An intimate environment, a few bar seats (don't expect tables) with a view of the kitchen and, behind, the Castel Nuovo. Almost star service. The menu is only pasta (and some desserts), not long but what they do they do really well. The price is high for the average and for the city, but within the cost of a plate of pasta there is also service (see above) and an entree plus appetizers offered on the house. All products and raw materials are top quality. It's not an everyday restaurant, but I'll happily return there from time to time for a culinary treat.

My favourite pasta in whole of Naples!
This restaurant is above Di Martino pasta shop, so don’t walk around looking for a restaurant front! You’ll definitely notice the most delicious smells coming from their take away window just around the corner.
One you’ve been taken upstairs you’ll see open kitchen with sits around. You can watch very well presented chefs effortlessly preparing delicious dishes.
Wine list is very good and well priced, service is just fantastic, they will make you feel spoiled! Do yourself a favour and book a table.

Un ambiente intimo, poche sedute da bar (non aspettatevi tavoli) con vista cucina e, alle spalle, il Castel Nuovo. Servizio quasi da stellato. Il menù è solo di pasta (e qualche dolce), non lungo ma quello che fanno lo sanno fare davvero bene. Il prezzo è elevato per la media e per la città, ma dentro al costo di un piatto di pasta c'è anche il servizio (vedi sopra) e una entree più stuzzicherie offerte dalla casa. Tutti i prodotti e le materie prime sono di prima qualità. Non è un ristorante da ogni giorno, ma ci tornerò volentieri di tanto in tanto per una coccola culinaria.

Found out about this restaurant in the NYT. We had some really good pasta (vegetarian and ragu), house wine and a beautiful tart for dessert!
Loved the atmosphere, you can sit watching the chefs cook your pasta and have a nice view of the port.
We also got a nice amuse bouche, pasta sampler and treats to go as a gift from the kitchen!

Yes, it’s perfect: the service, the wines, the dishes, everything is warm, generous and done with the greatest attention. Favor classic dishes of Neapolitan cuisine and wines from Campania. A big thank you to the whole team, we had a moment of excellence and authenticity.

In comparison to other place in Naples the portions were small and pricy. As a concept it was very nice. I did enjoy watching the chef prepare my meal and i did enjoy the meal it was of very good standards.
I like the way that have made it into a pasta shop down stairs and you can buy a massive selection of pastas.
It is something that everyone should try.

Interesting experience. You eat gourmet sitting at a counter! Excellent service and good food! There are many stairs in the room!

It was a surprise to be recommended and find this curious place. Only pasta and, I must say, very good too even if the menu is limited. You can choose the pasta shape and eat it outside, like I did. A fleeting meal that brings together the Neapolitan tradition of pasta and the surrounding environment.
