11/12/2025: We've frequented this restaurant before, always with a group, and we're happy to return whenever we're in Palermo. The cuisine caters to all needs (celiac disease, various intolerances, special requests, etc.). We thank Mr. Paolo's family, especially his father for his hospitality, and the guys—Giuseppe, who was so friendly and helpful, and young Flavio, who waited on us.
06/12/2025: A restaurant I hope to return to very soon! Impeccable service, excellent products, great attention to presentation. They convey the passion and care they put into their work, communicating with customers with great honesty. If I could, I'd give it six stars!

We chose the €60 set menu, which was delicious from start to finish.
Everything is homemade (focaccia, pasta, chutney).
The service was excellent, warm, and efficient.
We highly recommend this restaurant, which deserves more than 4.5 stars!
The manager, Giovanni, is very accommodating.

22/11/2025: The strength of the restaurant is Antonio himself, the owner of the restaurant, who with his presence gives you the assurance of quality food in a well-kept environment.
22/11/2025: This was fantastic. The raw fish was so fresh and delicious. The main course, Sicilian-style tuna and sea bass, was incredibly good. Excellent service, excellent and wide selection of wines. The locals love eating here, and we completely understand why.

26/11/2025: We went to this little place near Piazza Politeama with friends. It was a pleasant surprise. The pizza was excellent, and the appetizer was delicious. The waiters were friendly and professional. I recommend it, especially since it's away from the chaos of the city center. I'll be back.

01/12/2025: Il Re di Girgenti is a restaurant that brings authentic Sicilian cuisine to the table, with dishes rich in tradition and freshness. The restaurant is welcoming, with a rustic atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home.
The service is friendly and professional. I tried the seafood couscous, flavorful and well-balanced, and the Sicilian-style rabbit, tender and rich in flavor. Desserts, such as cassata, are the perfect ending to a truly satisfying dinner.
The prices are appropriate for the quality of the dishes and ingredients. An excellent choice for those who love Sicilian cuisine prepared with passion and fresh ingredients.

The staff is extremely kind and warm, just like the welcoming Sicilians.
The highlight is the dishes—WOW! You can taste the sea in your mouth! The freshest produce, including magnificent raw ham. The first courses are an explosion of flavors, yet balanced, but the fried food is a cloud.
I recommend booking.

15/09/2025: We had a lovely outdoor seating on one of the small balconies and had a lovely evening overall.
During the meal, we had the impression that it was more show than substance – not a single one of the five courses on the tasting menu (€60) was truly impressive. Almost all of the dishes had dots of the same mustard cream on the plate?!?
The service was polite but not warm and not always present.

07/12/2025: Unbeatable value for money. A small place in the city center (next to the courthouse), not very big but cozy enough, easy to get to, and the staff is attentive and always friendly. The only downside is finding parking.
It's now become a go-to place for me.
20/11/2025: A place where you can eat well at a good price, the staff is friendly, every time I go to Catania it's my go-to place for food... I recommend it.

15/11/2025: I spent some time working in the province of Bologna with my team (all Neapolitans), and this restaurant never made us miss Naples for a single day; it felt like home. Impeccable staff, a refined atmosphere, and simply amazing cuisine. I recommend it to everyone.
