17/04/2026: Since I moved to Melfi in 2015, I've been frequenting this restaurant. Over the years, it's only grown in its offerings. In 2021, I celebrated my daughter's first birthday with lunch inside with family and then outside in the evening with friends. I've also attended other personal events and other events...all with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Truly excellent food and a constantly updated menu, a beautiful location, and excellent service. Jeans is a guarantee. Highly recommended.

17/05/2026: A typical Lucanian restaurant, serving simple dishes featuring local ingredients and offering a warm welcome. The restaurant is simple and clean. We had lunch, and the appetizers were excellent (local cured meats and cheeses), followed by a simple and flavorful first course, a roast meat main course, and dessert. Everything was delicious, without elaborate details, served in just the right quantities, and with fresh cutlery. Special mention goes to the owner, Vincenzo, who is helpful, friendly, and very professional.

18/05/2026: Well, what can I say... Sant'Agata is our favorite restaurant! If it were close to home, we'd go at least once a month. We travel a long way, but it's the only restaurant we always enjoy stopping at.
The appetizers are plentiful and of the highest quality, with many truly exceptional typical Lucanian products. They also have Aglianico wine, and anyone who loves red wine but hasn't tried it yet should definitely try it!
The staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming. Perhaps the only thing I'd update are the chairs, because they're not very comfortable, but otherwise, in my opinion, there's no better restaurant in the area.
I hope it stays this way. See you in July 2026! :)

11/04/2026: My husband and I have been traveling around Italy for the past 10 days. We’ve visited Rome, the Amalfi Coast, Positano, Sorrento, Salerno, Castellabate, and Agropoli.
But here in Melfi, at Novecento, we had the best carbonara we’ve eaten on this entire trip — truly outstanding. On top of that, the prices were incredibly reasonable, which made the experience even better.
We highly recommend this place without any hesitation. If you’re anywhere near Melfi, it’s absolutely worth a stop.

16/02/2026: A decent and affordable restaurant and pizzeria with a wide menu, perfect for families and groups with diverse tastes. It's not particularly convenient to get there.
20/11/2025: A very nice restaurant and pizzeria. A very interesting place on the gentle slope of the volcano near Melfi. Atmospheric interior with a fireplace. Very good food and friendly service. I recommend it.

- the owner was welcoming and friendly,
- she warned us that the appetizers would be very generous. If you want to try more, I recommend ordering them, but for a few less people than the actual number.
Everything was really good and fresh.
We'll be back to try other things; highly recommended.
