16/05/2026: A very well-kept and pleasant restaurant, even in the garden area. The menu isn't overly extensive, but it offers a good selection, allowing you to choose the dishes best suited to your hunger and tastes. The dishes we tried were of good quality, both in terms of ingredients and preparation, and the price was quite reasonable for a place like Bologna, which is very expensive. Overall, very satisfying and highly recommended.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, downgrading from 5 stars to 1, because mistakes can happen, but if they're as serious as they were tonight, they deserve an apology. And I won't go into the merits of the mistake, which was extremely serious.

20/05/2026: Very good place to eat, I recommend making sure you have a reservation.
The tigelle with the white pesto are amazing, I would eat that every day if I could!
I recommend trying their pasta (primi), they are all very good.
The only dish I don't recommend is the plate of boiled meats (which is literally just a plate of boiled meats) as their most vegetable-like side dish is fried zucchini

01/06/2026: We had lunch at this osteria and had a great time, with reasonable prices. We were two couples.
We ordered:
- Appetizers: Crescentine with cured meats and squacquerone cheese
- First courses: Tagliatelle with ragù, Gramigna with sausage, and Tortelloni alla balanzoni
- Second course: Cotoletta alla Bolognese, which we split between two because of the generous portion.
We enjoyed all the dishes, and the bill was very reasonable (about €33 per person).
30/05/2026: Very traditional place that had been recommended by our host. Well deserved. We made a reservation a day upfront to get a table outside. The staff is super friendly and the food tasty. The wine menu is extraordinary. We (2 persons) had pasta each and the cutlet bologna style and a bottle of wine. We paid like 70 euro of which the wine made half of it.

28/12/2025: DONT COME HERE, SCAM! So the place is only a counter. Before I ordered I asked them, can you sit down somewhere. The lady replied - yes, across the street. She didnt mentioned thou that if you want to sit down there you have to order something to drink. It is a matter of principle, if they dont inform you about a hidden cost, then you dont pay. Cheapskates. The prices are the same as anywhere else, the food is below average for Italian standards. They give it to you in a lame plastic container. Unfriendly, no atmosphere, rude.
16/12/2025: The pumpkin tortelloni open up during cooking, the gnocchi are very firm with a faint potato flavour.

05/05/2026: This place might seem touristy, but it's actually a perfect example of a Bolognese trattoria. A different menu every day, an extensive wine list, and courtesy and hospitality are what you'll experience at Fantoni only after enjoying their delicious dishes. Fantoni has average prices for a downtown restaurant; don't expect to spend less than €20-30 per person.
PS. This may not be information for everyone, but they also have Gaza Gola!

30/06/2026: This is my third time at Trantoria in Bologna, including this location, but I don't really see the point of waiting in line to eat here. The ragu is okay, but is the rest really worth it? The seasoning is also stronger than expected.
30/06/2026: Everything was perfect! Special thanks to Rita, the waitress who served us, who was super kind and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

17/06/2026: Priceless, a unique location in Bologna. A golf course with a view of the entire city. Food on par with the location, and a wine cellar that's perhaps even better, if possible.
Ample and convenient parking.
Excellent service and reasonable but not excessive prices.
A place that fills the soul. Thank you.

11/05/2026: Very good food and service. The owners were very service-minded and sweet. The pasta portions were a little small( especially the lasagna), but the quality was very high. I highly recommend this place!
05/05/2026: This place was a real find. Our guide recommended it, and what a great choice! It's a very quiet place with a lovely atmosphere, where you can try the typical Bolognese sauce at a reasonable price. Pasta dishes are between 12 and 14 euros. Without a doubt, the best Bolognese we've ever had! And the pasta with ragu was spectacular. Highly recommended.

Very welcoming place with very kind and professional staff. A rare thing!
Careful cuisine and a Bolognese menu, not extensive but well-chosen.
Good wines and friendly service.
Highly recommended, given the deterioration in the downtown area.
Very polite and discreet staff, even at late hours. Well done.

14/05/2026: The restaurant is well-maintained and the service is good. As an Emilian, however, I was extremely disappointed with the food. Unfortunately, it was surprisingly poor, especially considering the excellent options available throughout the region and even more so considering the incredibly high prices. I expected much, much better.

03/06/2026: Having gotten out of today's Bologna hearing just before lunch, I decided to take the car and try the eponymous Trattoria Bertozzi on Via Andrea Costa. Unfortunately, it's not mine, I'm not even a minority shareholder, and it's actually a portmanteau of the two owners' surnames.
Reservations are required (it seats twenty!), the friendly Bolognese atmosphere inside, the service is courteous, and the restaurant offers an excellent cotoletta alla Bolognese with a glass of Barbera Rosso!

01/04/2026: A typical rustic place, one of the old traditional trattorias. Excellent quality food, extraordinary handmade tagliatelle, just like grandma used to make. It's hard to find a table, so just get there early. Friendly and professional staff. Typical Bolognese dishes made according to tradition. I highly recommend it to everyone, whether they're from Bologna or not... I dare you!
25/03/2026: A true Bolognese trattoria where you can eat excellently and affordably. If you like family-run business, this is definitely a must-try. The food is truly delicious.

11/04/2026: Special restaurant surrounded by murals, fast service and very good quality food, I went for an anniversary and I would say that the choice was excellent
10/04/2026: The atmosphere seems pleasant due to its rustic and original appearance. But the food... for goodness sake! Meager dishes improvised with the pretense of refinement: sliced steak with 6 pieces of tough, unseasoned meat... garnished with 2-3 leaves of tasteless boiled fennel and a half-raw wedge of red cabbage... Not to mention the meager dessert portions and the exorbitant prices!!! You leave the table feeling hungry: absolutely not recommended!!!!
