04/04/2026: Six of us arrived for dinner after making a reservation over the phone on Wednesday evening. The place is small but nice. We'd eaten there many times before. The lady who seated us and served us the entire evening had an unacceptable, almost aggressive, attitude. Anyone can have a bad day—some of us work in the restaurant industry—but such rudeness toward someone who's out enjoying a fun evening with friends is absolutely not acceptable. The food was mediocre, nothing special, and the bread wasn't served until the plates arrived, I imagine to prevent people from eating it first and asking for seconds. In short, zero hospitality. We, who are from Bologna, will definitely never return.

06/04/2026: Fantastic experience! The atmosphere is quiet and familiar, the food excellent, and you can taste all of Emilia in the dishes. The staff is super welcoming. It's a shame we didn't try the pasta dishes: we'll have to come back to try those too!

11/04/2026: Delicious! Mashed potatoes just like my nanny used to make, who would be 126 today! Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and mixed boiled meats. The owners were incredibly kind. We hadn't been able to book, so we waited, and after about 20 minutes we were finally seated. If you book, remember that after 15 minutes late, your table will be given away. The trifle was truly delicious.

19/04/2026: We arrived right at 12pm on a Sunday and managed to get a walk in table. This place is excellent. Some of the best food we had on our trip. The Parmigiano Reggiano, Green Lasagne, and Cutlet with Truffle Sauce all stood out. Great service as well.

18/04/2026: We had dinner at this osteria on our last night and it was a great choice. The service was very friendly and quick, and the food was delicious. They have gluten-free options. I definitely recommend it. One thing to keep in mind is that it's a small place, so reservations are necessary.

It's hard to find a table, so just get there early. Friendly and professional staff. Typical Bolognese dishes made according to tradition. I highly recommend it to everyone, whether they're from Bologna or not... I dare you!

19/04/2026: Beautiful location with a view of Bologna. We celebrated my daughter's graduation. Everything was delicious, from the cured meats with gnocchi and artichoke tart (really good), to the delicious first courses (tortelli and lasagna), and the sliced ​​steak and honey-baked guinea fowl. The staff were wonderful and very kind. The cake was also delicious (the one I brought and bought from Regina di Quadri). Absolutely everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back.

04/04/2026: We went on holiday to Italy and our first stop was Bologna. This restaurant is unassuming from the outside, but the food is truly fantastic! You're greeted like family, and the atmosphere transports you back to the good old days of Italy. The price is justified, as you can taste the high quality of the ingredients.

What we ate was unquestionable: the dishes were good, the ingredients were local, and you could clearly sense the care and craftsmanship behind each course. The presentation and explanations were also meticulous, which is certainly commendable. That said, while everything was enjoyable, nothing really left an impression on us. The flavors were good, but there was nothing exceptional, nothing surprising, or suggestive of a unique taste. The dishes that make you want to return are missing. The price is high, and perhaps this can be justified by the restaurant's accolades. However, my personal opinion is that, despite the food being good, I found nothing memorable: a pleasant experience, but not one that would make me want to return.
