10/11/2025: The quality has definitely deteriorated compared to previous years. The prices are in line with other restaurants, the wine was good and so was the dessert, but unfortunately, the rest was very disappointing.

18/10/2025: The restaurant is a lovely rustic restaurant reccomended to us by our hotel and which we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was so good we actually came back again for more. It was very popular, would reccomended booking in advance, but the food was great and you can get a table if you arrive early.
16/10/2025: I would say this is a great place to eat. Food was superior. Very happy they had Armagnac. I personally ordered the braised cheek with masked potatoes. The house chianti was nice. Service was great. Only issue is there was a long wait for one of our dishes to come out. Recommend!

The dishes were all delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The wine they recommended was also very good. Furthermore, the service was quick but not stressful, giving us time to catch our breath between courses. Recommended!

07/10/2025: The traditional dishes were very well prepared! I also recommend the beef tartare, which was very tasty! The service was quick and the prices were fair. The highlight of this restaurant is its beautiful setting, which is truly charming. The only downside is that it was quite loud, but that's to be expected for such a popular place.
05/10/2025: We stopped because the place is really nice, but the welcome from the manager was not at all appreciated: he was unfriendly both towards us and the employees (who, however, seemed knowledgeable and patient).
A constant display of superiority, decidedly poorly expressed.
In any case, good value for money.

10/10/2025: A real Italian restaurant that has been serving for 120 years. It would be a great loss to come to Bologna and not to come here. Ambiance is perfect, service is excellent.
We ordered a Tagliatelle al ragu and a Stretta alla Romagnola. It was our 3rd dinner in Bologna and it was by far the best.
I especially highly recommend Stretta alla Romagnola, it was a masterpiece.
10/10/2025: What can I say about this restaurant that hasn’t already been said? It was a great experience all around. Thank you to the front desk staff of Starwood Excelsior for getting us the reservation.
