18/03/2024: We came to the Herb Market because, in many guidebooks, it was marked "to visit". I'm sorry, but I was expecting something more characteristic: a simple and small covered market! In Rome we have several. We then stopped for a quick snack, in one of the two spaces reserved for catering. The place appears a bit confusing with "different boxes", but without a precise diversification. The dishes we tasted were of average quantity and quality. The service was quite "rough". Prices a little high, in relation to the quality of both the food and the location.

16/02/2024: Rude service, mediocre food and terrible wine storage. I will never set foot in Altro again and will never recommend it to anyone. If you happened upon this on a busy weekend evening, you might have had the presumption that this trendy venue, with its avant-garde arrangement of food stalls, also offered quality food and drinks and that the staff were friendly. This was the impression I had previously too. When we took family friends visiting Italy, we took them to Altro before the dinner peak. My guests, who were here visiting as family, were simply eating pizza and were treated rudely over a simple misunderstanding. But not just rudely, pointing fingers at them as if they were scolding a child. I was ashamed of how the Altro staff could behave. Did they treat them like this because they weren't Italian? I don't know, but that's what it looked like. Only after complaining to me in Italian, highlighting their rudeness, did the staff member defend himself by saying he was just trying to "do his job". Perhaps because they are always so busy and receive many walk-in customers, they have never developed basic customer service or human relations skills, and on this occasion, when there were no rush hours, we saw this behavior in full force. light. Everyone deserves a little respect. I would recommend Altro staff get customer service training. I also wouldn't suggest drinking red wines at their bar, as they put them in the dishwasher, which definitely ruins these wines.

05/04/2024: Worst Lasagne I had in my life. I think they just put in microwave some old part because they were fridge cold in the middle and Luke warm at ends + they were extra salty. Do not recommend.

24/03/2024: I sat by chance because most of the shops were full. It was a pleasant surprise. Daria was very kind and willing to help me order. The atmosphere was great as I sat outside, in an alley where most of the tables were. The lasagnas are wonderful, as is the dessert. The prices are normal.
