03/04/2024: My friends and I had lunch on Easter Monday and we were really satisfied with everything, good tasty food, a lot of friendliness on the part of Angelo (the manager) and a lot of courtesy, kindness and professionalism on the part of the dining room staff, especially Virginia, beautiful and nice waitress, I recommend you go there immediately.

31/03/2024: Before entering I thought I was having lunch in a restaurant but my partner and I were really surprised to find the service of a starred restaurant! The food was delicious, a search for native raw materials processed as tradition dictates. The elegant location immersed in the green panorama of the Marateo hills. I highly recommend.

26/02/2024: weekend to unplug Between Covid which forced us to stay out of social life and the increasingly stressful work, my husband and I, with a group of friends, treated ourselves to a weekend in San Costantino Albanese, a small village where there is no chaos traffic and people, just looking at it gives you calm and serenity. For lunch, dinner and breakfast we relied on Pasquale, the owner of this place, what can I say, you eat divinely genuine food and amazing local products with very appropriate prices. 25/02/2024: Sasso di Castalda, a beautiful Lucanian village of not even 1000 souls, worth seeing... I love it... I go back and return from Puglia. Yet, incredibly, I had never been here: fatal mistake. Obviously a matter of taste but personally I love this type of place: a lot of wood is already a nice business card for a brewery... in an instant you're in Scotland drinking a nice beer... and what a beer... and blues from the speakers. .Paradise in Earth.. Honestly, I didn't expect to find this choice of beers when they advised me to drop by and instead I was guilty of doubting. Selected, highly selected beers and if by chance you don't know which to choose, don't worry, the owner is ready to give you all the necessary explanations and to advise. By the way, the place was full and I think there were only two of them serving but my friends and I were shocked by how they handled the situation: impeccable both in terms of timing and in asking questions, incredible, in two... that is, the owner served alone all the tables, shop assistants, poured beers and went down to the bottom floor at the counter... that is, my friend, truly compliments. Obviously if you drink well, you have to eat well and here, yes, you also eat very well.. Pulled pork, Lucanian sandwich, hot dog, onion rings, french fries, etc... three of us proved that we really liked it... A quality venue, honestly difficult to find even in cities much, much larger than this pearl set in stone.. Indeed, in a stone. 100% recommended PS: Don't look at the price range indicated... we really exaggerated... really... but how do you do it... refined beers for €5... that is, but where do you find them...

21/02/2024: Le 5 stelle le metto per non pregiudicare la media del ristorante, poichè non ho cenato in questo ristorante; di fatto non mi hanno fatto accomodare di sabato sera alle 20.00, ero solo e la sala era in quel momento del tutto vuota (sicuramente del tutto prenotata ma vuota). Recensisco per dare un consiglio: quando in un paese si è il solo posto dove mangiare, la ristorazione diventa un servizio pubblico che in qualche modo dovrebbe essere garantito. Non dubito che siate davvero bravi in cucina ma abbiate più rispetto del vostro ruolo sociale in un posto incantevole come Anzi. In questo modo sarete anche ambasciatori validi della vostra terra.

10/03/2024: Dopo diverse esperienze non fa altro che riconfermarsi il nostro ristorante di sushi preferito. I proprietari sono molto e sanno come guidarti nel percorso gastronomico. Roll fantastici fantastici,molto affascinante è l’ accostamento della tradizione giapponese con quella lucana. Carta dei vini molto dettagliata e dolci superlativi.

17/02/2024: The evening did not live up to the prestige it boasts! Room completely dark. Unfortunately very disappointing service, really slow, but also the food. The “waiters” (if they can be called that) did not wear any uniform; even if the family or owners of the place do not present a very professional image. The food arrived very late and was really nothing special, I would dare say almost unpleasant, my husband and I were even slightly sick. The bill was done without giving the receipt with the details of the order, in fact according to our accounts we had to pay at least €20 less. My husband avoided replying to avoid protesting in public. I will not return, I do not recommend.

17/03/2024: Oggi 17 marzo, pranzo con amici, ospiti. Premesso che le mie origini sono lucane, quindi abituato fin da bambino alla cucina delle nonne lucane e madre lucana. Un pranzo così mia nonna e mia madre non lo avrebbero preparato neanche per il cane di famiglia. Vi dico solo che è finita, dopo poche ore con vomito da parte di mio figlio, nonostante avesse saltato diverse portate, nausea e pesantezza gastrica nei restanti famigliari! Non ho osato chiedere agli amici come stessero! Anche perché avevo organizzato tutto io insieme a mia figlia! Povera meravigliosa cucina lucana in quali mani è finita!

12/02/2024: We came here on a very dark day with rain so we couldn't enjoy the exteriors which are beautiful but we had lunch in an internal room that wasn't particularly beautiful. Yet we chose it precisely to allow our son to see the animals, as well as the local food... we were unlucky. The cold cuts and dairy products they produce were the best part. Starters and pasta a little behind in salt. The slice arrived slightly cold while the sausage was very tasty. I appreciated the flavor of the vegetables which reminded me of childhood: you can feel that it is genuine stuff. Bread, wine and oil not of their production... it's the least quality stuff. The sweets and bitters are good, always produced by them. The owner is very kind. Advised
