Located in a small but welcoming space, this pub manages to combine quality, originality and friendliness in a truly successful mix. The sandwiches are the real strong point of the place. Many are named after the streets of Naples, such as “Caravaggio Street” or “Tecchio”, a tasty tribute to the Neapolitan tradition. Others, however, surprise with their innovation, such as the Croccopanino: a fried sandwich filled with croquette dough, an original creation of the pub that is worth the visit alone. Every bite is a discovery, thanks to the use of high-quality raw materials, carefully chosen and treated with respect. Another plus point is the staff, always smiling, helpful and ready to recommend the right sandwich based on the customer's tastes. This helps create a familiar and relaxed atmosphere, where you immediately feel at home. The small size of the restaurant plays in favor of quality: few seats allow for greater attention to preparation and presentation, always guaranteeing an excellent result. Finally, the prices are absolutely average, especially when compared to the quality of the food and service. In a gastronomic panorama where you often pay more for the name than the content, Bixio 66 represents a happy exception. In conclusion, Bixio 66 is a small great jewel, perfect for those looking for authentic flavors, original ideas and a warm welcome. Absolutely worth trying.

02/06/2025: **5/5 Stars** Hidden gem near Sorrento! Stumbled upon this hotel restaurant in a small village and was thoroughly impressed. The seafood platter is absolutely must-order - beautifully presented with fresh sashimi, oysters, and caviar. The red prawn risotto (€25) was the highlight - perfectly cooked rice with generous, sweet prawns. For comparison, similar dishes in Naples or Amalfi would easily cost double. Other standouts: complimentary amuse-bouche, excellent bread selection with quality olive oil, crispy fried seafood with vegetables, and clam linguine. The chocolate dessert was artistically plated and delicious. Hotel has parking which is perfect for self-drivers navigating the area. Service was attentive and professional. Definitely make a reservation - this place deserves to be busy! Great value alternative to overpriced tourist restaurants in main towns.

29/05/2025: A must visit get in early to appreciate the views and atmosphere….many weddings are held here everyday sometimes…and it fills up really fast with tourists from China and Japan as a place of history You will need to book a table for an evening meal…I had a brunch which was a slow enjoyable meal

29/05/2025: Friendly staff and food was pretty good but nothing special. What was special was the view and the atmosphere which was worth every penny. Incredible view with Vesuvius in all its glory right in front of you and a panoramic coastal view. Live music and happy people all around!

03/03/2025: Bar Astra is an abomination that would make the world of Omori seem like paradise in comparison. Just like the psychologically tormented protagonist of that game, I found myself trapped in a nightmare from which I couldn't wake up. The location is as bleak as Omori's White Space. A sterile and personality-free environment, with uncomfortable chairs that make you miss even the protagonist's bed in his mental space. At least there you could lie down and escape reality. The menu is an insult to the palate, worse than the culinary hallucinations of Sweetheart's Castle. The prices are absurdly high for what they offer, as if they are trying to steal your clams just like Spaceboy. I ordered a sandwich that looked like it had been assembled by Humphrey at his most grotesque. The service is slow and listless, as if the waiters are trapped in their traumas just like the characters in Omori. They look at you with blank eyes as you wait an eternity for a coffee that tastes like dirty water from Black Space. The atmosphere is so oppressive that it made me want to press the ESC key and exit this nightmare, just like in the game. But unfortunately, unlike Omori, there is no escape here other than paying the hefty bill and vowing never to return. In conclusion, Bar Astra is an experience that leaves you with more trauma than a game of Omori. If you want to preserve your sanity, avoid this place like you would avoid the stairs at Basil's house. It's not even worth facing this distorted reality.

The atmosphere is welcoming and the owner is of rare kindness: always available, with a smile that makes every customer feel at home. A place I will definitely return to, highly recommended!

13/06/2025: Een klein, knus typisch Napolitaans restaurant gelegen vlakbij de haven. Als start namen we de marinata di pesce mista: heerlijke gemarineerde zalm, ansjovis en baars. Vervolgens kwam - o vreugde! - een bord paccheri met vis en tomatensaus. En toen, ja toen sloeg de kok zijn slag: een polpetto naar een 30 jaar oud recept van vader Antonio: een echte smaakbom. Alles overgoten met een witte Falanghina en - ach waarom niet? - als toetje een heerlijk stuk citroentaart. Nog een limoncello van het huis als toemaatje, de avond kon niet meer stuk!

15/05/2025: En fantastisk restaurang. Finkrog med god mat, perfekt service och trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Högst upp i ett hotell, utsikt över Medelhavet. Hit kommer vi tillbaka.

We booked the tour with the tourist agency. €80 for a return ferry, bus from the port to the center and lunch, first course, second course, side dish, fruit, and water. We arrived and when we asked if we could eat outside, they sent us to a table at the back of the room, half dark and very close to the bathroom. We ate two caprese because they were vegetarian. We had to go and ask if they could bring us a coffee because no one came to ask us anything anymore. We felt like second-rate tourists. Rude staff.

22/06/2025: We had dinner this evening in this fantastic location, starting this fantastic experience with a wonderful welcome from a courteous and very professional staff then moving on to the dishes which were equally exceptional. I highly recommend anyone who sets foot on this wonderful island to stop by here.

26/05/2025: Beautiful and unique location right on the water. Service was attentive, impeccable. Loved the basil cocktails. Food was amazing. I’ll be dreaming of that anchovy pasta… lobster pasta and grilled lobster also excellent. Tiramisu was delicious and the lemon dessert was the perfect end to a perfect meal! Would definitely recommend making a reservation.

21/12/2024: panino molto buono considerati gli ingredienti di buona qualità poiché ci troviamo all'interno di una macelleria, purtroppo però, a rovinare l'esperienza ci sono i tempi di attesa che nel mio caso sono stati 35m per 2 panini, e l'incompetenza del personale (cassiera) che non solo ha per ben due volte sbagliato a prendere l'ordine ma a parer mio risultata antipatica e poco disponibile: avevo ordinato un panino con hamburger di black Angus e una porzione di patatine fritte con würstel. La signorina aveva precedentemente selezionato delle patatine diverse da quelle da me scelte, allora le faccio notare l'errore, e solo dopo essere uscito per attendere l'ordine mi accorgo che i due diversi tipi di patatine hanno una differenza di 1 euro che richiedo appena me ne rendo conto. Una volta in preparazione mi viene riferita l'assenza di quel determinato tipo di hamburger e mi viene quindi suggerito un'hamburger di salsiccia, dati i prezzi differenti tra i due, richiedo la differenza, (che sicuramente non mi sarebbe stata data indietro poiché ho aspettato la consegna del panino prima di chiedere il reso) . Inoltre dopo aver ritirato l'ordine ed essere tornato a casa per mangiare, mi accorgo che con le patatine fritte non c'erano i wrustel, da me però pagati. Sono riuscito ad accorgermi di due errori ma non del terzo in quanto le patatine mi sono state consegnate confezionate.

03/05/2025: Siamo stati da Maestri Pizzaioli e ne siamo usciti davvero soddisfatti! Abbiamo preso i fritti come antipasto e poi ovviamente la pizza, che è stata all’altezza del nome del locale: impasto leggero, ingredienti di qualità e cottura perfetta. Il tutto a prezzi davvero popolari, cosa molto apprezzata dato i prezzi correnti a Napoli. Il servizio è stato veloce e cordiale, l’ambiente semplice ma accogliente. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Super consigliato!
