Everything was good and plentiful. Truly exceptional value for money.

A few issues, but a rustic and authentic atmosphere When we entered, the place was filled with smoke from the embers in the kitchen. We ordered several dishes, to try more. The pasta was very generous and succulent. The meatballs were good. The steak was very crispy. A few forgetful remarks in the service (we had to ask for our glasses after the wine arrived, as well as the bread. Our fork was taken away between the first and second courses but not replaced). The glasses had an unpleasant odor. The atmosphere was rustic and authentic, the classic rowdy atmosphere of old-fashioned Roman taverns (a tavern that sings in the kitchen and has friendly staff). But there's room for improvement in service and product quality.

A simple place, just the way I like it, where you can eat classic Roman cuisine. There were 4 of us, we ordered an appetizer with cured meats and cheeses for €12, followed by: 1 rigatoni alla gricia for €11, a rigatoni alla carbonara for €12, a rigatine all'amatriciana for €10, a tripe alla romana for €12 and a portion of sautéed chicory for €4.50. To drink, 2 liters of coke in a glass for €10, a natural one for €2.50 and a 66 liter beer for €3.50. What can I say, cured meats and cheeses are not bad in terms of quality and quantity, the rigatoni alla gricia that I tried were very generous both in quantity and in terms of guanciale and pecorino, but the only thing that didn't convince me was the cooking of the pasta, in my opinion it was too al dente, but nothing special. The other dishes consumed by my friends were also abundant and good. The staff was friendly and courteous. I found the bill to be fair and honest.

Browsing the internet, I was intrigued by the previous reviews, so I decided to give it a try. The food is delicious and plentiful, and the prices are excellent. I've been there twice already, and I'll be back. I want to try the entire menu.
