Quick midweek lunch. I'm celiac and had one of the best gluten-free Bolognese cutlets I've ever tasted, accompanied by fries. Gluten-free dishes are marked with an arugula leaf, which is always a good thing! They also have a few gluten-free pasta shapes: spaghetti, penne, and tagliatelle.

I've been wanting to try this trattoria on Via Saragozza for a while, mainly to try their famous cotoletta.
And I was absolutely delighted!
Perhaps they could diversify the cured meats in the appetizers, offering something a little more varied.
The menu is very extensive, with a wide selection of meat, traditional cuisine, and fish. I'm not usually a fan of restaurants with such a wide selection, but here the quality of the dishes seems very good.
The cotoletta is definitely one of the best (and largest) I've ever tasted, so it's definitely worth a try.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are average!

A welcoming, typical Emilian trattoria, excellent prices, generous, high-quality dishes. (The Bolognese cutlet is very good and even huge, pictured, and shared between two.)

I ate here with a group of friends after visiting San Luca. Excellent food, impeccable service, and the bill was more than fair. The fried artichokes were excellent and truly plentiful. The beef Bolognese was a true delight. I would return and recommend it.

This historic trattoria in Bologna serves truly excellent traditional Bolognese cuisine. The first and second courses are excellent, and the portions are generous. The prices are also excellent. I recommend booking well in advance, as the restaurant is always busy.
