A good place for Roman first courses and Roman pinsas. Unfortunately, the service was a bit chaotic and inattentive. First, for a table of seven, they brought two first courses, then two more (by then the first two had finished), then two more (and four had finished), and then, at my request, my first course, but after another fifteen minutes (making me think they'd completely forgotten about my first course and leaving me to eat alone...).

A wonderful experience. The food was truly excellent in quality and quantity. I think I've tasted the best gricia in Rome. The waiters were also super friendly. Truly exceptional.

We went because we were intrigued by the thousands of videos we saw online. Excellent organization, lots of people serving, and minimal wait between courses. The appetizers were good, the carbonara was really generous, but especially the pappardelle with wild boar were fabulous. The pizza was "normal." The real highlight were the first courses.

26/06/2026: I would like to start with the service, it was very good, very helpful and kind, the food was amazing, well served, well timed, it was just fantastic, i would highly recommend this place:)
20/06/2026: Overall this place served nice food, the seafood was nice, I tried the clams and salmon pasta! Presentation was also nice with the restaurant looking very pretty. I definitely would come again. Its not 5 stars because I've had better food to eat, but it was definitely still nice.

03/07/2026: Recommended by a friend, it was almost perfect. We only had the first courses, which were excellently cooked and had a wonderful blend of flavors. Highly recommended. We'll be back to try the other first courses.
02/07/2026: This excellent historic restaurant in Monteverde Vecchio, Rome, has a family atmosphere, is well-attended, and serves high-quality Roman cuisine. The meat, fish, and pizza are excellent, and the first courses are interesting. They also make a superb paella, paired with a nice glass of sangria. As for desserts (all homemade), I can only recommend the hot zabaglione, made fresh in front of you in a copper pan, to serve with wild strawberries.
