for it!! Too bad, because some dishes weren't even bad.

17/03/2024: Oggi 17 marzo 2024 ho riprovato a prenotare per l'ennesima volta dopo una settimana di tentativi,rispondendomi sempre una signora che mi rimandava a ritelefonare per parlare col titolare, da giorno 10 marzo fino al 17 marzo in cui mi è stato detto che ormai per il primo aprile è tutto pieno.Questa signora che non sa nemmeno dove sta di casa (e gli avevo dato il cognome) mi ha detto che non ero scritto nella lista...delusione totale.Non siete l'unico agriturismo.

02/05/2024: I had already been to this restaurant in the past and I returned after many years, the place is the same, the food is always of excellent quality but with some flaws in the service, for example we had to request the bread and unfortunately it wasn't fresh that day. I will definitely return

01/04/2024: We visited on Easter Monday and they had like a set menu. They offered Meat and Fish antipasti, pasta and for mains mixed grill of meat amd fish. They greeted us with fredh bruschetta and ee opted to try both antipasti. The dishes kept on coming we had cold antipasti first and then warm antipasti. As main we took the mixed grill of meat and a ravioli with mushrooms. Which was more than enough for four people infact we took some packed food with us. To finish off our lunch we were presented with two different types of sweets, some pineapple and lemon sorbet. The portions are amazing, delightful taste and the price so little.

31/03/2024: I booked a table on Easter Sunday on thefork, and after 2 hours on the road we discovered that the place was closed and furthermore when we called the number no one answered. I strongly advise against booking here, terrible and disappointing experience.

02/04/2024: The dishes are superb, I loved the couscous, the fish skewers, the fresh pasta with shellfish etc. practically in 3 days of holiday we only had dinner here. Fantastic!

17/02/2024: I was in Erice, my brother-in-law had recommended this restaurant to me as he had gone there last year. I have I ate everything at the Fish Base and it was all delicious and above all fresh, I recommend it. And we didn't wait long even though the place was full.
