20/03/2025: This is a hidden gem of a restaurant, where locals come and eat delicious food. The tortellini con crema di parmigiano was absolutely delicious, as was the cotoletta alla bolognese. A must and we will certainly return. Thank you for a tasty food and pleasant evening.

29/04/2025: World class pasta dishes! We also had a grill plate for 2 people, which was more than enough, and 2 bottles from the beautifully curated wine list. Will definitely come back!

25/05/2025: We were very impressed with everything about this place, the food was uniquely delicious, the service impeccable, the atmosphere Italian, the wine… mamma mia! That's why we went back, we only tried the pizzas both times, as we liked them very much. I recommend with both hands 🥂

21/05/2025: We had the seafood spaghetti and a Capricciosa pizza. The spaghetti was decent, but unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend the pizza. The dough was quite dense and heavy, which made it hard to enjoy, though the toppings were okay. Prices were fairly reasonable for the area — pretty much the same as elsewhere. The wine was opened in front of us, and so was the sparkling water, which was a nice touch. Service was okay overall, although they forgot about us when we asked for the bill… maybe they wanted to offer us a gift 😅

30/04/2025: Very welcoming place, with a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is fast, kind and professional. The parking in front is not very large, but if you take a few steps towards the back you will find a space. The possibility of following sporting events on TV is excellent. Very varied menu, including cuisine and pizza (thin but really good). Wide choice of beers, for all tastes. There are a few more options missing for those who are vegan or vegetarian, but overall the offer is good. The place is also wheelchair accessible, both for the entrance and for the internal spaces. Advised!

10/05/2025: In my memory the quality of the first courses was better: Tortellino mediocre, gramigna too thin, tagliatella good. I think it is the only restaurant in the city that does not skip the pasta but serves it plain and puts the sauce on top. The rabbit is excellent. I found the service a bit absent, maybe because the waiter is young and would need some input. For the price charged it could be better.

18/04/2025: When you are welcomed and served with a smile you immediately understand that you have chosen the right restaurant... exquisite tortellini in broth! But also guinea fowl and tagliatelle. A beautiful discovery.

02/05/2025: The staff is hard-working and hard-working but unfortunately half of the order is forgotten. Although you have to write the order down on a piece of paper yourself. The food is supposed to be good but mine was tasteless. The portions are well organized. The atmosphere is modern but not comfortable. The furniture was chosen for robustness and minimalism and looks like IKEA (Swedish style). There is no parking space directly at the restaurant, but there is a parking space within walking distance.

28/04/2025: Super fresh pasta restaurant and shop, among the best in the province! I've been there several times for lunch and it's delicious! Even at peak times it is difficult to find a seat! Advised!

21/05/2025: Very tasty food and very friendly staff. We had beef fillet (tagliata) and ragout tagliatelle. Both were excellent! The house wine frizante was top quality. Very good value for money. I highly recommend it!

15/05/2025: HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE! They actually make an effort to be rude… My Regret Is Ever Bringing Business Here This was my fourth—and definitely last—time eating at this restaurant. I’ve regularly brought my team here during our trips to Bologna because of the beautiful view and the quality of the traditional food. The service was never impressive, but we tolerated it for the scenery and cuisine. We asked to split the bill—something that had already been agreed upon with our lovely waitress Maddy. She was excellent. Then another male waiter came over, ignored one of the girls who politely said she’d only had a drink, and without hesitation charged the entire bill to her card. He said “grazie” and walked off. No confirmation, no clarification—just blatant disregard. Despite being the first to arrive, we were the only table that didn’t receive bread, even though we paid the coperto. When we went to the till to address the issue, the man there didn’t offer an apology. He didn’t refund the coperto, either. He simply refunded the entire bill charged to the wrong person, so we could re-pay individually for what we each had. That’s the bare minimum—not service recovery. To make matters worse, while we were still at the till discussing the situation, another waitress shoved past us without a single “excuse me,” clearly irritated by our presence. It was unnecessarily spiteful and perfectly summed up the hostile energy we received throughout the meal. My biggest regret is having brought so much business to a place that, frankly, doesn’t deserve it. Bologna is full of fantastic restaurants with incredible food. What sets any establishment apart is how it treats its guests—and here, it’s clear they just don’t care. Lose the waitstaff with attitude and hire people who understand what customer service actually means. Good food isn’t enough if your customers leave feeling disrespected and angry. Cheers!

