There's pasta, pizza, and even Roman-style tripe. I tried the tripe but wasn't convinced. The pasta was tasty, of a good standard, and large portions for 15 euros. Two people paid 60 euros. #rome #roma

Tempio di Micinate is one of those Roman spots that welcomes you with the feeling of a cozy Sunday at home. The host, Francesco, is a total gem: warm, attentive, professional, and with that "cool guy" vibe that makes you feel you made the right choice the moment you sit down. The food was superb: • Lasagna with ragù, rich, homemade, with that flavor that only comes from cooking with time. • Paccheri, the wide, tube-like pasta you were trying to decipher, perfect for soaking up the sauce. • Spaghetti with salmon sauce, smooth, balanced, and beautifully executed. • And the perfect ending: a homemade-style tiramisu, served by the spoonful, as it should be in Italy. Creamy, rich, the kind that makes you smile without even trying. To drink: a beer, an Aperol Spritz, and a glass of Cesanese, the classic red wine from Lazio, intense, aromatic, and perfect to accompany Roman cuisine. The service was impeccable, attentive, friendly, and truly warm. A place that seems hidden but embraces you like family. Highly recommended if you're in Rome.
