Local restaurant where you can eat both traditional Roman dishes and pizza. Every day you can also find a menu of the day. The fried foods and desserts are also good. It is advisable to book, especially if you are in a group, because the place is always full. Ample on-street parking available.

I love artichokes, and they know how to cook them here. The pizza and fried foods are good, even the carbonara is done properly. The place is pleasant, fast service, excellent value for money

Small and welcoming restaurant offers many typical Roman dishes including Roman artichokes which according to many are delicious. The two of us paid around €50. Trained and kind waiters where the service was fast and the dishes very good. I recommend it above all also to those people who have to do competitions or any type of activity at Cecchignola, or for those who stay at the "Colour House" (holiday home a stone's throw from Cecchignola).

Trattoria tutta un po’ all’antica: nell’arredamento, incluse le tovaglie a scacchi, e nei piatti in menu - cosa che per me è positiva; meriterebbe decisamente più di tre stelle per come si è mangiato. Ma i tavoli sono troppo vicini, c’è un po’ di confusione e il servizio è troppo lento (ci hanno lasciato i piatti vuoti davanti per un bel po’). Ci ritornerò per capire se è stata “una giornata no”; e se troverò quantomeno il servizio più attento, sarò felice di dare un giudizio migliore.

06/04/2024: Mama Eat is a great restaurant with several locations throughout Italy - we also visited their location in Florence. They have an entirely separate kitchen for food ordered gluten-free, so everything is completely safe for those with Celiac disease. The pasta and pizza we got were both delicious. A great choice for celiacs and gluten-eaters alike. Strongly recommended!