13/04/2025: All good all good arrived 1230 unfortunately at 2pm we went without coffee and dessert, kitchen haywire, I hope our bad luck.

13/04/2025: The food was also good but the owner's manner is not welcoming. Many may like him, but he made me feel uncomfortable. When I go to a restaurant I want to feel welcome, I don't want to feel made fun of. I hope you take this as constructive criticism and understand that not everyone likes this way of doing catering. I don't think I will go back and I definitely won't recommend the place.

23/05/2025: The best dinner we had in Bologna. The food is very spectacular every single bite, authentically. I love their bologense ragù. They make the Bologna so proud. The restaurant vibe is very welcoming. Staff is very attentive. You really need to go there. Stop reading and book it now!

22/05/2025: We chose Trattoria del Rosso recommended by a friend and expectations were not disappointed. Friggione accompanied by crescentine, lasagna alla bolognese, tortelloni walnuts leeks and saffron, cotoletta alla bolognese, tenerina with mascarpone cream, all really excellent. The service was very fast, no flaws. I think it is more or less in line with the prices of the competition. Recommended place.

17/05/2025: On the SS64 highway (Italy) between Bologna and Altedo, lies the Trattoria Del Gallo. A place where the service, atmosphere, and menu offer the opportunity to taste authentic and original Bolognese cuisine. Michell and the rest of the staff allowed us to enjoy a pleasant, family-oriented experience. Thank you very much for everything. 100% recommended. *****

14/05/2025: What can I say?! We ate really well. Tortellini really good, very small as per tradition. Pros: large portions, excellent quality, rather fast service (when we went it wasn't very busy, so I can't say if it's always like that), friendly staff. Cons: I honestly don't know.

02/05/2025: Dinner with colleagues on the advice of one of them, it's a shame that the location is hidden under a building but everything else is advisable, particular and excellent cuisine, good advice on dishes and wine. Price in line with the proposal.

25/04/2025: HORROR, TO SAY LITTLE! There were 12 of us, with a menu agreed in advance which included: a first course of tortelloni with butter and sage, a second course with side dishes, and a risotto as an alternative for the three people in the group who cannot eat wheat. What can I say... a horrible experience. Three hours of hell. We had a reservation for 12.15pm and, at 11.45am, we called to say we were 10 minutes late. Already during that phone call we heard the manager start complaining and insulting, for no reason. Once we arrive at the restaurant, we sit down. They immediately ask us if they can start serving the first courses. At that point we ask how they intend to manage the risotto for those who cannot eat fresh pasta. The waiter snorts and starts treating us very badly, claiming that we had never agreed on anything like this and asking who we had spoken to. Obviously, we had spoken to the owner. It was he himself, when choosing the menu, who suggested the risotto to us, as long as it did not contain asparagus (which, obviously, was the basis of the risotto that was served to us). When they finally convince themselves to prepare it, we ask what vegetables it will contain. Another odyssey: they vaguely tell us "seasonal vegetables", without specifying anything. One of the girls in the group was pregnant and had a medical condition that meant she could not eat mushrooms. Guess what was in the risotto? That's right, mushrooms. We were seated facing the kitchen and clearly heard constant insults directed at our table. An embarrassment and a gratuitous malice that, even today, I struggle to explain. The waitress, then, was alarmingly rude: as soon as we entered I tried to greet her three times, without receiving a response, only a hostile look. The service was shocking: we asked for two extra portions of baked potatoes, and they responded by snorting. To my mother, who doesn't eat meat and for whom a plate of only vegetables had been provided, the waiter practically threw the plate on the table saying, in an annoyed tone: "It's for the vegetables, ma'am!". At that point we were afraid to even ask for salt. In the end we reported everything to the room manager, who was complicit in the abrupt and rude treatment. He seemed aware of the situation and tried to apologize, saying that Dino, the chef and owner, had forgotten about our conversation. Sometimes, unfortunately, good food is completely overshadowed by bad manners. I don't deny that the cuisine is excellent, but it's not enough. Never again.
