07/05/2026: In response: First of all, I wanted to abstain from commenting because, as you point out, I had to communicate my intolerance. You should write (by law) all the ingredients on that blackboard called the “menu” (even the Chinese know it by now) that was placed on a chair, especially if there is no trace of “tradition” (Gianna’s Bolognese cutlet, I don’t expect a brick of cream on top, it was an insult to Bologna and to Gianna. Write what you put on top since I see that I’m not the only one among the reviews who didn’t imagine this way of understanding a Bolognese cutlet). In crescentine I have always known/seen/eaten/made with dough where there was little presence of milk (on 1/2 kg of flour 140ml of milk, are you really saying/equating the presence of lactose in crescentine with that cutlet where there was almost 100ml of cream on top! Slightly different proportions and I ate 2 crescentine, not 10, luckily at this point) not as you say that you also put cream there, as SHE specified. Then thanks for the clarification at the table, I advise you for the next customers to connect "the facial expression" to what you say if you call it "kindness" to me, it only seemed arrogance and "annoyance" for the return of the dish, where due to your carelessness this happened. But I did well, I'm sorry to say, since those like me who had that dish had a stomach ache all night without even having an intolerance, but a normal stomach, so much cream is bad for anyone! Anyway, we've all learned our lesson, especially about where not to return. Edit: The mistake is not writing the ingredients on each dish or using cream to hide a lack of ability to create "new dishes." When you go to a traditional trattoria, you expect that, not what we all saw and ate yesterday. When one of us asked for a regular grilled steak, you couldn't even make that, I mean... come on... and not having a real menu is truly sad and risks these problems. Then, oh, my partner worked at the Abbazia di Monteveglio restaurant, perhaps he wants to discredit even such a twenty-year-old excellence, or perhaps he thinks he's talking to a fool who doesn't know what good Emilian cuisine is?! And I'm already sorry he continues with his arrogance, I'll do the same, but there's nothing "della Gianna" about it. Being local, I remember how it was eaten, and it wasn't what I saw yesterday. Out of 10 dishes, 5 had cream. Let's leave aside the tagliatelle with friggione, to season the tigelle and crescentine, very little for the two baskets ordered. Looking at the other reviews, some people like your food, good for you, but I repeat, don't think I was the only one who didn't appreciate it yesterday, on the contrary. What I recognize is the right balance between quality and price, both of which are in fact low. Your staff was very kind, it was your way of addressing the problem and why 1 star. Eating badly happens, but I can't stand this rudeness. A little self-criticism doesn't hurt. Oh, we were the largest table yesterday, and then there are people who eat fried cockroaches in China just to try it, so there are also those who love cream and will eat anything. If you want, we can continue the back-and-forth like this. Have a good day, good work, and I wish you the best.

The waiters were super friendly and accommodating. I'm really happy with this dinner and recommend it to anyone passing through, especially to try the mascarpone cream.

We sat down for a quick first course, but ended up eating two each due to the incredible quality of the ingredients. You can also buy fresh pasta, and the staff's kindness is unparalleled. 01/04/2026: Quick midweek lunch. I'm celiac and had one of the best gluten-free Bolognese cutlets I've ever tasted, accompanied by fries. Gluten-free dishes are marked with an arugula leaf, which is always a good thing! They also have a few gluten-free pasta shapes: spaghetti, penne, and tagliatelle.
29/03/2026: A welcoming, typical Emilian trattoria, excellent prices, generous, high-quality dishes. (The Bolognese cutlet is very good and even huge, pictured, and shared between two.)

13/04/2026: We had a great experience at Trattoria Monte Adone. We really enjoyed the tortelloni with truffles and the ravioli with mushrooms. The grilled meats are also of high quality, and there's a good selection of wines. The portions aren't small at all, so it's a recommended place, especially if you're passing through the Via degli Dei. The only caveat: the prices aren't the cheapest; this trattoria could be a little better.

04/04/2026: Six of us arrived for dinner after making a reservation over the phone on Wednesday evening. The place is small but nice. We'd eaten there many times before. The lady who seated us and served us the entire evening had an unacceptable, almost aggressive, attitude. Anyone can have a bad day—some of us work in the restaurant industry—but such rudeness toward someone who's out enjoying a fun evening with friends is absolutely not acceptable. The food was mediocre, nothing special, and the bread wasn't served until the plates arrived, I imagine to prevent people from eating it first and asking for seconds. In short, zero hospitality. We, who are from Bologna, will definitely never return.

28/12/2025: DONT COME HERE, SCAM! So the place is only a counter. Before I ordered I asked them, can you sit down somewhere. The lady replied - yes, across the street. She didnt mentioned thou that if you want to sit down there you have to order something to drink. It is a matter of principle, if they dont inform you about a hidden cost, then you dont pay. Cheapskates. The prices are the same as anywhere else, the food is below average for Italian standards. They give it to you in a lame plastic container. Unfriendly, no atmosphere, rude.
16/12/2025: The pumpkin tortelloni open up during cooking, the gnocchi are very firm with a faint potato flavour.

02/05/2026: I have a new favorite restaurant here in Bologna! The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and always ready, helpful, and attentive. The food is truly excellent! There's both a meat and fish menu, and pizzas are also available in the evening. We had fish, and what can I say, it was delicious!!! Highly recommended!

11/05/2026: Nothing special. Trattoria in the center of Bologna, good food but nothing exceptional. I recommend the tagliatelle alla bolognese, cooked just right and tasty. The tiramisu, however, was very dry; I wouldn't recommend it. The place is very old and could use a major renovation (including the bathroom).
10/05/2026: Fantastic food and service. The food is authentic and very well prepared. The service is just right- they make you feel seen as a guest without trying to sell you more than you want. I can warmly recommend this place!

02/04/2026: Found it by chance online. Delicious, carefully prepared, and unique food, a family atmosphere, and the company of our dog. We felt at home, as if we'd been customers for a while. We would have chatted endlessly after dinner with the staff who welcomed us, but we were the last customers, so we let them go and rest. We'll definitely be back.

04/03/2026: In the Navile area, just off exit 5 of the Tangenziale, we tried this restaurant for lunch, which seems to belong to another world. The owner is fantastic, both in his insight and his friendliness, the waitresses are smart and knowledgeable, and the dishes are incredibly delicious. Egg with truffle and eggplant meatballs as appetizers, saffron risotto and rabbit as first courses, and the inevitable vanilla ice cream drizzled with balsamic vinegar. With a mezzana of Sangiovese and two coffees, we spent €106 for two. More than fair: Highly recommended!
28/02/2026: A high-end restaurant serving top-quality dishes. Excellent selection of dishes, quite extensive without being overbearing, with original and traditional options. Service by friendly staff and a charming manager, delicious bread and breadsticks! Fantastic venison tortelloni and truly delicious Angus steak, tender and flavorful meat, baked potatoes just like grandma's. Simple but perfect choices. Even the more unusual dishes ordered by friends at our table were truly excellent. The pure Merlot was perfect. The Passito and desserts were good, especially the crème caramel. The price was high, but that was expected regardless. Recommended for an elegant, high-quality dinner.

27/12/2025: The place is very nice looking, but unfortunately the first courses weren't very good, the appetizer was so-so, and they rushed us to get up from the table. They have two lunch shifts, and with 15 minutes left, they started rushing us to pay and get up from the table.
