Roll fantastici fantastici,molto affascinante è l’ accostamento della tradizione giapponese con quella lucana. Carta dei vini molto dettagliata e dolci superlativi.

17/02/2024: The evening did not live up to the prestige it boasts! Room completely dark. Unfortunately very disappointing service, really slow, but also the food. The “waiters” (if they can be called that) did not wear any uniform; even if the family or owners of the place do not present a very professional image. The food arrived very late and was really nothing special, I would dare say almost unpleasant, my husband and I were even slightly sick. The bill was done without giving the receipt with the details of the order, in fact according to our accounts we had to pay at least €20 less. My husband avoided replying to avoid protesting in public. I will not return, I do not recommend.

04/04/2024: I stopped at this restaurant by chance and had a great time. The very kind staff accommodated my two children who don't eat fish while my wife and I both had fish menus and it was all delicious. Beautiful external view.

02/04/2024: Easter Monday with some friends, arrived at 2pm, fairly quick service taking into account the holiday and the people who were there. Some abundant and very good dishes. At the end a bit of confusion with some courses but immediately ready and very kind. Very good frying. Ate fresh pasta with mussels and prawns. Nice view. Restaurant on the street. Nice venue.

11/03/2024: I found myself in this lovely bar by chance. Really nice, located in a historic building (former Benedictine convent) where the Lucanian Apennines Park is located, with a panoramic view of the suggestive Val d'Agri. Among pastel shades and welcoming environments, I enjoyed an excellent espresso with cinnamon biscuits. But there is much more to appreciate such as tiramisu, pancakes, etc. all made in home. Impeccable service, the ladies who served me were very kind, and I spent a trifle. A small wedding favor set in an enchanting village, Marsico Nuovo, in the province of Potenza.

04/04/2024: Fantastic experience, in the center of Lavello. Forentum is not a place to eat or sleep, or rather, it is not the classic place you go to because you don't know where to go. It is a place of aggregation, of profound tradition and true innovation managed by Savino in an incredible way. The restaurant offers the opportunity to try traditional recipes from Basilicata in the ancient way with a unique respect for the ingredients, all local, and with a workmanlike execution. An absolute must-try is the ravioli filled with sweet ricotta and topped with sauce, a work of art that excites every single taste bud like no other before. Also in the restaurant it is possible to try the pizzas, burgers or sushi, expertly made as only a true enthusiast can do. And Savino is a huge enthusiast, able to bring together tradition and innovation in a simple way, without forcing, which simply makes you happy. The suite rooms also enjoy modern but not tacky furnishings, with all comforts. Comfortable mattress, bathroom, shower, sink, walk-in closet and desk, plus a small refrigerator. In short, a place that has become, what seems like a shadow of a doubt, a reference, and to which I will return to discover this wonderful land that is Basilicata. I once again congratulate the creator of all this, the creator of a work that is more unique than rare in all of Italy.

26/10/2023: We had booked to see the Grancia show for the long weekend of June 2nd this year but due to bad weather, it was postponed and they refunded the purchase of the tickets. We booked for the second time for the month of August and fortunately we were able to see the puppet theater and the falconry show, wonderful for all ages. The best thing was the story of brigandage which lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes. We will definitely be back again in a few years.
