04/03/2026: Excellent food, excellent quality, generous portions. The service was fast and courteous, but my partner and I felt quite uncomfortable because the waiters, even though they simply wanted to be present, were too intrusive, staring at the customers in an annoyingly obsessive manner, inappropriate for a couple who wanted even a modicum of privacy. 🤷‍♂️

12/06/2026: Pleasant seafood dinner: the buffet appetizer featured marinated salmon, truly excellent; anchovies, octopus, and shrimp salad... all very good. For two, we had fried calamari and mussels with pepper, splitting the dishes. The portions were adequate; in fact, the pepper was generous. We didn't try the pizza... but judging by the dishes I saw being brought, it looked good. Excellent service; the dishes were changed after each course. Just a little noisy due to the live music. Fair prices.

09/05/2026: The first plus, as always, is the dog-friendly service. The place is truly lovely, with plenty of seating and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind and always available for any requests, making us feel right at home. We celebrated a birthday here and started with a mix of appetizers and fries: everything was truly excellent. The dough was good, the flavors well-balanced, and most importantly, there was no unpleasant taste of fried oil. Next, we ordered pizzas, and I must say there's a huge selection. Furthermore, for those with special requests, they're very happy to customize pizzas without any problem. The pizza dough was also really good, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients used. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and spend a pleasant evening with friends. And lastly, we also tried the newest addition, the realistic fruit. It was delicious and we were satisfied.

19/05/2026: We just arrived in Naples and wanted to grab a relaxing lunch on our way to our accommodation. Villa Antica, a family-run restaurant with a great view, immediately appealed to us. Unfortunately, we can only warn against visiting it today. We were completely ripped off, and when we confronted the waiter (the son), he became increasingly entangled in lies. The father, the owner of the restaurant, became aggressive and almost physically violent, so we ended up having to spend the day at the police station. Not only was this a very unpleasant experience on the first day of our vacation, but we also suffered a financial loss of €1350 due to the fraud. Because of the family members' solidarity, it's now a case of one person's word against another's, and we can't prove the restaurant owner's guilt. Please protect yourselves and don't support this family business of fraudsters in their shady dealings.

08/05/2026: We tried several fish cones, and this one was by far the best. The sardines were fried perfectly—light, fresh, and delicious. It helps that they fry them to order, rather than having them pre-made like in other similar places. A tad more expensive than some, but much better. We went back for another one.

14/05/2026: Vecchia Officina Cantina Bistrot has a beautiful atmosphere, meticulously crafted and perfect for both a quiet dinner and a livelier evening. The sandwiches are spectacular: fresh ingredients, original combinations, and quality you can taste from the first bite. The portions are generous, and the value is excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly, always available, and attentive to their customers, which really made a difference today. Service was quick despite the restaurant being packed. You can sense the passion they put into what they do.

The Easter Monday lunch might be a bit pricey (€60 for adults): this aspect needs to be reconsidered for less important holidays. My compliments for the gluten-free casatiello and pastiera! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Maximum gluten-free safety standards. Excellent quality food. A very inviting meat display. Well done!!!

29/05/2026: • Service: We had initially booked for ten adults, but at the last minute four more people joined. Fortunately, the place wasn't crowded, being a Thursday night, and the waiters very kindly moved another table to make us comfortable. However, the service later revealed several flaws. For starters, a waiter—perhaps slipping—spilled a plate of chips all over me and a friend of mine (but that can happen, no problem!). The real problems began later: for example, while we were eating our appetizers, we ordered another portion of fresh chips because we liked them, but they never arrived (it happens). The management of the steaks was the most sore point: some were missing condiments, others were cooked incorrectly, and one course arrived over twenty minutes later than the first. Aside from the fact that I ate alone after everyone else had already finished, I was still willing to overlook it all; The thing that bothered me most, however, was the extreme difficulty in getting the staff's attention, both for water and to cook the meat a little more—it arrived practically raw despite a request for medium rare, so much so that I had to personally bring the dish to the waiter—and even to ask for the bill. • Food: We started with several portions of chips as an appetizer, both fresh chips and frozen sticks. The chips were hot, tasty, and freshly made, while the sticks didn't really impress me, especially since they were served with fondue instead of the provolone cheese requested. The portion of arrosticini was good, and the portion of mixed fried meats was excellent, as well as plentiful, and we loved it! For main courses, we opted for sandwiches and tagliata, which, despite the service time, turned out to be very good: the meat melted in your mouth and was truly tasty, as were the arugula, flakes, and cherry tomatoes, all fresh and flavorful. • Atmosphere: Very quiet; There weren't many people, so it was pleasant to chat. The air conditioning was also a real relief, as it was already starting to get quite hot. • Venue: A classic pub with wooden chairs and benches with cushions. Nothing particularly distinctive. • Area: Via Campi Flegrei in Pozzuoli. There's a parking lot nearby that costs three euros and is open until 1 a.m.; parking on the street isn't easy, and you have to be very careful about fines! • Opinion: A real shame about the service, which, despite the kindness of the staff, seemed decidedly inattentive to the dining room. In any case, both the appetizers and main courses were to our liking and satisfied.
