11/07/2025: A small restaurant on a busy street, with limited seating outside and just as few inside. The atmosphere is welcoming, but perhaps a bit overdone, with references to Sicilian tradition. The food, featuring various traditional Sicilian dishes, didn't really satisfy us... The sarde a beccafico were full of bones and tasteless. The pasta alla Norma was even worse: it was overcooked (but probably had that consistency due to the absence of gluten) and had a strange, sour, lemon-like flavor, the origin of which we couldn't quite figure out, especially since it has nothing to do with that pasta. The eggplant parmigiana, much better than the previous two dishes, had some eggplant peel that was a bit too thick. The fried seafood in a tile and the billionaire's pizza were average. The staff were kind, fairly present, and friendly. Unfortunately, one of us barely ate anything, and when we reported the problem, we received a somewhat unconvincing response and no discount at the register, not even a symbolic one. We also had to wait a long time, even though there weren't many people there. We were quite disappointed!

07/07/2025: Please do yourself a favour while visiting Savoca, and walk down the hill to Gelso Nero. You will experience an incredible view, taste delicious homemade pasta, and wonderful desserts. A hidden gem!

30/06/2025: Very good food and a great atmosphere with a fantastic view of the Valley of the Temples. Excellent service, especially from Enza.

20/06/2025: The terrace has beautiful views and the service is very good, but the price is excessive for the quality of the food. 77 euros for two people for one main course, one glass of wine, and one coffee per person. Totally overpriced for Sicily.

29/06/2025: Este es un pequeño restaurante escondido con muy buena comida y en general una buena ubicación. Yo daría fácilmente 5 estrellas, pero el servicio no es bueno. El camarero más joven es gruñón, desatenta y lenta lo que simplemente me obliga a dirigir una estrella. En general, es un gran restaurante y lo recomiendo totalmente, pero prepárese para un servicio mediocre (que es bastante poco común para Italia).

14/07/2025: An incredible outdoor Sicilian vibe, with the notes of live piano music decorating our ambience. The service was attentive, and the food very well thought out in every dish. The cappuccino was also good. Perfect alley breakfast/lunch stop.

14/06/2025: Had a lovely dinner at piero e lella ristorante. Located in a secluded courtyard away from the street the food was beautiful. It was aell priced and the service was amazing! Despite the language barrier our hostess took pains to ensure that we understood the menu. Our favourite dishes were the panna cotta and the rabbit. We also had a chickpea starter dish which was very tasty. Highly recommend!

16/07/2025: Nice surprise. We had dinner facing the sea. We had a very good evening thanks to Alissia 😊who speaks very good French and was able to advise us, particularly regarding my gluten intolerance. We had a seafood risotto, accompanied by a glass of white wine. It was very good. 😋We will definitely come back before the end of the week. Just one downside, the chairs sink into the pebbles, which is surprising 🙃

29/06/2025: The Eremiti di Sicilia tavern is a nice restaurant that you will find in the alleys of old Palermo, a few steps from the church of San Giovanni degli Eremiti, a Norman jewel. We had busiate alla norma, revisited with the addition of a burattina. The dish is pleasant but I would have remained faithful to the traditional recipe. The mezzepccheri alla trapanese are very good. The roast alla palermitana is good.
