Truly delicious, and finally with a professional chef. The seafood lunch (cod bonbon, citrus spaghetti, and fried fish without burnt oil) was truly delicious, I must say, and there was a wide selection of wines and spirits. Well done!

It's not an osteria. In my opinion, it's one of those restaurants that call themselves osterias, but aren't. I like real osterias, hence the disappointment.
That said: the restaurant has good food and a good wine selection. The service was appropriately courteous and punctual, the food fresh and tasty, well-cooked, and the portions were not large. The fruit dessert option was very welcome. The prices are moderately high, like those of a restaurant, not an osteria, and are consistent with the offerings. Outdoor seating is available on the street. According to the sign on the door, dogs are not allowed inside.
I'll paste here the Treccani definition of "Osteria": "In the past, an inn where one could eat and find lodging. Today, a public place, modest and popular in tone, serving wine and often also offering trattoria-style service."

Lovely restaurant. They need more customers. There was not much atmosphere because barely anyone in it we ate there on a Thursday evening.
Food was excellent and beautifully presented. Staff was nice and have good English. They just pulled the plates away too quickly.

they kindly let us in without a booking on a saturday evening. our pasta course was very nice but the antipasti and secondo were not unfortunately. the beef was not well cooked, the pureed potatoes were cold, and the beans very overdone, sadly. it was trying to be a bit too fancy possibly.

A fantastic "golden nugget after a long search"—that's how I'd describe the experience at Osteria Poerio!
Ambience 8/10: Delicate, elegant, yet welcoming, the entire space is surrounded by a mosaic of wines and spirits, where you can lose yourself and be captivated.
Dishes: I had the opportunity to try several dishes:
-CHIANINA RAVIOLONI 8/10: Delicate, with just the right amount of truffle flavor to add just the right touch without overpowering the rest. 8/10
-CARNAROLI RICE WITH ARTICHOKES, BACON, AND PECORINO 8/10: The delicacy continues throughout this dish, with the artichoke flavor being perfect and unobtrusive.
- SPAGHETTONI CACIO E PEPE 8/10: I'm usually reluctant to try traditional dishes at unusual places like this, but after tasting their cacio e pepe, I'll probably have to reevaluate my approach. It's clear proof that attention to detail can complement tradition itself. It's definitely worth a try, nothing more to add!
- KOBE BEEF 8/10: I give it an 8 because I don't want to overstate it given my limited experience with this type of meat. The tenderness and cooking process envelop the palate like the light touch of a muse on an innocent's face. I hope to try other cuts of this meat here in the future!
-FILLET WITH GREEN PEPPER 8/10: The temptation to give this a 9 is strong, just like the quality of the dish itself! A delicate preparation that pays homage to the cut of meat itself. What would I call it? "An experience"!
PISTACHIO CHEESCAKE 9/10: I couldn't help but give it a 9 here, given the perfect ending to this culinary experience, a non-traditional dish with extraordinary flavor. Nothing more to add.
WINES/SPIRITS 10/10: To accompany the evening, an excellent Bordeaux that we had the house select, and a personally selected MACCALLAN AMBER to accompany dessert.
Service 8/10: Wonderful service, kind and always available for anything. Always professional yet welcoming.
PRICES: Personally, the prices are perfectly in line with the quality of the experience. It's a high-end venue; I obviously wouldn't recommend it to those on a budget. It must be said that you can have an excellent, complete experience (including starter, main course, dessert, wine, and spirits) even for just €90 per person. Of course, it also offers the opportunity to experience something even more superior.
PERSONAL RATING 8/10: I'll definitely be back to try other dishes on their menu. If you're looking for an experience, this is the place!
