We went to this place, which was recommended to us by friends. It wasn't bad, the courtesy was unquestionable, but if I had to think of a place where I'd return to eat fish, it wouldn't be this one.

Chef Francesco's food was so delicious I was blown away! The owners and their wife, as well as all the staff, were so kind and friendly, I was able to relax and enjoy my meal, which made it hard to believe I was on vacation. The delicious food and warm hospitality made this an unforgettable experience. Thank you!

Er Pulentaro is that place that, after a week of work, finds you a table for Sunday lunch near Christmas. You can eat well, a lot, and pay just the right amount for fast, friendly service in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Definitely my favorite restaurant in the area!

05/05/2026: This restaurant serves roman classics with a modern twist. The food is excellent, the staff were kind and attentive, and the guests were a very friendly mix of locals and internationals. I found this place via this blog: https://luggageandlife.com/where-to-eat-in-rome/ they recommended reserving a table and I would too. The space has had a modern revamp and it feels like a very elevated dining experience with fun plating and delicious food and wine.
02/05/2026: We came here on the recommendation of a Roman acquaintance. The food was excellent; we had tuna tartare, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, and linguine with butter and anchovies. Everything was excellent, with generous portions. The atmosphere was quiet and simple.

09/06/2026: The experience was wonderful. We chose several different dishes, and since we don't speak Italian, we were having difficulty understanding the menu, but the staff were very helpful and polite, helping us understand everything. We had a wonderful and very pleasant evening. I highly recommend it.
30/05/2026: The food was excellent, but it was a shame there was too much pepper in the dishes. Worth a look.
